Satisfaction with IBM App Connect
What do you like best about the product?
The pn-premise setup of API connect is very easy compared to Apigee. Also, API proxy development also has been made easier. The support provided by IBM team is 24x7 and try to solve the issue as soon as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some learning curve needed since some of the needs to be done manually.,Also has the development and transformation capability is not that great. The authentication features are no way near to CA API Management. The GUI needs improvement. And, above all its price is high compared to other services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company uses IBM App Connect for sharing business APIs to external consumers and other child and partner companies. Since it provides an integrated platform for running, creating and managing APIs all in secure manner. It also comes with built-in IBM App Connect Professional.This aids us in keeping track of data and maintaining security.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
IBM is one of the market leaders in Gartner's report.Any company that uses datapower as the gateway can integrate IBM Connect API to their ecosystem easily.It's better than its competitors hence expensive but worth every penny.

What do you like best about the product?
i have been working on IBM App Connect for 2-3 years , it's one of the efficient solution for making rapid business application using IBM App Connect , if you don't love to code very much and want to develop API ( Application Program Interface ) it's the best possible solution to you because using it you can easily able to develop application just by using event - driven work flow diagram , which has very easy user interface and very user friendly too , it provides you a brilliant dashboard from which you can navigate between different services very easily and interactively , the most important thing about the IBM App Connect is that you can very easily able to connect it with salesforce ! !
What do you dislike about the product?
the cost is little bit high and other than this everything is very helpful and useful ! !
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we use IBM App Connect as Enterprise Service Bus for our company ! !

it's one of the widely used application for rapid development of enterprise application and it very easily automates the redundant tasks , and especially it's very easy to use because you don't need code for any services in the IBM App Connect!!

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things that I like about IBM App connect because I have used it for a long time now.The best ones are its capability to scale up easily,transfer data between offline servers and clouds easily,use various integration methods to integrate the data from various sources and above all you can use all the data you have to convert them into a single sharing api.It also helps you access augmented intelligence which is the best thing about it.

I have nothing to dislike about ibm app connect.Found nothing bad about it since I have been using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ibm app connect at my company to solve the data related problems for my organization.Our organization mostly deals in cloud data and also has some basic offcloud data so we need a way to merge them all.Also we use app connect to transfer data between our clouds to easily facilitate the data.It is a great application to use for managing data.

I think ibm app connect because it helps you to manage your data sources and resources much easily so I recommend using it.It also has an option to get a free trial of the service so that you can test it before usage.It easily helps you integrate and transform data between servers and clouds.It also gives you a benefit of using micro-services at runtime so its worth a shot of using it if you want to ease your data management.

IBM App connect is a data service solution provided by ibm.It is the best service in this segment that I have used till now.I have very great experience in using this.There are many of its features which I like about it.One of it is that it helps you to create a api of the data and share it to the other organizations in a secured and controlled mannner. It helps you achieve a realtime data handling efficiency and apart from all this it also has an option to club more than one data source for api and sharing so I think this service is a great one.

I use ibm app connect to share the data collected by our cloud services to other organizations for their processing.Our company generates a large amount of data through its large number of clients.So in order to keep privacy of clients we share the data through ibm app connect by creating secured api through it.It is a really helpful resource for our organization.It has really made my work much simpler and easy.

I recommend using ibm app connect to securely share the data of your clients or organization to other organization with much ease.By integrating app connect with our data it helps us create a single api to share the data to other people.It is secured and also privacy is maintained.The main reason of recommending it is that it is a application developed by ibm and provides a great backup support for it and constantly keeps updating it.So I think its worth a try.

IBM App Connect is a innovation in the field of managing data,it is the service that enables the developers and organizations to bring all the data togather in one piece in order to utilize them more efficiently.It also supports a large number of styles for integrating all the data according to your need which is the thing,I think is best about ibm app connect.Furthur it also gives support of realtime data handling and giving more secured way to share the data to 3rd parties using api that is created by ibm app connect.

I at my company handle the data resources for the project managers and my role is to provide data required for their applications more efficiently,We get clients whose data is distributed among-st various platforms,now I use ibm app connect and gather all the data into one and then provide that to the project managers to work on.This reduces their efforts of converting and preprocessing the data as whole piece of data comes from a single source.

I recommend using IBM app connect for gathering data and integrating them into a single database.It helps you efficiently do that and by using various other services of integrating from app connect.The price is high so if your budget is there to bear the cost for handling data then only you should use it.Mostly such cost can be bared by large companies whose data handling is most required.So look at these things before subscribing.

IBM App Connect is used for exposing business APIs to external consumers and other partner applications in a secure manner. It provides an integrated platform for running, creating and managing APIs. The amount of tools that this software has is incredible, they ARE MANY and really they are too useful. It should be noted that this software is very "friendly" because it explains very carefully how it is handled and the use of its options and tools, so you will not have problems when carrying out one of your business projects through IBM App Connect. I can also say that with this software you will learn a lot because IBM App Connect gives you a lot of information so you can read and know many things that you did not know all this to facilitate your learning, knowledge and handling of this software.

I have some cost issues with app connect other than that its cool.Atleast as of now its fine and has no problems or bugs.

I use ibm app connect to integrate the data resources for particular projects because certain projects require the instantiate data behavior of the data resources worldwide,also sometimes we need to handle realtime data from more than one source with very less latency which can be achieved using ibm app connect,so we use ibm app connect at our office.

IBM App Connect allows you to integrate all of your business needs via a single platform. It allows you to bring together all of your data, build custom functions with the help of APIs to streamline the applications and create triggers for various events in the life cycle of application.

The development and the transformation capability is not so great. I believe IBM is looking to incorporate some of features of IBM App Connect into API Connect.
The authentications features are no way close to other tools like CA API Management

IBM is one of the market leaders in the Gartner's report. Since it uses Datapower as the gateway, an organization which uses DP as a gateway can easily integrate IBM API Connect to their ecosystem.

This tool has helped us to organise and manage our applications as well as the data. What do you like best about the product?
It is designed to connect several business applications in such a way that it synchronizes every bit of data coming from several apps in real-time. The UI/UX of the interface to manage applications is also great, the overall design makes it easy to operate and one can jump between various views as everything is accessible from the same page. It also allows to build APIs over the application and also provides cloud services for the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yes, it is one of the best tool available in it's domain but there are some issues that really matter and need to be improved like the costing is bit too high if you compare it with the competitors which provides similar services and also the team support is not up to the mark. Sometimes the response time is so much more that I wonder why am I paying this amount of money. They need to look on this particular issue.

We use IBM App Connect to merge all of our business applications and even some of our client's too. It depends on the demand of the client we sometimes also help them to setup their own different IBM App Connect account and help them to manage it.

This service is bit too high for small businesses but if you are working on large scale and have number of applications wo manage then this tool will for sure be helpful and will save huge amount of time which you else waste in management of large databases. If you have to manage a centralized data store this is the best option available in the market as it offers real-time updation and easy synchronization.

- It totally works in real-time, let it be one application or ten different applications sharing same datastore. it syncs through all of them without any issue. It is robust and handles everything very efficiently.
- The dashboard is too good, allows to manage multiple applications from the same page and also allows one to see stats of the resources used.
- The support is very good, for any issue IBM team respond you 24 * 7 and tries to solve the problem as soon as they can.
