Detailed vulnerability scanner for web applications with OWASP guuidelines..!!
What do you like best about the product?
The application reports are detailed and very efficient scanning operations with the application, the user interface is very friendly and easy to get to, the application features are sufficient enough to perform almost all of the relevant vulnerabilities with respect to the OWASP application top guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application is very helpful for vulnerabillty assessment and penetration testing and also very efficient with the scan results and accurate to some level, but many a times false positive results are produced which needs to be identified and alerted to the application team before implementation, especially when uninstalling any vulnerable components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acunetix was helpful in finding and resolving vulnerabilities and testing of the vulnerabilities, the application results are useful and very informative for the mitigation needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The experience with the acunetix vulnerability scanner was great for easy understanding of application issues and the resolution of the so found vulnerabilities in time, the added features are very lucrative and reliable for manual scanning of application too.

What do you like best about the product?
Acunetix Online Network Security Scanner is one of the best automated web and web application able to use both developers, pen testers and auditors as well. It's very user friendly to use with dashboard features for technically inclined and non-technically inclined users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very perfect tool, only the thing is licensing cost is high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily manage the schedule daily, weekly or monthly scans of targets where checks the vulnerabilities in our web, web based systems, cloud infrastructure as well. Using Acunetix Online Network Security Scanner it allows to generate different types and user category reports.

The reports of the tool scans are very informative and quality, keeping the application for scanning is also very easy just by entering the accessible application url onto the scan section and then the tool scans automatically for the vulnerabilities, the acunetix tool covers almost all the vulnerabilities in the given web application according to the OWASP security guidelines, the results are very helpful in assessment of the application security.

The application is very helpful is vulnerability assessment of web applications only, and also sometimes false positive vulnerabilities are generated by scan results, these vulnerabilities need to be carefully tested for its true existence.

Licences cost is high with all activated features.

Personally, I am using Acunetix now for more than 6 years. It is very easy to manage, create new targets and easily start automatic scans. In our organization, we are using for testing our in-house developments and audit the customer applications.

Acunetix provide great client support, exceptionally wise reports (particularly Developer report), great defenselessness the board. Web interface must improve it will be great for user interaction.
