What do you like best about the product?
Check Point Anti-Spam & Email Security is easy to implement and use. It also has a good ratio of detecting spam emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Emails that have non-English or unpopular website links can cause false positive detections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Check Point Anti-Spam & Email Security, we do not need to implement an additional email security gateway.

Featured and Sharp Blade for Mail Security

What do you like best about the product?
In distributed environments, this blade can be configured easily and satisfy mail security with traditional mail filters. Content filters are working pretty well, and as a security admin, you are free to configure with flexible settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sandboxing features could be improved to catch advanced mail attacks and compressed files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you have big infrastructure and have big data and network handling avaliablity of the services is struggling. Availability is pretty easy with the Check Point cause the products gives that confidence and can handle the stress while constantly working the features and engines.

What do you like best about the product?
High level of security as it pertains to our emai system.

I can't thing of anything at this time that i dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have benefitted from the overall process of security. It has solved an issue we had before using the company, which could have resulted in millions of dollars lost.

Best Security Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Before Avanan, we had no additional security for our and Email environment. Avanan was easily implemented and immediately start producing results with phising and malware hits. I like that, Avanan is easily protected environment and block phising and malware.
Avanan is easly to implementation and take less than 5 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It's work fine and if you need support for something, they will respond via email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avanan provide the best security for our Emails. Before implementation Avanan, we received lot's of malware and phising attack, but after implementation, Avanan protect the Email environment. Internal email within the company also scanned to ensure that they are not spam or malicious. It blocks emails that are malicious.

What do you like best about the product?
Great platform to prevent my client's sensitive personal information like social security number or any other the can be compromised and block any data leakage and shadow IT
What do you dislike about the product?
its not user friendly to scroll within the user pick box as well i experience incompatibility with Microsoft safe-links protection and lack of customization but thats what you get for simple set up
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
very easy integration, easy email tracking and search and is even useful in spotting compromised accounts by alerting on suspicious account activity it was the solution for our business and our clients personal information.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the protection this product gives us against hackers, malware, or ransomware. I also like how clearly it shows any events or alerts that the log server shows us

Noting to complain at this point doe that it gives us the security that we need now

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting, dashboards, and alerts are what we were looking for in a security product to protect our users from phishing and malware. Its auditing tool is what really helps us step up and be able to start in certification paths for our company such as ISO and NIST.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI does not work on Firefox browser, it seems to be made for Chromium and some of the features do not work on FF. The UI needs polishing and needs to be more organic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we aim to fix is having an email protection suite that will help us comply with certifications such as ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53 rev. 5. We have also been able to minimize the number of phishing attacks we have had in the last 6 months.

Easy to implement security solution for cloud emails

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of integration. Few clicks basically and the product is ready.
The defaults are very close to what most companies will need.
Managed to pick up things that Exchange could not.
What do you dislike about the product?
Poorly designed user scroll box.
Going back and forward clears the selected user for adding to a policy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primary concerns were phishing emails, especially custom targeted phishing emails to accounting and finance people.
Haven't had one since installing this add-on

What do you like best about the product?
We deployed Avanan primarily for Office 365 as Microsoft's filtering, even with their Advanced Thread Protection, was allowing far too many malicious emails through while blocking many legitimate emails. After Avanan deployment we get near zero malicious emails delivered and our help desk is no longer getting tickets to restore quarantined emails. One cool story in our Avanan trial was when a client had their email compromised and our users were being sent phishing emails. Avanan blocked the phishing emails and then after the client regained control of their mailbox Avanan allowed the follow up emails from the client warning us to not open the previous emails. I've had similar instances occur with other email security solutions in place and none has ever successfully blocked it like that.

We also have two Google Workspace environments protected by Avanan. It's great that we now have visibility of our environments in one solution. You can't have both Google Workspace accounts setup in one Avanan tenant but Avanan set us up with an MSP portal so each Google Workspace account is in its own Avanan tenant and alerts and stats roll up to the MSP portal for easy visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Avanan is not a traditional email gateway solution and augments Microsoft's filtering. You still need to do some tuning in Microsoft policy settings to avoid items being blocked by Microsoft after Avanan filtering. So there are sometimes cases where you have to check two places to find out what happened with an email.

Avanan also has some UI glitches in their latest UI release. The Mail Explorer will sometimes show results but as you tweak the search or go between pages the Mail Explorer results will sometimes stop showing. Usually refreshing the page will clear this up but it's a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After deploying Avanan we were able to cancel our ATP licensing which helped with cost savings. Our Help Desk used to get multiple tickets a week to check emails in quarantine and now they can focus on real issues. The system is largely set and forget and I only need to check the Avanan portal a couple times a month.
