Helps make release validation quicker

  • September 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to keep our UI in alignment and ensure no regressions in functionality across releases makes it easier for us to be confident in our deployment cadence and keep things moving at a fast pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were a little more stable or tolerable of some external API outtages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that our UI/UX is still performant as we launch new features and that we don't regress anywhere.

"Checkly: Test Smarter, Monitor Better"

  • August 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Checkly is its "monitoring-as-code" approach, which fits perfectly into modern CI/CD workflows. The ability to write API and browser checks in JavaScript/TypeScript using Playwright, commit them to Git, and run them globally is a game-changer. It feels like an extension of your development process—not a separate tool you have to babysit.

The integration with Playwright is especially powerful—it allows for deep browser-based testing with rich artifacts like screenshots, traces, and console logs. Checkly also makes alerting simple and flexible with Slack, email, and webhook support, so you always know when something breaks.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Checkly is powerful, there are a few areas where it could improve. The pricing tiers can feel a bit rigid—especially for growing teams that fall between the limits of Starter and Team plans. More flexible or usage-based billing would be helpful.

Also, while the Playwright integration is great, the learning curve can be steep for teams new to writing tests in code. Some advanced features could use more in-depth documentation or examples.

Lastly, data residency options are limited. For teams with strict compliance needs (especially in the EU), having more control over where monitoring data is stored would be a big plus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The result is faster issue detection, better visibility into production performance, and higher confidence in deploymentsall with less manual effort.

I used chekly for api testing.

  • July 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I integrated some api with Checkly. One thing I like about Checkly is that they send alerts directly to your mobile through sms if our build fails. And they are giving us the option to hit api from a different location, so we can verify how much time our api will take.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there are any complex api, or chaning scenarios or negative scenarios there we have to write everything in code in dashboard we dont have support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Api is hitting from different location and schedule from dashboard, that was helpfull.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to set up, categorise, integrate with e.g. Slack, etc, fast customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides that I've found! Perhaps I wish the status page was available on the Team plan - but the public dashboard suffices for us anyways. We're very happy with it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checkly gives us confidence that our APIs are up and working smoothly from across the globe.

Really good but needs some omp

  • May 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It starts off friendly, especially with the free tier. But once you scale up more checks, shorter intervals teams the price can grow fast. If you're a solo dev or early-stage project, it feels like you're being charged for every breath your app takes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the docs feel half-explained, especially when you're diving into more advanced stuff like alerting logic or integrating with custom setups. I had to piece things together by trial and error sometimes, and that's always annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes kinda ya

Checkly Delivers Confidence in Every Deployment

  • May 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Checkly's integration with our CI/CD process, particularly with Vercel, is really seamless. It enables us to automatically run crucial end-to-end checks, making us sure that our production deploys are in working order. The UI is minimalistic, and configuring checks for essential user flows is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The primary limitation is the rigid usage quotas, which don't allow us to execute our entire suite of tests on each branch or staging deployment. It would be more useful if there were flexible tiers or extra test runs to enable more thorough pre-production testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checkly allows us to automatically test that our most critical user flows are functioning properly before we deploy to production. Because our test coverage is not very extensive at the unit level, having these browser checks in place provides us with good functional coverage. It saves time, keeps crippling bugs from going live, and provides our team with a sense of security with each deploy.
