Excellent Platform and Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
The platform and interface is sleek and super user friendly, content is easy to upload, manage, discuss and comment on. The ability to segregate some "sites" and have others used for system wide access make this is an excellent all round platform
However, what really sets Simpplr apart is their support. They have been with us every step of the way from answering questions, to making minor tweaks and digging in and getting their hands dirty.
Can’t recommend the platform or support staff highly enough.

What do you dislike about the product?
My only wish list item would be a better, more detailed, integration into Google Analytics. There is a reasonably good Analytics piece within the platform and a basic integration into Google Analytics but would love to get the typ of analytics available that you would find in a good membership website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are not using Simpplr in a traditional "one way" Intranet. We are actually using the platform to enable online collaboration, discussion and repository for Organization materials. We somewhat push the limits of the platform but it has filled a large gap leveraging SalesForce
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would highly recommend. Looked at a bunch of products/services before settling on Simpplr and everyone involved agrees it was the correct approach.
Simpplr has helped us connect our distributed workforce
What do you like best about the product?
We have a very distributed team across 16 offices and with 30% of our employees working from home. Simpplr is great because it allows everyone to find the information they need, helps all employees collaborate on projects, and was easy to implement (we have a very lean IT team).
Simpplr is also very easy to use and has strong integrations with the other enterprise systems WestEd was already using (e.g.,Salesforce, Box, Slack).

What do you dislike about the product?
That is a hard question to answer. We have been very happy with the product and support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpplr has helped our distributed workforce find the information they need and collaborate on projects. Since implementing Simpplr, WestEd has shut down many email distribution lists to reduce its overall email volume, since both the content and communication now resides within the intranet. In addition, both IT and HR helpdesk support ticket volumes are decreasing, as employees are now able to find the information they need without any human assistance. Furthermore, we now have a real-time feedback mechanism, empowering its employees to ask questions and provide immediate feedback.
Most importantly, whereas project collaboration used to take place in an ad hoc, disconnected way, today employees use the social intranet to collaborate on projects, thus increasing overall efficiency and quality.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
With any intranet project, reach across department lines and get alignment. Company communications works best with a collaborative, cross-company approach. It shouldn’t be held up in one silo.
Quick deployment, intuitive and great support team
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use with minimum to no technical expertise. Once you iron out your requirements, sites, content and layouts, the deployment is insanely fast! Support has the needed expertise and is solutions-oriented.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to pick and chose which enhancements to deploy with each new release, however this is how SaaS models work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration and communication among our associates. Ability to organize communication needs by site and provide a one-stop shop to look up information, including an associate directory.
Offsite associates are now able to stay informed in a secure manner via the mobile app without having to log into our network.

Simpplr Made our Intranet Simple
What do you like best about the product?
We found multiple products that integrated with SalesForce, but none as easy to use as Simpplr. What Simpplr offers out of the box delivered 98% of the functionality we were looking for, and when we submitted ideas for future development and saw those incorporated, the product really delivered on all fronts. It's also great to have a product where the content can easily be managed by non-IT folks, and SSO means it's not yet another product our associates have to log into. Also LOVE having a branded app that our associates can download. Being able to look up contact info and dial from your cell is a huge perks!
What do you dislike about the product?
Making sure photos are the right dimensions to upload is not my favorite thing to do but it's a small hurdle to an otherwise great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Publishing content to our associates is so much easier thanks to Simpplr and is now much more dynamic than a simple email. We also love the app and that way it allows us to look up contact info remotely. Being able to organize content, add expiration dates, or restrict who can view certain content has really changed the way we handle our intranet. Whereas before most of the work fell on IT, now, the backbone is maintained by IT but the day-to-day usages and content is done by our Corporate Communications team and that's a win-win for sure.
A complete turnkey social intranet solution
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of configuration, high-quality user interface, devotion to product development and expert sales and support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that it runs natively on Salesforce is a plus but it does result in constraints based on Chatter files (cannot hide files folder from sites)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Employee engagement, internal communication, team-building. Simpplr has allowed us to have a centralized, mobile-accessible platform to keep our growing company connected and maintain our close-knit culture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend giving Simpplr a look, particularly if you are are a Salesforce shop.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
very easy to use and great for finding things like company news and lunch menus
What do you dislike about the product?
havent had a bad experience, so dont have a recommendation on changes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Simpplr as our company intranet to find everything internal
Recommendations to others considering the product:
great product
Very positive experience using Simpplr for our intranet. Easy, and helps with Salesforce adoption.
What do you like best about the product?
We use Salesforce chatter for communication, so we like that the feed can be integrated on any site page. The setup of Simpplr was easy, the support has been excellent, and using Simpplr has really helped with our Salesforce adoption. I can build apps in SF and link to them from articles on the intranet, and the user can seamlessly get to a salesforce page because they are logged into Simpplr.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish the calendar were available in a month view, instead of just event views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, the integration between Salesforce and Simpplr makes it easy to move reluctant users seamlessly into salesforce apps by linking from articles and procedures. We use the Simpplr people page as our directory, and keep all our business procedures and employee manuals on the intranet. The search functions are great; makes it easy for our employees to find what they need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended. We all love it! We've been able to distribute the maintenance of the intranet, since the product is so easy to use.
Nice intranet with an easy UI
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very clean tool that's easy to use. The search works great. And it seems to do a good job keeping information relevant and up-to-date. Previous intranets always got stale. I also like that it integrates with Salesforce--it's easier to get adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm looking forward to the updated branded mobile app that is coming out shortly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a good place to streamline all of our company communications (i.e. executive updates, HR benefits, etc.). And I get a better sense of what's going on in some of our other offices.
Simpplr helped us manage communication and culture as we grew
What do you like best about the product?
I like Simpplr’s user experience for its intuitive usability and design and its prebuilt integrations to with some of the other key technologies we use (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, and Okta).
What do you dislike about the product?
To really get the most value from Simpplr, your organization needs to be committed to it so enablement needs to be focused on and a team dedicated towards it during the first few months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Simpplr initiative was focused at addressing the following issues: (i) employees were feeling more disconnected, and (ii) we needed a platform to serve as the single source of truth for company information. Simpplr has helped us improve internal communication to our global employee base, even as we have continued to grow. In addition, employees that span different departments, locations, and tenures are much better connected, as we continue to expand.
Great intranet with an easy UI
What do you like best about the product?
It's just really easy. Easy to find stuff from lunch menus to HR forms. Easy to locate people in other departments. Easy to see what's going on in other offices. Easy to post content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we better utilized the Box/Simpplr integration. It would be great to search all of our Box content through this search as well. I know the integration exists and we haven't implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's nice to have a place where people can go to connect with coworkers they don't know very well. It makes it easier to approach coworkers when I know a little bit more about them - both at personal level and within work.
