A modern digital workspace
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clean and modern, the search function is smart and powerful, and the implementation team - Joseph and Mimi - were fantastic to work with
What do you dislike about the product?
URLs are a bit lengthy and cannot be customized to reflect our company's domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting our global workforce.
Great platform, great team
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is incredibly intuitive, user-friendly, and has an attractive UI. The implementation process was smooth and our Simpplr team, Joe and Mimi, were great to work with and helpful throughout.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been some bugs when following releases, but Joe and his team have been responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr is helping to unite our global company across the globe to be more in tune with corporate initiatives, news, and more.
Great, out-of-box solution for social intranet
What do you like best about the product?
Getting our existing intranet migrated to Simpplr was pretty painless! The platform is easy to use and our implementation experts, Joseph and Mimi, really made the whole process seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is relatively young, so there are a few advanced features that we didn't see opposed to their competition. I will say, every request we've escalated, Simpplr has put into action, so I think we'll see that functionality in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DRASTICALLY reduced clutter. The search is great, organization is simple and effective, and it's a really attractive platform which makes you want to use it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great, out-of-the-box solution for those looking to get something implemented FAST!
Great tool! Still needs some development but overall love the platform!
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the platform. It was easy to get our people engaged on it as it felt like a facebook or linkedin platform that most were already familiar with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is much more limited than the web browser. A lot of our people are utilizing the tool on their phones and it would be nice to have the same functionalities in the app as you do in the web browser. Additionally, we would love to have Intsagram linked to our home page versus Facebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to engage our colleagues across the company - both in our warehouse type of work, office work and those that are remote. It helps us keep up to date with what we are doing without becoming silo'd in our own areas. Overall, loving the engagement!
Good communication and support!
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is very intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with google was not as simple as originally discussed, but there were some work arounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to keep all information in one spot that employees can easily access and update the company with any news and/or important changes.
Top notch intranet software.
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is very easy to set up and manage. My favorite feature is the Dynamic Organizational Chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really only one feature that I think needs to be re-tooled and that's the "not useful", flag on content. I understand the intent behind it however, I think it should be worded differently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr allowed us to update our outdated Intranet platform and allowed our staff to be more engaged outside of the office.
Effective employee dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
It's an intuitive, simple platform that allows people with basic technological experience to set up and navigate. It is a functional space that people want to engage within, which is important for a remote team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that I am excited about the potential to add more features and functionality to support more dynamic content. I don't dislike anything about the platform but do look forward to increased functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a remote organization that places significant importance in creating meaningful connections among our employees. We have only had the platform in place for a couple of months but feedback so far has been positive and encouraging. Simpplr has given us a home for sharing important information, and building our community internally.
Our Company Hub
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr’s intranet, branded the Hub, is a great place to find up to date documents and stay informed on company news. It’s easy to use, responsive, and always up-to-date.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more of the company could align on this single employee portal. It’s great to have one place for our critical information. I wish we had it set up for sales materials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Simpplr, we had various places for information: Box, Salesforce, Sharepoint, and others. We are a rapidly growing company so it's important that we can find company information in one spot. Now we have one knowledge interface that is easy to use and looks cleaner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The name says it all. It is simple!
It is the only way that everyone receives the company's latest news.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and I like it because it stimulates participation. Provide an invaluable mobile experience. Can download attractive images, copies, videos and more. It offers my teammates a friendly site and helps my business to motivate, connect and inform staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
The group was always open to me when I had a problem. Updates are very simple and software is still developing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to connect people visually smartly and attractively enhances the power of internal communications to improve the company's culture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ultimately, the process of integration and implementation provided excellent guidance and support.
The "Rocket Scientist Not Required" Intranet!
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy setup and ongoing administration. This application does not require in-depth technical knowledge to administrate and by empowering "super users" in each department the IS team spends very little time working on this application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The help portal. I would really like to see Simpplr have their guides, instructions, etc. set up as Sites that I could enable in my own environment. Instead, I have to go find the information on their help portal (the search does not work nearly as well as the search in the application), copy the information, and then create my own piece of content in my environment for my users. I'd also like to see short training videos added so I could give those to my users. Since the help portal is cumbersome I usually end up emailing support and that works well.
There are also some quality of life changes I would like to see Simpplr implement like some controls around the auto-populated related content on each page.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using shared drives, email, etc. to keep all our documentation and notifications and it was definitely not working well. We tried implementing Sharepoint but that was insanely IT administration heavy and cumbersome for the users.
Since implementing Simpplr we've not only seen a reduction in redundant emails for documentation, we've also see an increase in the documentation being created. Users really are getting the idea that the more they document in Simpplr the fewer times they get interrupted for the same question. We're also seeing greater engagement between departments as we set up a "Family" site where we encourage employees to interact with each other and that helps breakdown misconceptions between departments.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Choose Simpplr. I've done Administration work and User Training on other intranet solutions and nothing has been easier to implement, train users, and maintain than Simpplr.
Implement in waves. I started by splitting our company into three groups (by department) to make the project easier to manage.
Designate at least 2 site managers per site.
Make EVERY person in your organization attend a hands-on training to submit content and then make sure EVERY person in your organization has at least one piece of content they are responsible for creating. This has a HUGE benefit on adoption and engagement. Simpplr will probably suggest that you have your Site Managers create all the content but instead I had every person in our organization create one piece of content (even if they were copying and pasting from a word doc) and even the Simpplr team is impressed with our adoption and content creation levels in the 2 months since go-live.
