General security without any faff
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to connect, it gives meaningful alerts and integrate well with our tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
We miss more in-depth analysis for some standards like SOC or PCI-DSS, IaaC review and more IDE integration

Aikido does a great job filtering out the noise you get by the standard scanners out there.
They bundle a bunch of scanning techniques into their offering makes it quite effortless to check the security of our entire stack.

What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up from scratch would be easier of bulk actions were support in the UI.
It would also be great to set it up from code instead of clicking about in the interface.

It centralizes all findings which gives a good general overview of our security posture.
It also makes suggestions and auto-ignores irrelevant findings, making it more efficient than the other tools out there.

What do you like best about the product?
Aikido is very easy to implement, in less then 10 minutes we had our first report.
The reports are very to the point while mentioning all the necessary information so our devs can easily plan and update the system.
We contacted support for one minor issue and got a reply in less then 4hours.
Today we use Aikido at least once a week to check if there are any new improvements to be made.

Price is higher then I would like it to be.

Aikido provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring and managing security issues across source code, dependencies, containers, and infrastructure. It’s incredibly easy to set up, and their customer support is highly responsive via Slack. Our engineering team relies on Aikido daily to triage new potential threats, and its integration with Linear helps streamline our development process.

The user interface is becoming somewhat complex and requires some time to get accustomed to.

Aikido has significantly enhanced our security posture by providing a unified platform to manage and mitigate risks, ultimately saving time and reducing friction in our development pipeline.

Once you go beyond the actions you might need a lot clicks to find what you want. It's getting better every month.

Replaces many tools and has a good reporting that is filtered.

What do you like best about the product?
Aikido is a highly scalable and easy to use solution, which aggregates multiple controls in one place and integrates seamlessly with IDEs and CI/CD pipelines. The support team is responsive and made quick adjustments in our environment. Additionally, it efficiently filters out obvious false positive alerts, which saved us many MD.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only disadvantage I see is that SSO is available only in the Pro plan. As a security solution which well understands the benefits of SSO, it's a pity that it's not available to all (paid) plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aggregates a lot of security controls under the one interface.

The UI/UX of Aikido Security is amazing, making it one of the very few tools on the market that does not require a lot of reading to integrate and use!

I think sometimes the pricing model could be confusing but they are improving.

Everything related to Application Security! From code, to cloud and runtime.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the unintrusiveness of their service. It's a webapp where you register your code, container, IaC,... repositories and they scan them regularly pointing out the issues they found via statical analysis. There's integration to easily/automatically create follow up actions (tickets) aso. The app is great, you get up and running quite quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Aikido Security also provides an estimate of how much work (fe "about 1h") it takes to fix a particular issue. I don't know where they got them, but they might as well don't do this as these estimates are completely unreliable.
- The automated triage (severity) follows CVE closely, which is rather detached from reality.
- The automatic ignore kicks in if there's no fix available. I'm not sure that's what you want.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a company, you cannot just tell a customer: "Trust me, our code/setup/... is secure, we know what we're doing". It doesn't matter if it's actually secure or not; you need an external source that can corroborate your statement.

The ease of use and the fact that we don't need to scan on our side, third party libraries in to ensure that the project is secure

This could be streamlined to save time for users who need to manage multiple tasks quickly.
