Bastillion Capabilities on EC2
What do you like best about the product?
It simplified the process of managing multiple EC2 instances by letting me to control SSH connections, user access, and session logs from one dashboard. The session logging feature is super handy for audits, making sure every connection is monitored and safe. Plus, the interface is neat and user-friendly, so even non-techies can navigate it easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bastillion for EC2 has some cool features, but I've found it can add a bit of extra weight, especially if you're dealing with a smaller setup. If you're just managing a handful of instances, it might feel like overkill compared to simpler, lighter options out there. Plus, running a separate app just for SSH management can seem a bit unnecessary, especially if you're already used to the traditional ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bastillion for EC2 has totally made SSH key and connection management a breeze across various instances, and it’s been a total game changer for me. I don’t have to stress about keeping track of who has access or dealing with a bunch of SSH keys anymore and everything is now neatly organized in one secure place. The session logging feature is another huge plus, as it gives me a solid audit trail, making sure everything stays secure and compliant.

Finally an easy way to SSH to ec2 instance from web
What do you like best about the product?
Bastillion is an easy way to connect to VMs from the web browser and it works seamlessly for EC2 instances as well from the web portal directly. Since openssh is auto configured with ports opened by default when EC2 instance configure with Bastillion, its easy to start a VM and connect directly to it in secure way.

Get EC2 Tasks Simplified: Bastillion right place for all your needs
What do you like best about the product?
Bastillion has some really great features when talking about ease of use in such a way that the user files can be uploaded easily when the ec2 instance is connected making it best in terms of implementation ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
What i found abit negetive is that it has a web based interface which makes it to use more resources making performance lower, lastly it has less options to customize the portal. These reasons make the frequency of use less when the integration is much higher.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What my recommendation for this is as i mentioned before as well that it makes it easier for command execution processes. Reason is that it uses web based console portal and not through the older terminal commands. It speed up the admin process and also works great in file uploading process.
