Dependable Automation with Solid Security

  • April 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy GoAnywhere MFT makes automation. It saves time, reduces manual work, and still provides strong security, which makes it dependable. I appreciate that everything is visible in one place, which saves time and makes troubleshooting easier. The logs and reports also help with audits and overall visibility. The tool provides solid and reliable security features and is strong in automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI feels outdated and troubleshooting can be a little simpler. The UI could be more modern and intuitive, with simpler navigation and better guidance for users. In troubleshooting, logs are detailed but not always easy to understand, so clearer error messages and more user-friendly debugging tools would help a lot. Initial setup was okay overall but not simple, configuring and workflow integration took some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use GoAnywhere MFT for secure file transfers, automating data movements, and improving security. It helps avoid manual errors with centralized monitoring, easy troubleshooting, and strong security. Everything is visible in one place, which saves time and assists with audits.

I like how GoAnywhere MFT simplifies file transfer management, making automation easy so we don't have to depend on manual tasks or too many custom scripts. The platform is reliable, secure, and provides good visibility into ongoing jobs. It saves time, reduces errors, and overall makes daily operations much smoother and easier. It's a solid product that I find reliable and secure, with strong automation features that make file transfers easier to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the user interface as it feels a bit outdated compared to newer platforms. Troubleshooting can also take some time when workflows fail, since the logs are not always the easiest to interpret. It's a strong tool overall, but a more modern UI and simpler debugging experience would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use GoAnywhere MFT to automate secure file transfers, saving time and reducing errors. It replaces manual processes, improves visibility, and enhances security, making daily operations smoother and more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how GoAnywhere MFT makes automation easy. It saves a lot of time by removing manual work and reducing the need for custom scripts. The interface is simple to use, yet it offers strong security features, which makes it reliable for handling sensitive data. I also appreciate the centralized monitoring and reporting; it's really helpful to have a single place where we can track all file transfers, check logs, and quickly identify if something fails. The alerting system is also handy as it notifies us immediately if there's an issue. The way it integrates with APIs, cloud storage, and internal servers to move data between different environments is a great fit for our existing setup. It's a reliable and secure solution with strong automation capabilities, making day-to-day file transfers much easier. I would definitely recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that the UI feels a bit outdated and not always very intuitive. Also, troubleshooting can take some time when workflows fail, as the logs are not always super easy to understand. The initial setup was manageable but not exactly straightforward. There's a bit of a learning curve at the start, especially for new users, but once everything is set up, it runs quite smoothly.

GoAnywhere Workflows and APIs Simplify File Transfers and Integrations

  • April 08, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it reduces the need to build and maintain custom file transfer logic in applications. Instead of writing scripts for moving, encrypting, or transforming files, I can rely on GoAnywhere workflows and APIs to handle those steps. It supports common formats like JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI, which makes it easier to integrate with different systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The workflow setup is powerful but takes time to fully understand, especially when chaining multiple tasks together. Debugging is not always straightforward, and the interface could be more developer friendly when working across multiple projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In many projects, file transfers and data preparation add extra complexity to application code. With GoAnywhere, those responsibilities are handled outside the application layer using scheduled or event based workflows. This reduces code maintenance, improves reliability, and makes integrations easier to manage as systems evolve.

Standardized, Secure File Transfers with Strong Controls and Detailed Audit Logs

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I find most useful is how it standardizes security across all file transfers. Instead of relying on different tools, we can enforce encryption, access controls, and secure protocols like SFTP and HTTPS from one place. The system also keeps detailed records of user activity and transfer events, which makes it easier to review actions when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some effort to fine-tune security settings, especially when defining roles and permissions for different users. The interface works, but reviewing large volumes of activity logs can sometimes feel a bit slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One challenge we had was maintaining consistent security practices across different teams and systems. With GoAnywhere, transfers are encrypted both in transit and at rest, and everything is logged automatically. This helps reduce risk, improves traceability, and makes it easier to prepare for audits or compliance checks like GDPR or PCI DSS.
