A perfect fit for our technological ecosystem

  • April 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr's native Salesforce application and integration with Box makes it a perfect fit for our technological ecosystem. The knowledge management features make it a trivial task to create and disseminate documentation on core processes in a way that's super accessible for end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the future I look forward to more options for customizing pages using custom HTML, CSS, and JS. That said, they have a steady and robust roadmap of new features, so I'm excited to see what's next!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documenting core processes and keep that documentation relevant and visible has been a challenge at every company I have worked in. Simpplr's user friendly UI makes it easy for our users to navigate finding the information they need, and having a native Salesforce application means most users never have to leave their single browser tab.

Great solution for a growing enterprise company.

What do you like best about the product?
Best features for us are the scalability of the platform, the ability to create and publish content quickly, and the customization for our team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration issues with apps like Slack, and lack of effective polling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a platform that could grow with us, and one that included the latest social and web-based features that our team members were accustomed to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Simpplr is effective as a platform that combines the best of social, wiki, and traditional internet design.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

User friendly and easy to manage

  • April 09, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr provides a very user friendly experience. I am a manager for many sites and using, navigating and updating the platform is quick and easy - from adding pages to modifying dashboards to adding images.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were possible to clone pages that have already been created!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
People in my company were previously unable to find a lot of important information. Our file storage system was hard to search and didn't present information in a clear and clean way - Simpplr accomplishes this.

Perfect intranet platform for sharing Salesforce-centric information.

  • April 08, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love that it is integrated with Chatter and that the security model translates directly to intranet set. It is very, very easy to publish articles and collaborate. Also, like that integrates directly with our DMS - BOX. Search features are good and the site portals coincide with Chatter groups so this is hugely powerful. Intranets notoriously fail (start with great intentions and huge amount of consideration), but we have been able to keep ours going on this platform for 3 years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really - it really is simpplr and meets our reqs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Adoption has increased
Business process adoption has increased.

Adopting Simpplr in a short period of time while maximizing impact

  • April 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
From an administrative perspective, it is easy to layout sites and organize content.
Love the social connection aspect and helping to bring the global team together.
The most beneficial aspect is being able to share our CEO messages in close to real time. Teams are feeling informed.
The G-Drive integration has been helpful for most people although some have been slow to adopt because they do not want to connect their drive to a third party.
The integration has gone well thanks to the help of our CSM Joseph. He's been great to work with and quick to help, especially over the holiday season while we were scrambling to have the platform ready by Jan. 1 due to our previous intranet contract expiring. Not only quick to help but knowledgeable and willing to go back to his development team to try and get additions that were not included but we would like.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to post content as someone else at moment of publish, rather than publishing and then changing the author. I also don't like that I can't send a page/blog as an email without using the newsletter feature- would like to be able to hit an email button right from the post itself.
We've struggled with polling as it appears we can only post polls in the feed, which means only followers of the poster will see the poll. We'd like to be able to post a company-wide poll that is not contingent on the feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing a global company under one roof with the latest information. Adoption has been somewhat slow but has picked up recently with the COVID outbreak. People are using the site to get critical info.
Our previous intranet had become a dumping ground for company docs and was only being used when people needed to find certain information. We are slowly getting adoption up through timely, relevant and engaging content. This means more usage of video content, which has been a popular feature.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is definitely a great intranet tool to use. Allow yourself plenty of time to work out a contract- Simpplr was willing to work with us but some of the back and forth can take some time. We had to rush to get things launched in less . than a month. 3-4 months to integrate would be more ideal for a splashy launch to employees.

Intuitive product with quick implementation.

  • March 18, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best is the search engine feature that helps workers to find sites with the information they need. This encourages them to incorporate more search enhancement tags. I have also liked integration with the active directory framework, which helps users to extract information time to create new users from a move already underway to increase productivity and avoid difficult work. New web pages can also be easily developed and adapted.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one bad thing is that they tend to be too trendy to follow people like a social media site using Hashtags in blog posts. You only have access while you are in the workplace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One important element is straightforward and efficient communication, which can gradually eradicate the syndrome of "Don't know what happens." Simpplr helps us by making contact democratic and linking workers and departments with this precisely. We sure see a change in the link with employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With a easy user interface for content owners and staff, Simpplr has a number of capabilities. It simplifies the dynamic environment of employee dedication and internal communication which is otherwise considered.

Very intuitive and innovative platform.

  • March 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is an intuitive, transparent interface that can set up and manage people with limited technical knowledge. It is a functional area, which is vital for a remote team and people want to engage within.
What do you dislike about the product?
This would be more appropriate to say I am excited about the prospect of adding new features and functionality to encourage more interactive content. I don't hate the platform, but look forward to more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication and dedication. Employees consider certain knowledge and interactions that draw them more than by email to communicate with one another.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When talking about features, please ask any question in full detail. I would encourage you to make sure your needs are met. I love things, the cover / landing page, layout of the web and how the search bar works when clicking at a document or a link or page. I will also suggest to consider how your pictures will be received. This was a little frustrating because our marketing team had little time to develop photos. I'd suggest to explore color schemes, logos and pictures in advance.

A digital workspace we can be proud of

  • March 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love the over tile-based UI, the interactiveness, the discoverability, and the incredible search that never disappoints. Thank you for taking our company's intranet from 2005 - 2025. Also, the customer success team (Mimi and Joe) were friendly and with us every step of the way. Come to think of it, we had a great experience with the sales rep who sold it to us (Sandi Stretch!). It was a journey to get here but we are so glad we did it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Mobile app (the iPhone app specifically) had a few crashes, log in issues early on. Luckily, the support we received from our technical lead Joe was responsive and effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Boosting communications and collaboration across our 22 global offices. Also, overall replacing our current intranet which was brimming with static, outdated content. Also - making the most important documents/policies easy to find! This one seems small but it is SO critical for a company growing at the rate we do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you find an internal person at your company who will 100% own the intranet as a full time job - it's a game changer!

A Great Social Intranet

  • March 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to interact with people from across the organization. Also like the ability to include information from departments and locations that all employees can access, as well as lock down specific areas for specific user groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was more newsletter functionality, but it seems to be getting better with every release.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting rid of outdated content and keeping content fresh.

Simpplr a collaborative with amazing newsletter capabilities

  • March 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The newsletter capabilities is great! The ability to build tailored newsletters is a real plus and the feature really comes to life with the analytics provided to see the engagement within the organization. Joe and Mimi have been our contacts at Simpplr and have really held our hand throughout the process to ensure our implementation was a success! Thank you!
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations are a weak point at the moment, we leverage tools from the Atlassian suite and Google suite. The ability to have richer integration with these products would really help and make that one stop shop experience we are striving towards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to get to the information you are interested in quickly through Simpplr search capabilities. Employee engagement through newsletters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For a platform that will promote employee engagement and provide the insights to see how people in your organization are interacting with the information I can highly recommend Simpplr.
