GoReact: great for languages!
What do you like best about the product?
GoReact has many tools that were very useful for a language class, particularly the recording options, to which instructors can respond to with time-stamped oral or written feedback. It was also easy of use and it integrated nicely with Canvas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. This is an issue because students have to pay (or department) for each class they use GoReact, which ends up being pretty pricey, especially if students are majoring or minoring in a language and need it in 7 to 10 classes. There was no special discount offered, and the cost per class is definitely significant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not using it anymore but when we did, it allowed for us to give time-stamped audio feedback, which is crucial to support pronunciation feedback to language learners.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your students need to pay for each semester they use, you might want to consider decreasing the cost of textbooks as this adds a significant amount of money to their expenses.

What do you like best about the product?
The features of the GoReact have to offer. The features such as: live feedback, markers, multi camera support and slide sync. Those features are helpful with my teaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that GoReact is not well-merged with other platforms but works well with my institution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many video platforms are out there for educators whos specialized in language development, however, GoReact supports and maximizes my need to teach a new language. The student gets specific feedback and able to improve their skills. Benefits are not only for educators but students.
Great platform for evaluating teachers
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can upload a video, and then your supervisor can view it and add their comments in real-time. It was so much better than being observed in person!
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a learning curve on how to upload the videos! I figured it out, but many of my colleagues had difficulty. Through trial and error I was able to create a "how-to" document that they could follow to upload their videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With COVID, this was a great way to have my supervisor participate in my evaluation without having too many people in one place. I do home visits for my work and being able to record my visit and then share it with her was great. I liked seeing her comments right at the spot of the video.
GoReact: both efficient & effective way to provide rich feedback
What do you like best about the product?
I've been a user for many years now. It is, hands down, the most efficient way for me to provide meaningful and relevant feedback to my students & clients.

The interface with canvas is still a bit clunky. It's better than it was but could be stronger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My students love it and I now use it for them to provide one another feedback as well. It definitely has allowed me to take up my game as a coach and professor.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a pilot and see if it works for you; not all my colleagues like it...but I swear by it.
Excellent software for filmed or peer assigments
What do you like best about the product?
This creates a single, easily gradable assignment for activities based on peer interaction. I can assign peers or have them self-select within the class, and have all open sections randomly select from one large pool of peer videos to do peer reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional tech glitches where students would film and videos would not be visible on the instructor end for several days. Students who recorded last-minute had '0' grades entered, and one nearly missed a state exit exam and had to be sent on trust that their assignment would pop up eventually. Still, they had to go for assessment without the valuable feedback from that recorded session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is delays in video uploading and occasional issues with sound quality. The benefits of group participation and peer-to-peer practice still outweigh the small issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure your assignment instructions specify that videos can have difficulty recording or uploading and to allow extra time to film, NOT to film at the last hour before deadlines.
Works, but Could be Better
What do you like best about the product?
I like how GoReact allows students to record on the site or upload from their phone or other devices. It makes the uploading process much easier. The students also can review their videos and make comments, which is helpful when having students perform critiques.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ways that GoReact allows for comments to be made on the videos is not the best. It either makes it a comment that students rarely see or you have to upload a file with comments, so I typically have to email each student separately with specific comments on their speeches. The system also does not have a lot of features that make it unique. The results would be the same if a student just emailed a video file.

GoReact is easily embedded in Blackboard, which makes it easy for students to find and upload their videos.

Accessibility, and a platform to centralize all video assignments along with rubrics to appropriately evaluate students.

Tool for multiple utility
What do you like best about the product?
Recording and storing the videos. Also, the editing with various features is one of the cool things. Sharing and integrating ability makes this software more usable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like most of the features but still, I feel I do not know how to use a few features. I would like to see more friendly navigation.

I use ECHO 360 as my biggest live saver during the pandemic for my job. It helps in recording my lecture videos and share with my class. Creating the link and embedded in various platfoms.
