Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Base AMI is aptly suitable for our Amazon Fargate deployments
What do you like best about the product?
Microsoft Windows Server 2019 is fabulous when it comes to the virtualization of its Dynamic Memory. Its Server Message Block (SMB) protocol actively enhances the network acceleration capacity of our servers. It utilizes few CPU cycles when we transfer application data, and it's extremely fast while providing responses to various user requests from our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback that I notice is, the architecture of Microsoft Windows Server 2019 doesn't have a well-structured SDN. Due to this, when we migrate from one network contol plane to another, we face difficulties as it doesn't offer a practical centrally managed framework.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We deploy our Amazon Fargate instances in which Windows Server 2019 plays a vital role. Since its maximum RRAS connection is unlimited, we can establish all VPN connections without any licensing limitations. It's compatible with our .NET framework 4.7.1, which eliminates our compiler dependency issues even if we miss some installations or if it gets corrupted by the wrong device drivers.
