Reliable and Cost Saving Resource Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
IBM Turbonomic works best in displaying patterns to the user of how the various systems or appplication are working. It gives detailed patterns of their work and one can easily make changes after running a simulation and seeing how well they can distribute their resources to ensure increased productivity of every system or application.
What do you dislike about the product?
IBM Turbonomic has delivered on its end and e are enjoying working with it. However, its price is high and cannot be managed by most companies. IBM Turbonomic should come up with different plans for different uses that will suit the company needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With IBM Turbonomic, there is great improvement in ho our systems are running. This is because IBM Turbonomic is key in how we distribute our resources across the company. Knowing how each component is working and how much is needed for the component to work better prevents time to time shutdown of our systems.

What do you like best about the product?
The supply chain view is great, the scaling recommendations and automation, and capacity planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
IWO doesn't have feature parity with CWOM and/or Turbonomics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workload placement and rightsizing in vsphere and aws.
Best Resource Management Tool That saves on Company Costs
What do you like best about the product?
Various performances of our platform and application have greatly been improved by use of IBM Turbonomic. Patterns are easily displayed and from the patterns one can easily know what is inhibitting performances and from a simulation you can view how resources will be distributed to increase performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other IBM products work well because of the great awareness that users have and the great support system. However, that is not the case for IBM Turbonomic as its outreach is low. A huge awereness should be made of the product theough advertisements and an effective support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With iBM Turbonomic, we have achived great resource allocation across all our system. Making sure that our network performance and other resources are managed effectively. We can easily monitor nearly all components and manage how resources will be distributed from one point to another.

The best thing about IBM Turbonomic is that it is AI powered which we can trust for application resource management. It is the only platform that provides actions which we can trust to automate.

So far all good. Nothing as such to dislike.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Turbonomic is the best in Resource Management to improve the performance of the Application, Productivity, and Automate the driven decisions at their best across the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of Product advertisement and awareness among the users for the better development and the support for the product was little less when compared to major IBM Products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Turbonomic even solves the Network Performance Management and AIOps solutions. It is also used for the application performance monitoring tool to manage the activities.

it optimize the use of resources and it automatically allocate resources to applications when user activity increases for optimal application performance

What do you like best about the product?
We can guarantee availability and performance of our platform, We can take better decisions about delivered information. Supports troubleshooting in the easy revision of virtual machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though it has a dashboard, it is important to be able to send reports by mail. It would be important to be able to have a multi-tenant service where you can give exclusive access to customers with another url and they can see certain servers or cluster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual load balancing is the biggest use we have with turbonomic and we now have the peace of mind to overcome times of high resource usage. also used with information for the acquisition of new infrastructure.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some dashboard are easy to use while others might take alot of time to understand and use thus it could maybe be helpful to provide more detailed information on all interfaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The application has enabled appropriate assigning of resources thus reducing cost of operations.

Easy way to manage cost
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use the tool how we can create different schedules for different set of vm and group and how it suggests us to apply the schedule to save costs
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much as of now not sure if this option is there if not there should be option to manage Azure SQL and other saas & paas services and it should also find out any unused disk again not sure if this options are already in place. And also have a option for auto vertical scaling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we solved is scheduling start stop of servers in Azure as the servers are used by different groups in different locations it was easy to group them and schedule start stop which helped us in cost saving
Park Everything
What do you like best about the product?
You can long term park an RDS instance or cluster without having to reset every week. You can see real time cost forecasts and check individual days usage to best set your schedule. The tools are all there to save money on your time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to see Amazon MQ charges or other things you cannot park but are part of an environment. It would be really nice if you could logically create an application template with all the parts that need to be parked together in one group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving money on all of our dev instances. We realized that we are also using too many instances in some of our clusters and compared usage versus instance size.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do you have a solution to park your RDS instances? If not you need one because it can be the highest cost of any cloud service.
