Excellent Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It was very useful tool which helped us remove all the hard disk information before we dispose the assets and make sure we handle all the compliance requirements too. Thanks to wipedrive

I did noy find any downside in using it. It was very helpful

This tool helped in wipe off the entire drives before we dispose the IT assets.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to wipe drives in house, on-site. Desktops, laptops, iPhones and iPads! The integration with our own ERP software to inventory equipment is very beneficial. We can extract the type of processor, memory, memory configuration, hard drive size, serial number of hard drive and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
On-site wiping can be a challenge if there is no internet connection available. Some equipment requires minor changes in the BIOS before runnign the software. Although, when any issues or problems are discovered, support is very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Protecting and destroying our client's confidential data is the most important aspect to our organization. The fact that the product is approved by NAID adds to the credibility of the product and our services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering using this over Blancco or another product, all I can do is endorse WipeDrive. We've had nothing but good experience with the product and are seeing no reasons to change at this time.

I like the fast wiping I can get out of the service I mean some of my units it takes time for it to work properly but boy when it does it like freaking magic and me and my job love it

I really haven't had any bad issue with the service

It helps be getting thru 1000's of systems compared to when I first started wiping

Works great for wiping remote devices
What do you like best about the product?
We were able to wipe devices in an office that was being sold off from hundreds of miles away deploying the WipDrive via PSExec. It worked perfectly for our use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
We specifically purchased WipeDrive because our account rep assured us we could use it for our scenario: to wipe machines remotely from our headquarters. Unfortunately, it did not work as slickly as we were led to believe. The nature of modern security practices required some work to get the solution to work properly, including hours on the phone with White Canyon support. We eventually achieved our goal by segmenting devices into a secure VLAN, disabling endpoint protection, and creating local admin rights on the machine for the account pushing the product through PSExec. Once we had it all worked out in our lab environment, we were able to proceed with the target devices. Future projects won't take as long now that we have the correct strategy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to remotely wipe Windows machines from our headquarters. Achieving this solution, we've saved time and money from travel and expenses, and can remotely wipe infected or retired devices quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product! Works as expected. If using this product to wipe remote devices, remember to disable endpoint protection and to allow the user pushing via PSExec local admin permissions on the target devices. We grouped in special OU and applied secure Group Policy to these devices to ensure we could run the product on them. I recommend setting up a lab environment first to ensure everything works as expected.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to request a custom copy of WipeDrive and the support I receive whenever I encounter a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes all of the options for customization is overwhelming, but overall I really enjoy the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can safely send laptops/desktops/servers in the mail now without fearing user data is on the hard drive and if it got lost we would have a data breach.
Great software with some really great features.
What do you like best about the product?
WipeDrives Logging capabilities and its ability to log to external databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost per wipe can be kind of high, though its still lower than other enterprise grade solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WipeDrive allows us to easily wipe virtually any machine without any incompatibility issues. We have to wipe an extremely wide range of devices and WipeDrive always seems up to the task. It also allows us to easily log device information remotely and that helps with Inventory.
Great Solution with the team to back up its work!
What do you like best about the product?
The team involvement when support is needed. I have an enterprise account with many licenses. When we ran into a problem with specific models of SanDisk SSD's the software failed to achieve a DoD level Wipe. After working with support for many hours (Literally, over a few days) we determined the root cause of the problem was in how the software told the drive to "sleep" in order to unlock the drive, but this particular model would not wake back up after changes were made. The support team worked with Dev teams to create a beta version that they thought would solve it. When it didn't I was asked to ship 2 full towers with the disks to White Canyon. They paid for the shipping, and developed a newer version that would in fact wipe the SSD to DoD standards, released it to me to try and when we determined it was successful, They shipped the machines back. All costs covered by White Canyon. While this is not typical it shows that they were willing to adhere to their promise/guarantee of being able to wipe ALL hard drives. They kept their word.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really couldn't say that I disliked anything about the product or its team. I think the cost was a bit high but given the experience i had, it seems now that the cost is justifiable. The staff behind the product is worth it.

quick wipes that meet our destruction needs for our customers. Network support to wipe many machines at the same time, detailed tracking on machine, name, disk, serials, and more that is certified and stored in multiple formats.

The support is worth the cost, the solutions and dedication to their promise went above. I was very happy with the end result

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to Use, Supports a vast majority of machines.

Nothing found yet. Still using it with no issue

Making sure all Hard Drives / Mobile Devices are wiped with a confirmation report

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to wipe multiple systems both online and offline. The product works great for either situation that we have experienced.
What do you dislike about the product?
How long it can take to do a 3 pass DoD wipe but that is expected regardless of the wiping tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that we are wiping systems in remote locations that don't have Internet access anymore and obtaining the wipe certificates we require. This ensures that when we are constrained in parts of the world in what we have to work with, we can still get the job done.
