Check Point Harmony Email and Collaboration offers online support and has tight integration with Microsoft. These are features we often use. Additionally, the deployment is feasible if you have completed some training and acquired hands-on experience. In general, it has good support.

There is a need for improvement in handling business email compromise. Additionally, technical support and the licensing model require enhancement.

I consider the pricing to be a bit expensive, similar to other solutions.

I recommend Check Point Harmony Email and Collaboration to all types of companies, from small businesses to enterprises. I would rate the overall solution as eight out of ten.
Enhanced email security with effective threat management and spam detection
What is our primary use case?
We were using Google Email earlier and wanted to move from Google to Microsoft. Knowing the vulnerability issues with Microsoft, we wanted a strong email security management system on top of Microsoft 365.
How has it helped my organization?
We aimed to enhance the server security perimeter due to previous vulnerabilities with Microsoft, ensuring a strong email security management system.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature is spam detection and phishing site prevention, which Microsoft couldn't catch, yet Check Point does. Additionally, the threat management database provides consistent updates.
What needs improvement?
Check Point should integrate with features available in Barracuda - like more advanced threat management.

The solution provided a big uplift in capabilities from the outgoing SEG platform.
The implementation was easy and straight forward and support did an amazing job in addressing any issues that we picked up on the way.
There were some limitations in shipping logs from HEC to our Security Event logging platform.
For the end user, we wanted the platform to enhance their cyber awareness through feedback and ease of collaboration.

The use cases include anti-spam and anti-phishing. We have Email Collaboration for the anti-spam solution and anti-phishing solution. It’s a very good platform because every day, we block about 1,000 to 5,000 batch emails with malware, spam, etc. So for our business, it’s very important to have this platform, this solution, because it helps us very well with all email.
What is most valuable?
I have only a few features, anti-spam, anti-phishing, and DLP for a use case. It’s a very good platform. I tried all the models, all the features in this platform, and it works very well.
What needs improvement?
The pricing could be improved, because when I first bought it, it was cheaper than it is now. And the first time, I had more features than the trial license. It’s more costly now, but I have fewer features.

I have been using it for about four years.

For the years we’ve worked with the product, we haven’t had downtime.

If the customer doesn’t have a fixed mistake in the platform, they need to escalate to Check Point. But I can escalate directly to Check Point for any support or consultation. So it’s very good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I tried Cisco. I tried with Office 365. Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration is a great solution compared to these other companies because it’s more intuitive. I can see attacks in real-time.
The solution blocks all the malware and phishing emails. The percent of failures is maybe 1%. So 99% of phishing, spam, or malware is blocked with the Harmony solution.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is easy. It is because it’s in the cloud. So we need to integrate Harmony with Microsoft Office 365, and it works. Maybe in three minutes to one hour, it works very well. We needed to make policies and collaborate with users, but it was very easy.
The implementation and the resolution took one test.
What about the implementation team?
We had two people, the customer and me, and maybe another person, but three people maximum is enough for the deployment process.
Maintenance is from Check Point. So we don’t need to do anything. It’s a great platform for maintenance. Check Point notifies us, so we need to do maintenance on the platform, and we’re okay with that. We’re good. We don’t need to do anything on the platform.

I recommend using this platform because it makes policies and email integrations with Office 365 very easy. You can integrate Microsoft Teams with Sharepoint and OneDrive, and you can protect these clouds.

What is our primary use case?
We use two solutions: Check Point Gateway and Harmony Email & Collaboration.
We primarily use it for IDS and threat protection, as well as VPN.
What is most valuable?
It's very easy to deploy with Microsoft Office 365.
The option to set a copy is beneficial. Additionally, the solution scans OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint content and provides a full report.
If I store any malicious file in my cloud storage, it will give me detailed information in the Check Point console, including which DLL is infected. That's a very useful feature.
I'm satisfied with the product as it is, especially regarding security.
What needs improvement?
The reporting could be improved. Also, the predefined workflows cannot be changed. It would be great to add custom workflows to better suit customer requirements.

I've been working with Check Point for the last four years. I perform day-to-day operational tasks with it.

It is scalable. There are around 300 end users.
It's a cloud-based SaaS application, so it doesn't need to be deployed in multiple locations. We integrated it with our existing email solution, and all our email traffic is routed through it.

I've worked with Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, and Barracuda Email Security.
The pros include quick implementation time and easy policy deployment. Security is also good, as Check Point provides multiple security engines and inline data security. As for cons, having the option for custom workflows would be a great improvement.
How was the initial setup?
I completed the initial setup in about 15 minutes, by myself. It was very easy. There's no need for improvement.
We share product white papers with our customers, understand customers' needs and current email infrastructure, and design a solution before pitching to them. We also create a project timeline for the POC and implementation.
It's easy to integrate, as it supports both cloud-based platforms, O365 and Google Workspace. If you have basic knowledge of your email platform, you can easily integrate the product.
Check Point takes care of the maintenance. It doesn't require any maintenance.
