Easy to Use, Easy to Manage
What do you like best about the product?
Simple in its interface and does produce visually pleasing pages. Users of all levels can create and update content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to customise some features. One example is we would like to add additional fields to Documents fr tracking and qa purposes, can not be done like that of Salesforce objects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool for internal communication, social interaction and displaying and broadcasting company policies. Simpplr fits the bill here
Native Salesforce intranet that is easy to use and implement
What do you like best about the product?
Given that we're in Australia we were initially concerned with the time zone challenges, however, the Simpplr team were really organised and the implementation ran really smoothly. From kick off to go live we were up and running within 6 weeks and required minimal admin support outside of Simpplr’s team.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the platform is native to Salesforce, the site feeds are full of Chatter posts that aren't relevant to the intranet content on the site. It would be great to have an option to remove Salesforce Chatter posts from the Simpplr site feeds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We launched Simpplr with the aim of improving internal communication across the business. We have been gradually building out the sites over the past year and it has now become a central repository for all business processes and policies etc. One of the great things is that as each business area has ownership of their own site, so the responsibility for updating and maintaining content is now everyone's responsibility, not just left to a couple of people in the business.
Very intuitive and modern intranet
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is highly intuitive. Minimal effort to learn to use, virtually plug and play. People directory is extremely useful for sales. Posting content is super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like posting of videos from mobile devices process to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves several problems in a high growth environment. Specifically for sales, it increased productivity and collaboration amongst my peers. Simpplr definitely drove engagement within the sales organization allowing us to focus on daily tasks efficiently.
Great social intranet platform for growing teams
What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr has a simple, easy-to-use interface, strong social features, and a strong infrastructure to allow our teams to communicate, like, post, and share easily. As a knowledge-management tool it's helped us consolidate documents and information to be the single point of access for our team needs from onboarding to work processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The core of the interface is the site feature, which is a great way to break up categorical content and/or provide a sandbox for small or large teams to converse and share. That said, the architecture is a little plain, so more options to create both simple sites all the way up to robust, multi-level sites with more granular features would be fantastic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a team of 200+ people, communication is critical, as is transparency and information sharing. Simpplr not only provides us with a platform that's taken the place of multiple other products, but it's enjoyable to use, which keeps the team engaged and makes the entire ecosystem much more vibrant as a result.
Excellent Platform and Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
The platform and interface is sleek and super user friendly, content is easy to upload, manage, discuss and comment on. The ability to segregate some "sites" and have others used for system wide access make this is an excellent all round platform
However, what really sets Simpplr apart is their support. They have been with us every step of the way from answering questions, to making minor tweaks and digging in and getting their hands dirty.
Can’t recommend the platform or support staff highly enough.

Can’t recommend the platform or support staff highly enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only wish list item would be a better, more detailed, integration into Google Analytics. There is a reasonably good Analytics piece within the platform and a basic integration into Google Analytics but would love to get the typ of analytics available that you would find in a good membership website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are not using Simpplr in a traditional "one way" Intranet. We are actually using the platform to enable online collaboration, discussion and repository for Organization materials. We somewhat push the limits of the platform but it has filled a large gap leveraging SalesForce
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would highly recommend. Looked at a bunch of products/services before settling on Simpplr and everyone involved agrees it was the correct approach.
Simpplr has helped us connect our distributed workforce
What do you like best about the product?
We have a very distributed team across 16 offices and with 30% of our employees working from home. Simpplr is great because it allows everyone to find the information they need, helps all employees collaborate on projects, and was easy to implement (we have a very lean IT team).
Simpplr is also very easy to use and has strong integrations with the other enterprise systems WestEd was already using (e.g.,Salesforce, Box, Slack).

What do you dislike about the product?
That is a hard question to answer. We have been very happy with the product and support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr has helped our distributed workforce find the information they need and collaborate on projects. Since implementing Simpplr, WestEd has shut down many email distribution lists to reduce its overall email volume, since both the content and communication now resides within the intranet. In addition, both IT and HR helpdesk support ticket volumes are decreasing, as employees are now able to find the information they need without any human assistance. Furthermore, we now have a real-time feedback mechanism, empowering its employees to ask questions and provide immediate feedback.
Most importantly, whereas project collaboration used to take place in an ad hoc, disconnected way, today employees use the social intranet to collaborate on projects, thus increasing overall efficiency and quality.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
With any intranet project, reach across department lines and get alignment. Company communications works best with a collaborative, cross-company approach. It shouldn’t be held up in one silo.
Quick deployment, intuitive and great support team
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use with minimum to no technical expertise. Once you iron out your requirements, sites, content and layouts, the deployment is insanely fast! Support has the needed expertise and is solutions-oriented.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to pick and chose which enhancements to deploy with each new release, however this is how SaaS models work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration and communication among our associates. Ability to organize communication needs by site and provide a one-stop shop to look up information, including an associate directory.
Offsite associates are now able to stay informed in a secure manner via the mobile app without having to log into our network.

Simpplr Made our Intranet Simple
What do you like best about the product?
We found multiple products that integrated with SalesForce, but none as easy to use as Simpplr. What Simpplr offers out of the box delivered 98% of the functionality we were looking for, and when we submitted ideas for future development and saw those incorporated, the product really delivered on all fronts. It's also great to have a product where the content can easily be managed by non-IT folks, and SSO means it's not yet another product our associates have to log into. Also LOVE having a branded app that our associates can download. Being able to look up contact info and dial from your cell is a huge perks!
What do you dislike about the product?
Making sure photos are the right dimensions to upload is not my favorite thing to do but it's a small hurdle to an otherwise great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Publishing content to our associates is so much easier thanks to Simpplr and is now much more dynamic than a simple email. We also love the app and that way it allows us to look up contact info remotely. Being able to organize content, add expiration dates, or restrict who can view certain content has really changed the way we handle our intranet. Whereas before most of the work fell on IT, now, the backbone is maintained by IT but the day-to-day usages and content is done by our Corporate Communications team and that's a win-win for sure.
A complete turnkey social intranet solution
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of configuration, high-quality user interface, devotion to product development and expert sales and support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that it runs natively on Salesforce is a plus but it does result in constraints based on Chatter files (cannot hide files folder from sites)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employee engagement, internal communication, team-building. Simpplr has allowed us to have a centralized, mobile-accessible platform to keep our growing company connected and maintain our close-knit culture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend giving Simpplr a look, particularly if you are are a Salesforce shop.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
very easy to use and great for finding things like company news and lunch menus
What do you dislike about the product?
havent had a bad experience, so dont have a recommendation on changes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Simpplr as our company intranet to find everything internal
