Useful but clunky
What do you like best about the product?
Video feedback is great. It can be very helpful with students.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many clicks involved in setting up assignments and grading. It's clunky. I also hate the constant message that I have to update my browser when I start. Get rid of that message.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped a lot with distance learning.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to give feedback in real-time is an excellent teaching tool. It also allows student self-evaluation, which is very beneficial pedagogiccally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sound quality is often poor. As a music instructor having good, clean sound is paramount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I did not have the time to visit student teachers according to their teaching schedules. I can now review their teaching on my own timetable and still give effective feedback.

There have been occasions that it has glitched and I have lost my uploaded info.

Great way to evaluate students' signing skills! Able to provide feedback via text or signs; Can add rubrics to GoReact assignments; Can pause/go back to review/make comments at anytime, not just at the end
What do you dislike about the product?
Some students are not experienced with GoReact and need guidelines or training to help along the way; sometimes videos are blurry or not clear and makes it difficult to view; can't revise the rubric if copied from another area
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not sure what the "problems" are since I'm not seeing much changes with GoReact. I know I'd keep using GoReact and if there are new changes, I'd like guidelines or training prior to teaching my courses to become familiar with the changes to assist students when needed.
Excellent product that holds student success at it's highest priority, but gets pricy for students

What do you like best about the product?
I like that while I am observing one of my teacher candidates I can provide written or video feedback. The recording pauses and the teacher candidate can see/watch my feedback where it matches their teaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to hear all of the students and see what is happening in the class depending on the angle of the camera. Maybe a tutorial on how to maximize your recording space could be helpful for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When teacher candidates are out of our travel range GoReact is a great tool to use to provide feedback. With the cost of travel GoReact also saves our institution funds.

Nothing! It costs money, but that is expected and understandable.

GoReact: An excellent tool for higher education

Both the synchronous and asynchronous capabilities of the platform and user interaction.

I cannot think of anything at this time.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is my favorite thing about GoReact from an instructor perspective. When I unrolled it, I worried students would struggle to use the software as I was piloting it in an asynchronous online class. But the product is incredibly intuitive and after using it for multiple semesters, very few students even email with questions!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only potential downside is that sometimes students are resistant to using a software they haven't seen before. Again, though, once they start using it, they find it very simple.

Teaching online classes that do not have synchronous meeting sessions is always difficult in terms of scheduling presentations, but GoReact makes it soooo easy. For those of us tired of assigning journal and discussion board prompts, this is a perfect solution!!
