Great tool to fight phishing

What do you like best about the product?
What I liked the most was the ease of deployment and integration with our email solution. Also the number of phishing emails we have received since deploying the solution is near to zero.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not dislike anything about the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were receiving a significant amount of spam targeting our executives. Also, since we need to comply with PCI, we can now identify and stop credit card information using email.

Integrates with Office365, strengthens security, and provides visibility

What is our primary use case?

Our company uses Office 365 and clearly, we use Outlook. We needed a tool that had the functionality to verify and validate the emails that enter and leave our organization. With this tool, we can solve security problems since many of the collaborators work from home. With this, we have decreased phishing attacks. It offers quite a few types of analysis and reporting that help to clear up security doubts and how to counter these gaps.

Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration is workload protection in the cloud. This firewall helps us provide controls on our organization's devices and has become our main tool in the analysis and coverage of the infrastructure and also maintains fairly reasonable scalability.

How has it helped my organization?

Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration has helped our company with perimeter security and securing our employees from wherever they are working. It's strengthening security as it is able to stop phishing attacks on Office 365 accounts and block possible account hijacking. It is also responsible for detecting malicious files in both OneDrive and SharePoint. This makes the product more robust and also gives us visibility into suspicious access, and provides the areas from which they are trying to enter. With this other feature, it provides more integrity to our company.

What is most valuable?

We have found several features that are very valuable. One of them is the integration with Office365. In addition to that, it is fast and has a very simple, easy integration. In addition to that, it integrates with other Office 365 products. The false positives are minimal, almost nil. That is very important since it will not generate an absurd amount of emails. The functionality of the tool is very easy to configure and manage. The platform is friendly and makes its integrations even more, so this tool is very efficient.

What needs improvement?

Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration presents a problem similar to the other Check Point tools that it was able to manage, and that is the access to its administrative functions. Since the portal to the management and administration entry sometimes has performance problems and takes a long time to respond to what has arrived, the handling of the tool is difficult. 

It presents problems in the management of technical support since the SLA is not optimal, causing delays. This means that security problems may arise since it does not provide a quick response or a concrete solution.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using it for approximately 4 years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The tool stability is very good.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability that the solution presents is very good. It is quite scalable.

How are customer service and support?

The experience has not been very pleasant since we have opened cases and they take too much time to respond or schedule a meeting even to provide a solution.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

There was no other solution implemented.

How was the initial setup?

The initial configuration was very simple and fast.

What about the implementation team?

During the implementation, the provider's team helped us, and it was very efficient; they knew what they were doing

What was our ROI?

The functionality that the tool presents with its characteristics and capabilities helped us a lot in our organization.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Like all security tools, they are expensive tools. However, Check Point competes in the market and its accessibility is good, so paying for a tool that provides security is worth it.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

The company has already had several Check Point tools. For this reason, this tool was implemented to keep in line with the same brand and hopefully not present us with problems if we implement another one.

What other advice do I have?

The only advice is to improve the technical support for your users since it is not very efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
Great protectiond offered against hackers, malwares, ransomwares etc.
In my opinion great product
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe just to simplify logs, not always easy to understand
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing our email flows against every type of threat there can be and in no time if compared with other competitors that i'm not quoting

What do you like best about the product?
I learned of Avanan and then found out Check Point purchased and is using their back end. This product is absolutely the best in the market and is partner friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike I have is that I have to purchase through Synnex or other resellers instead of direct. Service and Support have been excellent when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a crucial shield in front of our staff when it comes to protecting them from modern-day phishing attacks and BEC attacks. I would feel less safe without this in our environment today.

Email security that doesn't cause hair loss

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the interface: everything is where you'd expect it to be and all of the options make sense. I am fine with "learning a new system" when necessary but I don't want to spend hours each day fumbling with a convoluted mess of a system trying to figure out how to do simple tasks. Check Point Harmony Email and Office has been a breeze to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
As is the case with most top tier solutions, you'll spend top tier prices to obtain and use them. There also doesn't appear (unless it's hidden) to be a way to only license specified accounts so basically anybody in your tenant that is licensed will consume a seat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We came from using Mimecast previously and found that solution to be an absolute nightmare to manage. It did 100% what we needed it to do but it also demanded a TON of our time just to manage and maintain. There were days when I felt like I should just change my title to "Mimecast Administrator" with how much time I'd spend in their UI trying to do simple tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a simple platform that you can use as an administration. Due to check point, aims security first, it is same in cloud environment as well. It has unique threat prevention to assets. And most of the things are automated as far as experienced. Multi layer cloud security is also one of the best future to detect strange and suspicious activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think license prices are expensive but I believe it is because it entered market fresh. and the other thing is, a lot of bug may occur I think R&D team will work harder on it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like this product that checkpoint harmony Email because the product can protect hackers
such as malware, ransomware phishing. I like the advanced visibility of the events and alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that I wouldn't say I like the console and alerts. I want it to be easy to understand from the log.
That can resolve the attacker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my company, it is integrated email on the cloud as Office365. Use for more a lot of email and hard to monitor the log. Now try to use Harmony Email protection. I think that easy to manage our email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Suppose you find the solution to email protection—I suggestion about this product, Harmony, for protecting hackers and phishing.

My experiense with Cloudguard SaaS

What do you like best about the product?
Th best i have experienced with the solution is, integration method they have used. Incase of securing our emails, for every other solutions I need to have at least few minutes of downtime. In Cloud guard SaaS, that was completely removed.

Not only downtime, but also the integration method is too simple to use.

Also it can scan the existing email boxes for malwares and phishing.

The best solution with them, but no one ever has with the email security is Identity theft protection, it helps me a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
It also have number of difficulties inside it.

1. If I am having a O365 mail domain with abc.com, for alert i get email from noreply@abc.com by default, I didn't configure the email address and I don't have any privilege to change the email address. I need to depend on support team.

2. I can find many details in weekly report. but to find the same details I need to create custom queries in my console. Eg: in my weekly report I have no. of logins with respect to countries, but in console I need to create custom queries. For beginners it is a difficult task also the admin need to create custom queries for nearly every details he finds in the weekly report.

3. Speaking of custom query I cant download the report if it have more than 10,000 entry.

4. Locally transmitting mails are not scanning. Eg: in my Organization if I have 2 groups with 2 different policies, Group A is with alert mode and Group B is with prevent mode. If both A and B receives a malicious mail from internet, it scans and generates alert, but if a guy from Group A send the mail to a guy in Group B, the mail policy will not apply and prevent the mail, it simply allows to him and he gets affected without creating any alert at least.

5. Need for depending on Checkpoint support team is quite more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to secure my O365 suite. I get complete visibility of threats in my mail boxes.

Initially, no. of users are consistently compromised, but using identity theft protection, I have completely over come that using this solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would be better, to scan and alert forwarding or sending mails inside the domain.

Kindly include as much as features available in weekly report also in the console. Don't make the admin to depend on the custom queries.

Make the Admin only to depend support team for troubleshooting.
