Excellent intranet solution for connecting our employee base

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr's interface is incredibly easy to navigate and is very intuitive for admins to configure our site. We have a good number of content managers from various departments, and Simpplr allows for easy coordination of content upload/management. We have had very little technical help, but when we have, the team responded quite quickly and worked together to identify solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the Sites -oriented architecture is a great way for us to organize the information, there is little flexibility in creating more beyond that. That said, we are able to seamlessly integrate everything we need for our intranet solution using Simpplr's architecture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bleacher Report is using Simpplr as our employee intranet service, with the goal of using it for team collaboration in the near future. We had a business need for revitalizing the look and feel of the our intranet to streamline company-wide communication, onboarding resources, and other documentation. The org chart / people discovery feature is also critical to filling a big business need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They are fantastic to work with, very professional.

What do you like best about the product?
It integrates with SalesForce and BOX - these are the 2 biggest integrations we need in our organization
What do you dislike about the product?
The hyperlinks between Simpplr and SalesForce dont always work. The BOX connection often breaks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better internal communication. SImpplr serves as our intranet

It is a good tool - however it has some limitations.

Hub 2.0 provide an easy and central location for employees to get important company information

What do you like best about the product?
As our company began to grow, it became increasingly difficult to share and store important company information in a location that everyone has easy access to. Once Hub 2.0 was implemented, the amount of questions that would "spam" all in the company drastically reduced. Clarity is key in a growing company and that is what Hub 2.0 provided. Plus, it was super easy to learn how to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, my experience with Hub 2.0 was amazing and I have no negative feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our company grew, and more and more employees were based away from head quarters, it became increasingly difficult to share a consistent message that everyone has access to across all of our locations. Immediately after implementing your solution, all employees knew where they needed to go to get the information they required. This also helps with our employees not at HQ to feel closer to the company rather than a distant after thought.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
All you need to do is try this solution out and you will love it!

What do you like best about the product?
We came from a very flat intranet with information being pushed from one source. simpplr allows for information and ideas to flow in every direction. Much more engaging for our associates and lets everyone in on what's happening in the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much I dislike, other than some of the quirks between Salesforce and simpplr (though I think some of that is addressed in the Winter '18 update). I would like to be able to see who of our associates are the most frequent users and who aren't getting into it and don't think that is possible now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 8 locations and e-mail was the primary source of communicating to everyone. That meant full inboxes, saved e-mails, lost e-mails and information. Having simpplr allows us to keep information in one place that we can both push out to associates or they can find easily on the various sites we've created. Additionally ANYONE can add content, so we are sharing information among teams and the entire corporation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Simpplr was very easy to get up and running and while it is taking some time for all of our associates to get on board, we continue to use this as the hub for any and all communication, information, events, pictures etc...making it difficult for anyone not to use it. The support has been phenomenal.

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr provides a streamlined user interface compared to many competitors, which is a key element in driving employee engagement. Pre-built integrations are excellent and the team is great to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the time I was involved with this project, third-party integrations were somewhat limited, but that is to be expected with a small, but growing company. They did have many plans for future integrations that would be huge value adds for certain organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Globally remote communication can be difficult, but Simpplr provides the tools to enable success through a single communications hub. Consumer-like interface and flexible content options provide a solid backbone through which to build employee engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr is a great tool for our offices. We have offices all across the US and we use it as a tool to help connect our employees with all their colleagues. It's been a wonderful tool that helps us bring out more comradery and offers our employees a chance to celebrate everyone's achievements, but also offer advice and insight on strategies that may be beneficial for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar system. We like to do things like plug in employee workiversaries and birthdays. We wish there was a way to have events occur on an annual basis, versus having to update it manually .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of documents that are used universally that previously wasn't saved in a place where everyone had access. We are now able to save important documents and set privacy settings so that information is dispersed properly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great product! Very robust and really gives you all you can want from such a software.

Easy to Use, Easy to Manage

What do you like best about the product?
Simple in its interface and does produce visually pleasing pages. Users of all levels can create and update content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to customise some features. One example is we would like to add additional fields to Documents fr tracking and qa purposes, can not be done like that of Salesforce objects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool for internal communication, social interaction and displaying and broadcasting company policies. Simpplr fits the bill here

Native Salesforce intranet that is easy to use and implement

What do you like best about the product?
Given that we're in Australia we were initially concerned with the time zone challenges, however, the Simpplr team were really organised and the implementation ran really smoothly. From kick off to go live we were up and running within 6 weeks and required minimal admin support outside of Simpplr’s team.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the platform is native to Salesforce, the site feeds are full of Chatter posts that aren't relevant to the intranet content on the site. It would be great to have an option to remove Salesforce Chatter posts from the Simpplr site feeds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We launched Simpplr with the aim of improving internal communication across the business. We have been gradually building out the sites over the past year and it has now become a central repository for all business processes and policies etc. One of the great things is that as each business area has ownership of their own site, so the responsibility for updating and maintaining content is now everyone's responsibility, not just left to a couple of people in the business.

What do you like best about the product?
User interface is highly intuitive. Minimal effort to learn to use, virtually plug and play. People directory is extremely useful for sales. Posting content is super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like posting of videos from mobile devices process to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves several problems in a high growth environment. Specifically for sales, it increased productivity and collaboration amongst my peers. Simpplr definitely drove engagement within the sales organization allowing us to focus on daily tasks efficiently.

Great social intranet platform for growing teams

What do you like best about the product?
Simpplr has a simple, easy-to-use interface, strong social features, and a strong infrastructure to allow our teams to communicate, like, post, and share easily. As a knowledge-management tool it's helped us consolidate documents and information to be the single point of access for our team needs from onboarding to work processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The core of the interface is the site feature, which is a great way to break up categorical content and/or provide a sandbox for small or large teams to converse and share. That said, the architecture is a little plain, so more options to create both simple sites all the way up to robust, multi-level sites with more granular features would be fantastic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a team of 200+ people, communication is critical, as is transparency and information sharing. Simpplr not only provides us with a platform that's taken the place of multiple other products, but it's enjoyable to use, which keeps the team engaged and makes the entire ecosystem much more vibrant as a result.
