What do you like best about the product?

It is an enterprise level firewall at less than an enterprise cost. I would put them next to Cisco or Juniper any day. They are functional, reliable, quick, and the support from Barracuda is second to NONE.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing. I mean they could cost less, but you get what you pay for at the end of the day and when you are protecting a company from people doing things they shouldn't have to do, cost starts to become not as relevant.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is securing internet access for our whole agency. We use small firewalls at small facilities to build VPN tunnels back to the main facility. The original problem it solved was an inherent ACL in a Cisco ASA that I needed around for a specific purpose and Cisco was unwilling to do anything to make it work. Barracuda, I could do it out of the box... and that was the old X series firewalls. The cloudgens are light years ahead of them when they stopped making the X's.

What do you like best about the product?

Its automation feature is very impressive. Integration in the cloud is very easy. Central management system with deep threat protection.

What do you dislike about the product?

All the things are nice features are also good, but it is costly. and the learning curve is steep.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cybersecurity. Packet tracing and log monitoring. Threat detection.

What do you like best about the product?

I find Barracuda CloudGen Firewall valuable for monitoring and controlling our network traffic. The technical support is always top notch and available, which really helps us. The initial setup was very easy, making it straightforward right from the start.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think an improvement could have to do with having some sort of log review by AI to determine if there are issues with the firewalls that are not being seen with the monitor.

Barracuda CloudGen Firewall provides a single portal for firewall protection information and supports the monitoring and controlling of our network traffic.

2. Separate management and data plane.
3. SDWAN feature with TINA Tunnel

1. Frequent software update causing service inconsistency.
2. Complex Configuration for new users.

1. Branch to Central Side connectivity dependency on the pure MPLS based Technology to use of Any broadband connectivity for Site to Site SDWAN VPN tunnel.
2. Simplified management for Enterprise grade network infra.

What do you like best about the product?

1. Advanced Security features(IPS, Web Filtering, antimalware) along with SDWAN.
2. Cetralized Management(Seperate data and management plane)
3. VPN, SDWAN along with its own TINA VPN tunnel has added advantages.

What do you dislike about the product?

1. Licencing and subscription model quite expensive.
2. Bugs on SDWAN features with friquent software update for bug fixing seems inconsistent.
3. Initial configuration seems quite complicated.

1. Branch to Central side connectivity made easy by using any broadband connection rather than depending on traditional MPLS based connectivity.
2. Clear visibiltiy of the traffic on each firewall.
3. Centralized management using controller helps efficient management.

The best thing I like about the Barracuda Cloud Native SASE is the zero trust network access, integrated secure gateway.

What do you dislike about the product?

There is nothing particular that I dislike about it.

Barracuda has provide different advanced features such as strong Threat Intelligence, secure access control as well as firewall protection for your organizations. Also it is provide user friendly dashboard for the management purposes. Additionally the customer support also the best.

When talk about the pricing, it is little bit increasing apart from the similar products in the market.

It mitigate the different type of malware, ransomware and phishing attacks. and given the user friendly and centralized management system. then user can easily manage , control the policies and monitor the system. and also given the smooth integration and easy scale.

Compare to other competitor product, barracuda is cost cost effective, but small business want SD-WAN and security features subscription model expensive.

What do you like best about the product?

There were a few moments where I had to dive deep into the user manuals or reach out to customer support. A bit more intuitive design or additional tutorials on these features would enhance the experience.

Barracuda Cloud-Native SASE has been a valuable addition to our cybersecurity toolkit. Its strengths in security and user experience outweigh the minor drawbacks I've encountered. I would recommend it to companies looking for a reliable SASE solution that prioritizes security and ease of management.
