OutSystems is paving the AI Agentic Future
What do you like best about the product?
I've been working with the OutSystems Platform for the last 19 years, and one thing they consistently pursued: To remove complexity from the entire Software Development Lifecycle. Things have just gotten AMAZINGLY better now with their AI initiatives, especially OutSystems Mentor and OutSystems Agent Workbench. If you work for a large enterprise, and you are not looking to bring Agentic AI to your business, you will be smashed by the competition that will soon adopt it... Go Fast or Go Home!
What do you dislike about the product?
The truly exceptional OutSystems Partners are not easy to find, so my suggestion is to look for experience, instead of size. Partners like Digital Alchimia in Brazil, with a team of over 19 years of experience, can really make all the difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Besides all the speed on building critical core & scalable solutions, the way they are bringing AI to the game, especially for the Agentic AI part, is just amazing. Agentic AI with governance, with security in place, so everything that a large enterprise is looking for now.
Great overall, needs polish.
What do you like best about the product?
1. It turns ideas into secure, scalable apps fast through visual development, with scaffolding, and solid DevOps/lifecycle built in.
2. End-to-end platform: data, logic, UI, and CI/CD in one place with strong integrations, reuse, and governance.
3. Reactive web/mobile, reusable patterns, and tooling let teams ship enterprise features in days, not months.
4. New AI features are easy to understand and use.
Overall: reduces the time of implementation and allows focusing on the challenge we try to solve.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Licensing/runtime costs climb at scale, making small or experimental apps harder to justify.
2. The real learning curve is architecture and governance at scale; teams ship fast but can accrue debt without guardrails.
3. No automated testing is missing, which leads to full end-to-end coverage needing extra tooling and effort.
4. ODC is a very dark black box. It lacks transparency, explainability, and auditing features. Great tools like the ODC Agent Workbench are not capable of shining because of this.

OutSystems compresses the full SDLC, so we turn backlog into working, secure apps much faster with fewer handoffs and bugs.
It solves slow, fragmented delivery by unifying integrations, scaffolding CRUD and patterns, and giving us governance out of the box, which shortens time-to-value and raises quality.
It accelerates legacy modernization: we can wrap/replace customers old systems with APIs and reactive UIs without big-bang rewrites, reducing risk while improving UX and maintainability.
It addresses the full-stack talent gap; visual dev and reusable modules let a small customer team ship enterprise features while senior devs focus on architecture and guardrails.
It tames integration sprawl with connectors and data modeling, so services are consistent, errors are handled centrally, and maintenance overhead drops.
It enables safe AI adoption, so we move POCs to production with governance, auditability, and real business impact. It shortens the sales-to-delivery process.
It standardizes delivery (pipelines, environments, and reviews) so releases are predictable, compliance is easier, and outages tied to manual steps are reduced.
It boosts reuse across apps (blocks, libraries, Forge components), letting us deliver features to customers once and scale them everywhere, saving both time and budget.

Powerful Tool for Projects, Easy to Integrate
What do you like best about the product?
I love the intuitive nature of OutSystems, which makes it simple from the start. The platform's design is perfect for those comfortable with technical development, providing a smooth transition from coding to a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface. OutSystems' well-defined layers make it easy to build and scale enterprise solutions. I appreciate its straightforward setup and the ability to quickly begin creating stable applications with effective UI. Integrating with various platforms like Azure and Google Cloud is seamless. I'm a big fan and would definitely recommend it with a 10 out of 10 rating.
What do you dislike about the product?
OutSystems is gradually embracing AI-powered capabilities, but there is still room for growth. I see potential for OutSystems to further develop AI features, which could help advance its position as a leader not only in low-code but also in agentic architecture tools. But again, OutSystems is already on his way and doing a very good job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems helps me automate tasks with strong UI and stable server processes, providing simplicity in project execution and personal developments.
OutSystems 2025 Review: Powerful Low-Code Platform for Rapid Enterprise App Development
What do you like best about the product?
What users like best about OutSystems is its ease of use and robust application design capabilities, which allow for rapid development of enterprise apps with intuitive drag-and-drop tools and customizable templates. The ability to extend UI and programming code, along with excellent workflow and data management features, makes building complex solutions fast and straightforward. OutSystems also stands out for its AI-assisted development and strong deployment options, supporting both web and mobile platforms efficiently
What do you dislike about the product?
Some common dislikes about OutSystems are its steep learning curve due to heavy reliance on visual coding, which can be more complex than expected for those from a traditional development background. Users also mention challenges with CSS maintenance, version control integration, and higher licensing costs, especially for larger projects or organizations. Additionally, deploying on non-Windows servers or customizing infrastructure can be limited compared to other platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems solves the problem of slow, complex software development cycles by enabling rapid visual app creation, reducing the need for extensive hand-coding and allowing both technical and semi-technical team members to contribute effectively. This boosts productivity and helps organizations deliver applications faster, improving their ability to respond quickly to market changes and business needs. As a result, companies benefit from reduced development costs, greater agility, and easier maintenance of complex solutions.
Accelerating Application Delivery with Flexibility and Control
What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems makes it incredibly easy to build and deploy enterprise-grade applications at speed. The low-code approach allows both technical and non-technical teams to collaborate seamlessly, reducing delivery timelines without compromising on scalability. I particularly like the visual development environment and built-in integrations, which cut down repetitive work. The platform also provides strong governance, version control, and security features that give confidence for mission-critical projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
While OutSystems is powerful, the initial learning curve can be steep for developers who come from traditional coding backgrounds. Some advanced customization still requires coding, which may surprise teams expecting purely drag-and-drop. Licensing and scaling costs can also add up quickly for larger organizations, making it less accessible for smaller teams with tight budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems has helped us address the challenge of delivering applications faster without sacrificing quality. Previously, development cycles were lengthy, with frequent bottlenecks around integrations and UI consistency. With OutSystems, we can rapidly prototype, iterate, and release applications, which has significantly reduced our time-to-market. The platform also helps in modernizing legacy systems by connecting them with newer digital solutions, ensuring business continuity while still innovating. This has resulted in improved team productivity, reduced technical debt, and faster response to business needs.

Outsystems: Accelerate your business apps
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very robust without compromising on customisation or pixel-perfect. It is also developer-oriented: it facilitates all steps of the application lifecycle from a technical and management point of view, unifying the tasks involved in development and ensuring optimal technical quality with its own tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest concern with Outsystems is the new platform, ODC. There is no clear plan to migrate to the new platform. In fact the company itself has announced that they are going to give up on their idea to stop supporting OS11, as the new platform is not yet ready to support all the functionalities that we already have and work perfectly on OS11.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, Outsystems allows us to mitigate a big gap that exists in our company: The adaptability to new requirements in a business-demanding way. It is common for our businesses to have to adapt to new requirements due to changes in the environment, regulations or market environments, and therefore they need a sufficiently flexible solution that favours time-to-market.

What do you dislike about the product?
OutSystems' pricing can be prohibitive, especially for smaller businesses or individual developers. The base price often doesn't cover a full enterprise application, and costs are typically geared toward larger organizations, making it challenging for smaller applications to justify the expense.
while the large budget project can only afford the OutSystems technology.
On the other hand, the support for developers is somewhat limited within the community itself. for the IOS application it is somehow lacking the completed development functionality.
