Helps understand engineering velocity and performance
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hivel frequently to find insights into how the teams are performing in terms of speed, quality, and throughput. The dashboards are useful in uncovering trends and realizing where to focus on. The team has been supportive enough in any issues encountered and the multiple integrations with GIT, Jira, Sonarqube is really comprehensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now, interested to see the features they release.

What do you like best about the product?
Hivel provides visibility into speed, quality, and throughput of the teams and helps understand where the blockers are. Along with this it provides actionable insights which help us take decisions related to our business priorities.

Ability to set up custom alerts on the metrics and thresholds.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the realtime data it shows from Git and Jira and helps us easily identify any bottlenecks in terms of coding time, code reviews or merges. I personally liked the Activity screen where we can see the frequency and size of code changes done by the developers. Also the pull request screen where we can see the details of all PRs merged by us and understand the blockers.

While Hivel provides a lot of integrations, more integrations can increase its value.

Enabling engineering productivity through metrics
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to use analytics tool where we can get insights and visibility into developer productivity. Its ability to combine data from different sources to show useful metrics is impressive. I especially like the part where we can see sprint wise data from Jira and understand how much coding work was being done in the sprints. Only Jira or Git do not have this capability.

Not a deal breaker, but comparison against industry benchmark is not readily available for all metrics

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hivel every week now and it has helped me and my team to understand our delivery speed and quality. It has been helpful to present progress visibility to leadership as well. The metrics and insights are very easy to consume and view.

No major painpoints as of now, everything working fine ...

Good metrics and features. Leadership knows what they are doing and the support has been phenomenal throughout. The platform is easy to use and derive insights from. Love the AI features they have built.

Sometimes 1 day earlier data does not show up.

What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to use and the metrics are very helpful. We use Hivel to give visibility to leaders and prepare reports. The Hivel team has been really helpful, whenever we face any issues they are quick to help us. They have definitely been one of the highlights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the user experience can be improved a little bit because sometimes similar functionalities behave differently, but not a major concern, just an improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Hivel for a few months now on a weekly basis, and it has truly helped the way I manage KPIs and leverage data. It integrates easily into our workflow, providing insights and actionable metrics that have been instrumental in driving engineering team's performance.
