best open source nas-like software
What do you like best about the product?
*self hosted : i don't have to warrie about my data.
free : it's open source .
i can connect to it from multiable source : windows, mac , android and iphone which is a big plus.
i can increase the space as much as i need.

it Can be complex to set up and manage
Some features are not as polished as platforms
preformance is a little bit slow for big files but that maybe from the file format i am using!

it helps me keep everything orginized and avalible for multiable users in my company which give faster collaboration and ease of use to the end users and engineers

It does help with giving you control over your data and privacy. Setup cloud storage and file synchronization, with ease and no expert assistance needed.

slow learning system because there is not enough information to start knowing all the functions of each tool

What do you like best about the product?
Navigating, sharing, and managing data on both desktop and mobile is made easy with ownCloud's cutting-edge GUI. Setting up my 2TB NAS drive and configuring its partitions for work and personal use was a breeze. Given my past experience of losing all my data due to SSD failure, performing daily backups became a routine. With ownCloud, I can fulfill my backup and sharing needs without breaking the bank on yearly or monthly subscriptions. I'm also impressed with the upload speeds ownCloud achieves on my 2.5 gigabit Ethernet connection at home, which allows me to upload and share some of my favorite movies and series within mere seconds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I'm generally satisfied with ownCloud, my only complaint is the time it takes to create a new user on the web application. This issue persists on both my office and home networks, and I don't believe it's a network-related problem on my end. Hopefully, a future update will address this matter.

After conducting online research, I discovered that ownCloud was the most highly regarded software compared to other alternatives. As a result, I decided to choose it.

Ease of use OwnCloud provides is the best thing. Features such as creating users and providing granular access is simple and something nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to large-size buckets, the performance can be degraded if we use smaller-size servers. The cost of the solution would increase to get the desired performance with the larger servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my previous organisation, used this product to provide access to multiple end-users to S3 buckets. The end-users were non-technical and without worrying about IAM users or SFTP, they were able to access the data on S3 buckets.

That functionality is good to work and work fine, a variety of connectivity types is the best feature of the system and work perfectly in a good network quality
What do you dislike about the product?
the interface of a client side area is bad and have a variety bug in buttons and responsively in mobiles dimensions, a simple usability in vertical mode not work and have rotate device intensively

A variety of connections type and a quality of stability is a pretty benefit of the program, work with ftp, ssl, https, webdav and others, this is a best functionality
