Fast idea to final product and much room to grow
What do you like best about the product?
With OutSystems, we can take applications from the initial idea stage all the way to production-ready deployment much faster than with traditional technologies. Creating impressive user interfaces is possible with just a few clicks. At the same time, we are also able to handle complex back-office logic, whether directly within OutSystems or by leveraging options like C# extensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
OutSystems shows potential for growth in certain areas, such as providing better visibility into security issues and enabling integration with existing tools and methods to achieve strong application security. Furthermore, when working on more complex projects, managing the increasing complexity can be challenging. For instance, the inability to create subfolders makes it harder to organize and control project complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems enables us to address our customers' challenges quickly and efficiently, allowing them to achieve business impact more rapidly and effectively.
My experience is mostly great. With OutSystems you can create outstanding applications.
What do you like best about the product?
This platform offers high-performance, low-code solutions designed for enterprise applications where reliability is crucial. It is fast, scalable, and built to be futureproof.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is fast, easy to use, and adaptable to specific needs, making it well-suited for enterprise environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Legacy applications have been transformed into state-of-the-art modern applications.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like its intuitive and user friendly interface. I’ve been developing with Outsystems for only about two weeks and in those two weeks I’ve found to have developed quite a lot of skills. If it weren’t for its intuitiveness I would probably struggle quite a bit. I feel powered to do application seamlessly while applying my technical background.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app lacks integrated AI features that could assist with development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast development. Building apps with little to no code. I enjoy UI/UX more :)

Building with outsystems is like magic! Especially with the new features, you can build it almost as fast as you can think it

The documentation is sometimes too over my head

It made it possible for me to become a developer without an IT background. I doo not need to know how to code.

The publishing process is slow, and the tool does not handle complex scenarios effectively.

Billing system in aviation. Helps me develop what business needs really fast.
First it feels strange, then it becomes ingrained.

The investment in the license only proves viable and profitable when applied to medium to large-scale projects.

These are internal websites designed to help manage various previously paper-based workflows. They provide a centralized way to handle and organize different processes that would otherwise require physical paperwork.

It is very intuitive and fast way to develop and deploy applications.

That is very company centered. A person or small business applications would be a plus.
