Great orchestration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to orchestrate a difficult pipeline using Astro with ease, the availability of abundant operators helped a lot in making the pipeline a successful one.
What do you dislike about the product?
New workspace creation was a large process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Leveraging operators to integrate and customize the connection of other tools to perform the Analytics problems.

What do you like best about the product?
Best in class orchestration tool with the best in UI interface.
Astro taken the Big data to next level.latest feature provide DAG linage.having tons of library which makes the developer job much easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
Cost transparency need to enhanced and LOG tracking will also need some improvisation. POD errors are sometime headache. COSOMS library can have guided docs some places we are in lack of read me files,.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps to build the lineage with minimal effor which incur helps to reduces the developers cost. Also it helps to make the developer to be more productive by spending the time in best in class tools.

- Since it is in Python , easy for developers to write a code and deploy it.

I don't really have much negative to say.

Mostly not having to manage the infrastructure

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it is a SaaS lets our team focus on the coding side; it is quite simple to start using Airflow as you can skip all the initial setups. This is particularly useful for those teams that started using Python and are more distant from the infra side (i.e. data Scientists, analysts, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that the monitoring dashboard is not rich enough in all circumstances so that we can fully understand possible issues there. For instance, there is no option for accessing KubernetesPod settings alongside our cloud account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has become a powerful resource in the team to quickly deploy Python scripts, being our use cases mainly focused on ETL pipelines. It is also easy for us to provide a workspace to other teams so that they can run their scripts easily too.

What do you like best about the product?
Astronomer has transformed my data pipeline journey as a software engineer. Its intuitive interface and drag-and-drop functionality make designing and troubleshooting Airflow DAGs a breeze. Real-time visualization offers quick insights into DAG runs, enhancing monitoring. Collaborative features and scalability seal the deal, making it a must-have tool for managing projects of any size.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Astronomer is a game-changer, there's room for growth. New users might face a slight learning curve despite the user-friendly interface. Expanding the range of pre-built operators would add flexibility. Although the documentation is decent, more detailed guides, especially for advanced features, would be a welcome addition. Overall, refinement in these areas would enhance the experience even more.

Simplifies complex DAG management, provides real-time monitoring and visualization, help us collaborate and do version control, make the growing workloads scalable, and make troubleshooting and debugging more efficient

What do you like best about the product?
It is quite intuitive and easy to use. Much simpler than the previous company system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like metrics in Astronomer since you cannot use a custom time range and the aggregations are often misleading. I am also looking forward to scale to zero. There were also some issues that we are trying to sort out.

We don't have to care about the underlying architecture under Airflow very much.
Very easy way to run Airflow
What do you like best about the product?
The Astro CLI is definitely the thing I find the most useful. It enables you to get started with Airflow in a very simple manner without having to go through the complicated setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that the cost model has you try to run as few tasks as possible since the pricing is done task based... This means that you have to go against best practices if you don't want to run out of tasks sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doing ETL and orchestrating data pipelines. We use Astronomer for all extractions and anything that needs to be custom made. It enables us to get started very quickly without needing to deploy anything.
