The product claims to be a full VOIP Amazon Connect softphone. It does not work as a softphone without PSTN connection for the last mile. Comstice refuse to refund software which is not what they sold and is not usable on new Amazon Connect instances. Steer clear from this offering unless you are happy with a PSTN connection (but if so then why are you using Amazon Connect which can save you telephony costs and handles this complexity for you).
