Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I was more than pleasantly surprised at the ease of setup with Esper. They provided clear provisioning methods, including a simple QR code method.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to more easily schedule tasks and app activity on provisioned devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a simple kisok solution for office music control.
Esper.io Review
What do you like best about the product?
Esper is a well-planned platform. It was extremely easy to jump-start and use it. Moreover, it met all our requirements which even we were unable to foresee. We looked nowhere else after seeing esper.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that we can dislike. The only feature we miss is: "Double-tap on devices to wake the device". Just now, we always need to use the power button to wake it. Android has a built-in feature of gestures to use Double-tap to wake the device. Probably Esper may also have it, but we could not locate it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Esper to control our Patient-Education-Tablets in our hospital. (We are an Eye-Care Hospital). As the tablets are in the hands of patients, we need to control their usage/misusages. After enrolling in Esper, we are worry-free about the safety of our devices.
feedback after a period of use Esper
What do you like best about the product?
Esper is very useful for managing remote devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, UX is still difficult to use for beginners. Sometimes, the remote control is still difficult, or the error is out of the device being controlled. Upgrade application often fails even though the remote viewer can still be accessed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- I use Esper to Manage Devices and Update Applications Remotely
- Esper is very convenient for device management

Esper is hidden gem in the MDM world.
What do you like best about the product?
Esper considers the little companies. The mdm solution they provide offers a lot of rich features to users who have less the 100 devices, for free. Even so the pricing is far more affordable than many counterparts on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to complain about, esper provides enough for my needs.
There are sometimes error's when using the provisioning tool to provision new devices which require's me to factory reset and retry with that device. However the Esper team is constantly improving and updating Esper, I'm sure in time their platform will continue to improve into an even better MDM solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to lockdown mobile the devices we use within our ops environments, it prevents staff from tampering with the devices. It also allows us to update our company app remotely on all devices at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It's free up to 100 devices! So far, they are the only MDM solution that I can find that offers such. It's a great system.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, works as advertised. With minor trial and error managed to set up a group of devices to do exactly what we needed. Support has always been helpful on the rare times it was needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a big fan of how the support forum is organized, but there is a lot of good information there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We built an offline version of one of our websites on tablets to reach rural commuities that do not have reliable internet access. Easy to add our content and to lock the tablets down against any unexpected use.
AS per the observation the product for android mobile management is very much enough

Need further to control any specific device to control in terms of desirable / enable device wise setting
WOW!
What do you like best about the product?
They used to have a free tier, that has come and gone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost has crept up quite a bit, remote viewing is charged extra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploying apps remotely and locking down devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the 100 devices free account to test if it works for you.
User Friendly but fully functional!
What do you like best about the product?
Esper allowed me to enroll and manage multiple occasional use devices easily. I watched a brief tutorial and was able to get my instance up and running almost exactly as I wanted on the first try. It lets me auto-install apps, control the store, manage when updates are applied, and enable kiosk mode!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could rename a device from the list view as well as the grid view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mass commission identical devices - apps, settings, and backgrounds - and lock to a specific app. The Esper settings app provided a convenient way to access and (limit access) to device-wide settings. Esper simplified a daunting project and has made management a breeze.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sign up for a trial and give it a whirl; I'm sure you'll find it's suitable for all your needs.
VERY GREAT JOB
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is just Perfect,
Starting from how devices are managed,
Reaching to how apps are deployed on devices
We use the KIOSK mode, Apps deployment, WiFi AP management and almost all other features

What do you dislike about the product?
It is not about disliking; it is about improvements,
adding a feature to update android os/security update from the console
more commands to be executed on the devices,
such as:
- lock/unlock screen
- launch a specific app without the help of kiosk mode

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is just the perfect solution
Esper is more than MDM solutions. With Esper, all devices are in our control. Esper saves our lives.
What do you like best about the product?
Esper's provisioning templates help a lot for the initial setup. Geofencing is such a fantastic feature for us. Google play control feature makes it a lot easier
What do you dislike about the product?
Factory reset step is needed for all provisioning methods. It's not comfortable for an old device with user data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralize control, content management through the cloud, geofencing, google play management. These features fit our rural development kiosk project target.
