Best Intranet I’ve ever used
What do you like best about the product?
The system seems to know my role and interest areas. It does a good job presenting information that is valuable to me and hides irrelevant news.
This is the first intranet I’ve ever seen that looks nice. I’m so used to intranets being text heavy and having 1990s-style html.
This is the first intranet I’ve ever seen that looks nice. I’m so used to intranets being text heavy and having 1990s-style html.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. This thing just works--it’s easy to search and it’s really intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The intranet helps me understand what departments across the company are focusing on and helps show how strategic initiatives fit together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try & encourage users to test it out.
Everything really is simpler with Simpplr!
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to create content. Can launch a brand new, good looking intranet in a matter of weeks. Our employees love it so far (about three months post-launch)
What do you dislike about the product?
Content creation and configuration is a bit rigid. Not as many options to customize look/feel as we would have hoped. But, the benefit here is that it keeps all sites within our Simpplr intranet consistent and easy to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have tried to keep our employees more "in the know" with exciting news and events happening across our many internal brands. We have also tried to limit the number of email updates being sent, but adding more content on our new intranet. Simpplr has significantly helped us achieve above.
Super easy to manage SalesForce Intranet!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it’s built on the trusted platform of SalesForce. It makes it easy to administer as I am already familiar with SFDC and the in app management is very user friendly. The mobile app is also very easy to set-up and our team can have access to all the content and contacts on the go. We love the Box.com integration too!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that some of the reporting functionality and analytics can only be accessed by the administrator using SalesForce functionality and isn’t in the UI for the team to run reports in the app itself. The analytics get better with each release but do need improving to get more usable data in app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to create a beautiful and easy to manage intranet that our teams can access from anywhere on any device! From an IT perspective we wanted a tool that anyone can create content with, we only need to set-up users on the back end and our teams can all build content and share information in a way that is connected and integrated with our existing environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easy to set up and create pages and sites.
Wonderful way to connect our company together!
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to create and manage content in a way that is far more visual and engaging than other systems. It integrates with our other systems and the integration with Box.com makes it simple to share information without duplication. Our teams working in the field have an easy way to get key company information without searching endlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use the newsletter feature a lot. It is a great way to curate content and send it out to our team but it isn’t always able to bring the right visuals into email and it can be laborious create content that is used just for the newsletter. It's difficult to integrate calendar invites with Outlook and Workplace by Facebook, we duplicate these invites in 3 places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team members are working from multiple locations and often are focused on client projects. We needed a way to share company information that was visual, easy to access and curate what is most important to each person so they can always stay caught up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Simpplr is easy to administer and create pages efficiently.
Great way to communicate important resources to my company!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to create an event or page in just minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like having to go to the code view to input my widget, before you could just embed the widget code right into the content field and the video or Powerpoint slide deck would just appear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great way to direct team members to resources quickly by having site pages setup for each department, and to communicate upcoming company events through the newsletter.
This is the best intranet! I’ve seen many . . . .
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is very easy to use and administer. I don’t have to train employee users or site managers to use the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s hard to be critical of Simpplr. This is 6th intranet I’ve worked with and it’s by far the best solution I’ve ever used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr helps employees expand their personal networks within our company. I really believe that an employee’s network highly correlates to their performance. It’s not just easier to find experts or people when you have a challenge, employees come to Simpplr to connect on affinity groups at a personal level. They’re using the tool make friends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My Simpplr experience opened my eyes to previous experiences. We got in our own way with IT and frivolous workflows. We had Simpplr installed in a couple days and then it was on my team to add content. That’s all. Our technical resources scoped months to stand up an alternative. Previous intranets took me years. This absolutely is a better way!
Easy to use Intranet that creates a beautiful experience for users with access from any device.
What do you like best about the product?
I had been looking for an affordable, easy to manage and use intranet in the Salesforce app store for a long time and then there was Simpplr! It's easy for my IT team, it's easy for our content creators and it creates an engaging beautiful experience for our users. I love how we can share key content with our teams and they can have easy access to key resources, org charts and team contact info in the palm of their hands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our teams were a little overwhelmed with having yet another platform. As Simpplr deepens integrations this will get better. We had to establish guidelines to help our team members know when to use email, when to use Simpplr, when to use Box (although the Box.com integration is very slick!) and when to us other tools (chat, collaborations tools, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to currate the most critical information in an easy to navigate way. The powerful search functionality make it's easy to find information and the clean UI makes it visually pleasing and engaging.
Simpplr is Instagram for the workplace
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is like LinkedIn and Instagram had a baby and that baby insisted on being a business app. I know we’re not supposed to be social at work, but my favorite part is watching videos and photos that employees uploaded. Okay, maybe that isn’t the most productive use of my time but it does draw me to the site and get me to read my CEO’s weekly missives.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like more emoticons. I’m joking, they actually have many.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think this app actually improves our culture a great bit. The 5 stars are sincere. In the old days we’d go to the water cooler to get to know our coworkers. Now we’re at the water cooler asking if people have seen that new video on our Hub. So site helps fuel that connection with a virtual water coolers across the company.
