Impressed by the simplicity and insightful metrics
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and UI is very intuitive. Their metrics are very relevant and it is helpful for me to track my productivity. I was able to integrate my various tools quickly.

There's not much, they can improve on UX

They provide useful insights and metrics to realize developer productivity. Helps me in my analysis of my performance.
Next level visibility into Engineering metrics
What do you like best about the product?
The metrics are really insightful easy to consume. We have been using Hivel almost every week and their customer support is very responsive in any issues we face. Found the features really helpful for insights into our engineering teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such as of now. I can get all the metrics that my team requires.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are providing insights into engineering efficiency and productivity and this helps to keep our engineering teams on track and develop better.

I am finding it very useful and efficient in my day to day responsibilities. It has been so insightful so far and it's UI is easy to use.

We were relying on Excel sheets and ad-hoc 1:1s to get a pulse check on our engineering organization. There was no single source of trust to understand if
- our engineering priorities were aligned with the business objectives,
- are we working at the correct pace,
- where are our current bottlenecks,
- is someone in the team burning out or needs help?
This resulted in reduced productivity, missed deadlines, and affected our bottom line.

Great tool for measuring engineering productivity
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive and UI/UX is seamless. I can visualize metrics quickly on a single screen without much back and forth. The Cockpit screen has been particularly helpful in seeing the bigger picture of the entire org's performance on a single screen and comparing the performance of teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
More integrations with Meetings' tools would help. We are told that is coming up on the product roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In remote teams it becomes important to see how each team member is performing and contributing to a feature release and Hivel helps with that. It also saves us time during scrum calls.
Hivel doesn’t dump you with features list but provides concentrated productivity tools.

Code Quality and Testing: Hivel offers features to analyze code quality, automate testing processes, and ensure a high standard of code development.
Great product with excellent insights - maturing quickly

Hivel is easy to use has an excellent UI and is catching up in the Engineering metrics space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Hivel product is a newer entrant to the space and has some maturing to do to catch up to the encumbants.

We ended up going in a different direction and are not a Hivel customer today.

Review engineering team productivity in an effective and smart way
What do you like best about the product?
Hivel provide perfect insights about team productivity. When you are handling large engineering team it will always a tedious task to understand the work load and tickets individual team members handling. However, integrating Hivel with GitHub has made this task much more manageable by providing seamless insights into the work being handled by different teams. I find the D3 graph charts generated by Hivel to represent the data in a very intuitive and visually appealing manner, which makes it easier for me to understand the productivity of the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. But, I would like to have a feature that will send productivity reports to your inbox on a weekly basis. This will allow you to easily view high level insights into the work being handled by your team. The reports to include information such as the number of tickets closed, the number of pull requests merged, and any other metrics that you would like to track.
