GoReact: Solution for Instructors AND Students
What do you like best about the product?
I love the seamless and efficient grading capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't yet found a downside of using GoReact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems using GoReact. I love not just the capability for providing quality feedback--through multiple ways (on presentation, rubric)--and students' ability to easily access and consume that feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the best presentation-assignment platform I have seen. Not only am I able to set up an assignment quickly and easily--including all presentation requirements I need, but students are able to quickly and easily access and review the feedback provided on their work. Best of all, it's the one learning platform I've used in which students have never complained about a glitch, etc. In general, GoReact is a robust platform that makes the busy lives of students and instructors easier without sacrificing usefulness/productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
GoReact is amazing! :-) Students can get and give feedback. I can give feedback privately or openly. I love the tool and wish I had had it many years ago when I first started teaching. It would have saved me so much time!!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more ways of testing students using GoReact. It doesn't quite fit my needs in that area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saving is the biggest advantage. Gone are the days of using VHS tapes or YouTube! Whew! So thankful for GoReact! :-)
Additionally, I can give feedback in a variety of methods including videotaped! Perfect for teaching ASL! I love it!!

Helpful for Zoom University!
What do you like best about the product?
I use GoReact to teach an undergraduate music course and I love it. It makes it so much easier to give personalized feedback to each student; I can give comments at the exact point in their video where a mistake was made, and I can send video comments back explaining how to overcome the problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app is not as easy to use as the website. My students cannot always access the instructions if they are using the app on an android phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am overcoming the struggles of asynchronous learning with GoReact and I’m so thankful for this program. My students are still able to receive the individualized instruction they need, and they’re able to access course content easily.

Great for assessing professional performance!
What do you like best about the product?
GoReact provides a user-friendly interface to assess professional performance in the field. Users can easily upload videos of their work (teaching, performance, work with clients) and can get live, time-stamped comments and feedback. Also helpful is the ability to align observations to performance rubrics to calibrate performances toward specific professional standards. Personally, I also love the ability to provide both written, video-based, and recorded comments that are time-stamped and easily located by the user. GoReact is also helpful for getting inter-rater reliability on observations, great for peer observation, and great for establishing goals for upcoming observations. Videos are easily uploaded to GoReact for review and the whole system is very safe and secure. It's one of the best video services that I have used (and I've used a lot of services). The price-point for users is also very reasonable. I highly recommend this software to support the professional development in performance-focused career development (teaching, nursing, the arts, etc.). Oh, and the support from GoReact is very responsive and top-notch, with plenty of opportunities for PD and workshops to get familiar with its capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't see downsides...it's very well-designed. The pricing structure needs to be negotiated with institutions but is very reasonable and there is a lot of "bang for the buck" with this software.

It has vastly improved my ability to provide realtime quality feedback to my students on their teaching and to identify goals for improvement. It focuses students on how their teaching supports students' learning, versus the superficial aspects of watching one's teaching on video. It provides a "safe space" to unpack both the progress and needed growth to improve students' performance. So great.

Experiment with its use for awhile in a "dummy" course

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to provide feedback embedded into the student's video. I don't have to worry about timers or descriptions. I can give text or video feedback immediately and effectively!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were "folders" I could use to help organize assignments for my students. They have to look through the entire list to find things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to give video assignments, create tests AND their rubrics right in GoReact. It saves so much time and provides a much more efficient way to teach!

What do you like best about the product?
I can easily watch my 1st year teachers in their classrooms and add targeted feedback.

I wish I could copy the videos with the comments into our company's system (right now I just use screenshots)

I get to provide targeted feedback for first-year teachers, helping them to refine their teaching practices.
Meaningful Coaching/Feedback Conversations

So many things about GoReact that I love! In no particular order: Time-stamped narrative comments (aligned with the video) are a great way to engage in an evidence-based feedback conversation, with the ability for back/forth dialogue between the coach/instructor and the student/candidate. The ability to upload files, links, and other resources is another tool that adds value to the coaching conversation. The seamless integration with Canvas (and probably other LMS) is user-friendly and easy to use with no additional registrations and/or sign-in. Another benefit of using GoReact is the ability to record video direct to the GoReact platform without taking up storage space on the recording device.
Our organization started using GoReact for a very specific state assessment that required video and time-stamped comments, and it is not used across our program for candidates to demonstrate leadership skills and abilities. Excellent platform and I know it adds value to our candidates' experience in our program!

A wish list item would be the ability to clip/edit videos directly in GoReact. Not a deal breaker as uploading and downloading is very easy and efficient.

GoReact integrates source material from Youtube and select publishers to make student presentations reflecting real-world dynamics

I can't slow videos that are linked to source material from YouTube or EIS.

Excellent tool for oral activities feedback
What do you like best about the product?
Goreact is an excellent tool to give time stamped feedback to students. It is very user friendly for teacher and students.

The price was too high for my University to keep using
