What do you like best about the product?
We have real-time visibility into crucial tech metrics, empowering us to make informed decisions in our product development processes. The data we now possess can be directly correlated with revenue impact. Setting up and configuring it is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, I can't identify any aspects to dislike. We are happy with the tool just as it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having complete visibility into our tech data has provided our leadership team with a clearer understanding of our efforts and direction. The reports are the best feature of Hivel.

There were a few dislikes for the bugs a few months ago, but they have disappeared, leaving great customer satisfaction.

It has reduced lots of report generations and gives a single-click visualization of the metrics meeting user expectations

What I liked best about Hivel is its ability to provide deep insights into our software development process. The standout feature for me is the cockpit, which offers a clear, concise view of key metrics. It helps us assess our organization's performance against specific goals. No more digging through complex data; it's all right there at a glance.
The weekly and monthly activity breakdown was another feature that I found to be quite useful. With this, I could get detailed information about team activity at each level. This granularity could be invaluable for optimizing our workflow.

What do you dislike about the product?
As with any platform, there's room for improvement - specifically would like to see an improvement in the productivity metrics for QA engineers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Hivel, a lot of our productivity assessments were based on general observations. Now, we can use Hivel to track the daily activity of our engineers and developers. Precisely, we can check the number of commits, lines of code, PRs merged, number of reviews, etc.
The automated AI-generated insights on team and individual performance are invaluable. The best part is that they're unbiased and data-driven, allowing us to identify our team’s strengths and weaknesses to improve our overall productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
Hivel is one stop shop for all development metrics. The GUI is very intuitive and the graphs are amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially we had some data issues with hivel but team was helpful in getting the issues sorted out quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
Hivel helps us with insights for our tech and engineering leads in our company. They spot areas of improvement that can be done in our current software engineering practices. We use the no-code integration and look at the progress and commits through their dashboard

Would love to see support for individual developers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our engineering leads monitor the activity through Slack (channel integration). We maintain some metrics (sprint cycle, deployment frequency) and ensure that there's a healthy software development practice in place.
Excellent product for getting engineering insights and building with high velocity
What do you like best about the product?
Our organizational planning discussions improved significantly with clear visibility for the alignment of resources to initiatives and projects. Our speed of execution improved by at least 1.3 times faster for requirements to release time frames. Highly recommend Hivel for organizations focusing on engineering efficiency and moving towards profitability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meetings information needs integration into utilization metrics. Waiting for the release, It is nice that we are part of this feature build, and our input is being embedded into the product.

Hivel opens up doors for deep insights into an area where we are flying blind, creates a culture for measurement and progress with extremely relevant info & paves the way for a high-velocity execution.
Drastically improve productivity with the right insights
What do you like best about the product?
The product is intuitive & very easy to use. As an engineering manager, it helps me capture project and team-level insights quickly on a single screen, which is very helpful. I've been using it to coach my teams on areas of improvement like code reviews, and to report engineering performance to management. I also use the platform to see where the teams are spending their effort and track if that's aligned with business goals. This ensures timely course correction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike at this point. I'm able to get all the relavant information from Hivel and therefore I dont see any negative points about the application as it is well crafted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hivel has made it easier for me to communicate with my engineering team and with the management team in the most effective way. I have more data to make sound decisions, and I am also able to have better conversations with the team to improve their velocity. Having the right data removes the subjective conversations, giving more clarity to everybody in the conversation.

Hivel provides clear visibility in the different aspects of development. What I specifically appreicate is its ability to highlight challenges which may be different from team to team.

Would love for Hivel to provide API access at some point.

What do you like best about the product?
As an engineering manager, a good amount of time is spent trying to gain visibility into problems in the process to help unblock devs. Equally, engineering operations are a distraction for our team and myself, trying to prepare for our meetings in a more objective way.
Hivel really saves a lot of time for me, my analytics teams, scrum teams and engineers pulling up reports right out of the box.

Yet to find something to dislike, but they have an amazing support team who’s not only ready to answer questions, but sends mini nuggets of insights which comes really handy

We lacked visibility into engineering teams, processes, and relied on manual, reactive approaches to data. Hivel saves time, has great UI/UX, has easy to use dashboards and insights, which led to elevated developer experience.
