Secure Transfers Made Easy, Needs UI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using GoAnywhere MFT for approximately one year, primarily to manage secure file transfers across our organization and with external partners. I appreciate its automation capabilities for file workflows and encryption of sensitive data, which ensure compliance with data protection regulations. The robust security features and automation capabilities were key factors in selecting GoAnywhere MFT over other options, as they replaced our previous manual processes and some disconnected tools effectively. The implementation process was straightforward and enabled us to quickly centralize our file transfer workflows. I find the ease of integration with existing systems, comprehensive security features, user and role management, and centralized management view to be extremely beneficial. Additionally, the ability to monitor different transfers from a single interface provides enhanced visibility and control across the organization. These features have significantly improved our efficiency and security.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user interface for configuring advanced automation tasks to be somewhat challenging. Although the platform is powerful, the more complex workflows and scripting features can become a bit technical and overwhelming for new users. I believe improving these aspects would simplify the learning curve for customers who are beginning to use the platform.

I like the extensive protocol support, including HTTPS, SFTP, and FTPS, which covers most secure file transfer requirements for both internal and external stakeholders.
The workflow automation capabilities are notable: triggers, scheduling, and reusable project templates streamline repetitive transfer tasks and reduce manual intervention.
Centralized administration, detailed audit logging, and compliance-ready encryption features make it suitable for organizations with strict regulatory requirements like HIPAA, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
The interface is intuitive, with drag-and-drop project design and a customizable dashboard that provides at-a-glance operational insights. While GoAnywhere MFT is generally easy to use, the documentation and help resources could be more comprehensive, especially for onboarding new users or for those looking to maximize advanced features.
I find that some options in the UI remain enabled even when not relevant to the current task, which can lead to confusion without careful attention to the notes and help sections

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform has replaced a patchwork of custom scripts, batch jobs, and disparate FTP tools with a single, secure, and auditable system.

GoAnywhere MFT is a lifesaver, automating all our secure file transfers without a hitch.
What do you like best about the product?
Those strong automation features of GoAnywhere MFT are quite attractive to me. It is easy to create complex workflow of arranging files to be regularly sent to our vendors and banks. Its integrative dashboard enables it to control all these connections with utmost ease. The extent to which we log is also amazing as far as our compliance is concerned. It aids us to effortlessly demonstrate that all files being sent or received were secure. This mixture is just a time and concern-saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up of truly sophisticated workflows in GoAnywhere MFT is somewhat cumbersome to start with. It certainly takes a certain amount of study time in order to learn all of its details. The system of licensing may also be a rather expensive investment particularly to small companies. The user interface is a bit outdated at times compared to the other tools. It is not a make or break, but a point of note.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to GoAnywhere MFT we had a disaster of manual processes and insecure practices to transfer files. We were dependent on risky FTP clients and sending confidential documents through email, and it was a massive risk to non-compliance. People were always afraid of transfer loss or breach of data. But today we have 100 percent automation of all our B2B file transfers, that are completely secure due to GoAnywhere MFT. There is full auditability and central control of everything. This implies that we do not get into trouble with fines and sleep well knowing that our data is always safe and delivered.
Amazing! Platform with Multiple Automation Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
The services of GoAnywhere are very good and reliable, providing us with an automation option to manage everything with effective solutions without encountering any errors in file transferring. Their cloud connector easily integrates with our server and application, helping us to transfer large files.
What do you dislike about the product?
All are working great, and the support team also has a responsive time for resolving any technical-related issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have provided us with a very important feature that allows us to connect our server with GoAnywhere very easily and transfer necessary files from one server to another without any failures. They manage all my work with a very effective resolution and systematic approach.
Translation of edi increases bot power.
What do you like best about the product?
For RPA developers, GoAnywhere's edi translation capability is fantastic. I don't need to write a lot of code to create bots that convert edi x12 files to json for our systems. My bots now communicate with legacy vendor systems thanks to the new Pesit capability, which is awesome. The scheduler is excellent; it allows me to trigger my bot transfers from other apps and performs them on a clock. Fips 140-2 encryption is used for sensitive data, and security is strict.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not perfect. It took me a day to map fields correctly because the edi setup is a little complicated. The interface is outdated and needs a makeover. Support is inconsistent; I once received a generic response that didn't resolve my problem. Some advanced features are more expensive, and the pricing is high for small teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was difficult to handle edi files because my bots required specialized scripts that frequently malfunctioned. I was able to automate it with GoAnywhere's translation tools, so I created a bot that takes only a few minutes to process vendor orders. My bots operate without my constant supervision thanks to the scheduler and API. It has reduced development time and greatly increased the dependability of our supply chain bots.

What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere is best due to its centralized server that helps me to automate and manage files transfer that supports almost all protocols like FTPS , SFTP that easily integrate to cloud services.

Advance automation and clustering learning is must for a new beginner as it is difficult for new person to start work on it.

Safe file transfers with GoAnywhere MFT
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to automate file transfers. The interface is very simple, and I don’t have to worry about security. It saves my lot of manual effort, time and worry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the reporting could be more comprehensive. It gives the basics, but I’d love to see more customized report options to track specific file transfer activities or stats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping us move secure data between teams and clients securely. Before this, i used to do it manually like send files, which was very risky. Now everything is encrypted, automated, and saves my a lot of time and efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
goanywhere mft’s The new cloud connectors from mft are great for RPA developers like me. It's really quick for me to connect bots to Google Drive and Salesforce without having to write my own scripts. The drag-and-drop workflow builder is great; it only took me minutes to set up file transfers with triggers. Strong security, like AES encryption, keeps the data my bots move safe. The browser interface is simple, and I can keep an eye on bot jobs from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud connectors are great, but they don't work with all of my apps, like Slack. When I have a lot of workflows going at once, the interface can lag, which makes testing take longer. Support is helpful, but they're slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was a mess when my bots had to use scripts that were hard to understand to move files between cloud apps before goanywhere. Plug-ins and workflows make it easy for me to automate tasks like backing up client data to drive. I made a bot that gets invoices from Salesforce and saves them in a secure folder. This saves hours of work that would have to be done by hand. It's made my RPA projects a lot safer and easier.

I like goanywhere mft because its really simple to use even if you are a beginner. You can just drag and drop files to upload or download them, which makes the whole process instant and easy.

Sometimes files transfers and uploads can be a bit slow or laggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its great for reliable and secure FTP connections. Uploading files to a web hosting server works really well and password login is smooth, consistent and works every time.
Efficient, Scalable, and User Friendly MFT Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature of this software is it's schedular as we are easily able to transfer our larger files at a configured scheduled time and internal it automatically runs at that time and processed our all the files if any error occus it provides a completely logs where we are able to track the cause of the issue also it support https and sftp protocol that helps in secure file transfer and data movement overall a reliable software that is fulfilling our all the requirements and making our process more efficient.

It provides a secure and stable platform that is helping us to manage stable platform and there are nothing to dislike with using this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving out problem to manual file transfer process data security and process delay. Earlier we had to write manul script and different tool that is very challenging tasks for us and time consuming process and hard to manage everything but with workflow automation and project designer that is helping us to automatic file transfer and the sheduler lets us run tasks at specific times, which keeps processes running smoothly even during off-hours. Audit Logs help us monitor every action for compliance and troubleshooting. We also use secure protocols like SFTP and FTPS to protect data during transfers. All of this has saved us a lot of time, reduced errors, and improved our overall file management process.
