I have found very challenging learn how to use the platform. It requires a significant time investment and training to use its full potential effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Recorded Future is how quickly it gives me actionable intelligence. Instead of just raw data, it provides real context around threats — who’s behind them, what they’re targeting, and how they connect to other activity. It saves me a ton of research time and helps me make smarter security decisions faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I really like Recorded Future, but some of the modules can feel a bit siloed, and there are a few limitations in how data flows between them. It would be great to see more seamless integration across modules and deeper customization in dashboards and alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recorded Future helps solve the challenge of turning massive amounts of threat data into actionable intelligence. It consolidates information from open, dark, and technical sources, then adds context so we can prioritize what really matters. This has reduced our investigation time, improved our ability to detect emerging threats early, and made our overall security posture more proactive.

The update time for new infrastructure used by threat actors is important to monitor.

The platform offers features such as searches, investigations, threat actor profiling, and CTI reports. These tools are useful for gathering intelligence and understanding potential threats.
Transforms SOCs with Intelligence Graphs, But AI Reporting Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about recorded future is the intelligence graphs and having the historic information, it changes a soc from reactive to proactive

AI reporting where it’s not that valuable when you prompt it

The historic information and being able to search across information is the biggest issue it’s solved. Actually letting us see as an organisation who is targeting us
Comprehensive Security Tool with Intuitive UI and Evolving Features
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to understand, which I appreciate. I particularly like that it serves as a centralized tool, offering many features that are useful in my daily work, such as tracking vulnerabilities and monitoring threat actors. The ransomware dashboard is a standout feature for me, and I also value the ability to view dark web sites within the sandbox environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see many downsides to this tool; it's an excellent solution that keeps evolving alongside the threat landscape. However, I have submitted feedback through the tool and have not received any response.

It helps me generate reports for stakeholders on the latest threat actors, attacks and vulnerabilities

The platform is easy to use, contains all the information in real-time cyber events to enable you to better defend your network.

It takes a long time to get my requests for improvements of the platform through to live.

Easy to use and extremely fluent whilst using for my analytical work.

Accessibility sometimes can be difficult in my line of work. However not many issues for me to highlight.

The ability to monitor and refine threat actors capabilities and events with ease. Making the events easy to find and refine.
Effective Threat Intelligence with Room for UI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Recorded Future platform a lot. I find it to be a very useful platform, especially for thread intelligence. The geopolitical mapping is another aspect that I find very beneficial. Additionally, the event creation methodology is extremely useful, and I really appreciate the threat intelligence landscape it offers. The platform also features new developments in the cyber hunt engine that are expected to enhance its usability. I also find setting up Recorded Future was straightforward without any difficulties. Overall, it is a very effective platform for understanding new developments and staying updated with what's happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user interface to be overly complex, with too many menu options on the initial page. It could benefit from being made simpler and more intuitive. Introducing an AI assistant to help navigate the platform could also enhance the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product's threat intelligence platform effective for keeping up with new developments, enhancing demos, and improving the threat landscape visualization.
