Simpplr is a great product, very easy to use!

What do you like best about the product?
The team at simpplr were always super helpful, always replying to emails as soon as they saw them. The product is very easy to use, only requiring a little bit of exploring and tinkering to get the hang of it. It's great how you can easily promote content for all employees to see to the home page
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Simpplr had been more transparent about the features not available from the start, mainly those advertised but not yet implemented in the AWS product compared to the salesforce product. There are also some minor features that should be available but aren't, and it seems they need a little more testing for the AWS product (but again, for very minor things)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a lot of issues with too many documents in emails, meaning employees have to spend too much time searching for a specific document they may not even have. Simpplr has helped with file management as well as global collaboration. We have offices in 8 locations, with many employees having no idea about others in different offices and it is great being able to see a name, picture and share resources with people around the world.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy functionality; no IT required to get regular company updates out to the masses. User-friendly and mobile-friendly. The support at Simpplr has been top notch any time we've had issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were more mobile friendly on the admin side of things, meaning admins had the ability to post updates or issue alerts from mobile devices, not just laptops or ipads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate in five states. This platform allows us to virtually connect employees in all locations and make them feel like one team - because they are. Simpplr is integral in our internal communications strategy and vital to fostering employee engagement. It also allows us the ability to reach employees who typically were unreachable because they work in manufacturing and don't have a company email. With this platform, we can alert them in real-time to any schedule impacts, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr has a wide range of features that make it easy for communicators to build a site architecture that works best for them, while segmenting audiences and reaching who they need for targeted comms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Simpplr's most advanced features like the premier newsletter tool and Leadercast video are only available as add-ons for added cost. This has led our team to find other, cheaper solutions that meet our needs, although we wish we could use these tools for an integrated approach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With change as the only constant at our young and fast-evolving company, Simpplr is acting as our employee's first stop to find the information they need and the most up-to-date content from the company.

Simpplr makes internal communications easy, straightforward for former journalist

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is a straightforward, direct method for delivering content here at Lozier. Articles, photos, video, I've used it to share all kinds of stories. It's an easy-to-use and navigate website, with customizable pages and efficient article layouts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to complain about, but I've found from time to time that error messages within the program are often too generic to tell a user what the problem might be. Working with Simpplr to fix an issue is great, but it's nice to know if it's a problem I'm causing before turning to the experts and using their time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr has become our primary point-of-contact for distributing information throughout the company, be it HR, corporate announcements, anniversaries, health, and any other happenings. Giving employees a one-stop-shop for their information ensures more people see and share the content.

We launched our first-ever intranet a year ago; we love Simpplr!

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr has a few features that differentiated them from the competitors; namely the content validation, which prompts authors to validate their content every x number of months to ensure our intranet content is always up to date. Since launching, we've had on average 95% of our company log in on a monthly basis, and I regularly hear in meetings how much folks love our intranet. We were able to brand (both in colors, logos and the name) our intranet instance, and it's become a vital piece of our employer brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features of Simpplrs that are priced as add-ons that we are not using. I'm really excited about new features coming, but I wish more of them were built into their existing pricing model vs. add ons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we launched Simpplr, we were looking to create one central place for employees to go for information about our company. We previously directed people to google docs and confluence, which we found difficult to keep updated, and difficult to navigate. Simpplr has allowed us to use our intranet as our digital HQ, now that our employees are remote and dispersed across the country.

Easy Breezy Intranet

What do you like best about the product?
I love the WYSIWYG of it all. and I love the eLearning and Knowledge Base. I also like the handoffs from one team to the other during the production to maintenance mode. Efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to mix and match external links with internal links on tiles as well as on the newsletter.
I'd love Accordions if at all possible in page layout. More features to the page layout in general would be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Love the alerts feature and the ability to communicate to the entire organization instantly. Thursday morning, for example, I sent out an alert that our CEO would appear on CNBC's Closing Bell at 2:10pm CT.
Later, I was walking through space on another floor and heard our people talking about it, making plans to watch. Needless to say, the breakrooms were packed at 2:10. Awesome!

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the search functionality and the news feed that shows latest and most popular content. I also think the event calendar is very useful for encouraging awareness and attendance at events. The clean layout is also visually appealing and makes it easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The homepage could have additional functionality to make it more customizable as some people find it too busy/cluttered. Also would love the ability to reward people for comments or have a built-in game or recognition system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is not only helping to connect our employees while working remotely or at virtual locations, but puts our strategy and business planning content front and centre for people to read/review and understand. It also encourages people to stay "in the loop" about what's going on thanks to the homepage and notifications.

What do you like best about the product?
There are several benefits of utilizing Simpplr as a platform. The first benefit is the powerful search capability! No matter how you configure your sites, the content is easily found with keyword searches. The second benefit is how it allows users from across our entire organization to contribute and add useful content. And lastly, the fact that content is auto-governing after selected timeframes to ensure all the content stays fresh is amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
The file management system is a bit clunky - I would really love to be able to point to a central repository with all the uploaded documents in one spot (versus on each site). Additionally, I'd like some deeper navigation when it comes to the drop down menu options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SImpplr has allowed us to move away from a heavy email culture to one where content is being served up to those who need it on-demand. Instead of content living in peoples inboxes, it is available on the universal platform that all employees can access.

Great Employee Experience Using Simpplr

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Simpplr as a solution. I manage our intranet along with small team, and it's so easy for us to collaborate on bringing the latest news to our employees--and, to also help people connect in a virtual space on commentary on recent news or even just social posts. Page, event, and album options allow us to maximize our internal communications to help everyone stay informed on events happening in their local office or, for those who are virtual employees (or prefer to stay virtual especially during the pandemic), what virtual or blended events we have coming up and ways they can stay connected. A great solutoin especially when considering a post-pandemic EX strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only dislike that the enhancements requested don't appear magically once submitted. But! The team is amazing and whatever enhancements we've suggested so far have been implemented in the next version (or the version thereafter based on where they are with the build). So, just a lesson on patience and slightly delayed gratification on my side really.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr is helping us as our company scales to support our booming employee population. We are continue to grow as the leader in the BSM (Business Spend Management) space and Simpplr is helping AllOfUs at Coupa stay afloat of all the goings-on (whether they prefer something more business-oriented or something more social) no matter where they are. The system is easy to use, so it's simple to train someone else on the team how to utilize its built-in features. As for end users (the employees), the format is easy to use as it's a search engine and social media structure rolled into one--very intuitive to use, no matter your tech savviness level.
