    Cameron G.

The best website builder for serious designers

  • June 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Webflow's features and functionality. The design first interface combined with development best practices make it such a powerful tool for businesses and marketing teams. I use Webflow almost every day and after designing and developing over 200 sites in Webflow it's an absolute game changer for my business and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative is the pricing. For some smaller businesses the cost to run is expensive, however the tool is obviously pitched at medium sized businesses and above.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing for clients. Which allows my clients businesses to grow.

Enhanced flexibility and design capabilities attract new clients

  • June 11, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Webflow is for our company website where we created a branded website. We share case studies, clients' testimonials, and also blogs showing our expertise and thought leadership.

The design is important for us, but mainly in terms of content, these are the content we use regularly on Webflow.

What is most valuable?

The best features Webflow offers are the design features, so we can build whatever we want in terms of coding, and also the ready features that are included, which we can guide easily. It's not only drag and drop, it also makes us build our own designs for example on Figma and then code the same on Webflow where it provides us more flexibility in terms of applying what we want to apply, where we didn't have these options or features in the previous platform that we were using.

The flexibility Webflow has offered has helped my team apply whatever they wanted, which was important for us. This flexibility allowed us to build a better website, and it allowed our clients or prospective clients to find us easier on Google, understand from our website what we do, and reach out to us while on our previous platform that we were using, which was Wix. We were not getting any reach outs or forms filled in, but in Webflow, lots of clients reach out to us and we converted them into clients.

In terms of the numbers, while we were getting zero reach outs from clients on Wix, here we got around 100 messages in these two years. While some were spam too, the important thing was people started to fill these forms and from here we converted three clients. So from zero to three converted clients minimum.

The CMS in Webflow has been built by my team, and because we have the clear CMS, we can go in at the blogs as much as we want. Everything is fixed over there. The only thing that we need to do is add the right text on the CMS, and this is getting published directly on the website, which is friendly with our web design, and everything has been planned beforehand.

Webflow has positively impacted my organization in terms of branding. We can really reflect what our brand is, company values, and how much we give importance to brand. The second is time efficiency in terms of moving forward quickly with the CMS and updating the content we want. With a better branding that we can reflect on Webflow, this helps us showcase more of our professional look and also our creativity.

Webflow has helped me save time by allowing us to update content and launch new pages efficiently. Before, we were not giving importance to uploading case studies or blogs because it was not SEO friendly. So from nothing, we started to update regularly our case studies, build case studies, and also regularly update blogs.

What needs improvement?

I find that Webflow could be improved, as the dashboard design could be more user-friendly in terms of colors and brands. Currently, it's a basic CMS, but if it's more user-friendly in terms of the design and the colors, it could push us more to create more blogs and use the platform more.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Webflow for more than two years.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

The initial setup with Webflow was straightforward because it gave us the flexibility, and also there were the resources online that my team could check.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Webflow is always stable for me. I have never experienced something negative.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Webflow's scalability for my needs has been excellent. We have been growing with Webflow, and our growth has increased after we started to use Webflow. Currently, everything is going well.

How are customer service and support?

I have not needed to reach out to Webflow's customer support, and that is why I don't have any comments on the customer support, but when I or my team needs to get additional information, we could find this on Webflow's help resources online.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before Webflow, I was using Wix. Firstly, it was not SEO friendly; secondly, it was not easy to navigate; thirdly, it was not easy to build the custom design and the features that we wanted. It was not possible to showcase our creativity and design skills on Wix, where in Webflow, we are able to do all of these in the best way.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup with Webflow was straightforward because it gave us the flexibility, and also there were the resources online that my team could check.

What about the implementation team?

Webflow is deployed in my organization entirely on Webflow. We are not working with any other third party.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment with Webflow; after switching, clients started to find us on Google or reach out to us after they liked how we presented our company, our website, our case studies, and started to reach out to us. From here, we could convert these prospective clients into customers.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing for Webflow is higher than other platforms, also higher than Wix, but when we think about the features, it's a price that we had to pay. It's more than Wix and other platforms, but the price comes with justification.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Webflow. From Wix, we directly decided to move to Webflow because we knew what it could bring, and we directly passed to Webflow.

What other advice do I have?

I highly suggest using Webflow, especially for those looking to showcase their creativity and who are searching for a website that gives them the design flexibility. I would say Webflow is a perfect option for them.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate Webflow a nine. I choose nine instead of 10 because I think there are some parts that can be improved, such as the design look, the navigation look, the colors, and all. So that would be the only part breaking down that one point.

My company has a business relationship with Webflow as a design partner because what we do is, we build client websites on Webflow for our clients but we don't have any direct relationship with Webflow.

I was not offered a gift card or incentive for this review.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve, and the options can be overwhelming, but it is still my platform of choice for all but sku intensive e-com brands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easy to have full control of my site's look and feel without the need to know code.

Excellent templated and automated website building for connecting or fast deployment

  • June 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Pre built workflows, excellent templates, broad compatibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration support is somewhat lacking. Come features such as commerce/CMS are not as fully featured as more advanced platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes quick mock ups and basic site deployments for smaller clients more affordable and manageable. Templates get you on the ground running faster than repurposing old layouts etc.

Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about Webflow. It’s a well-rounded platform that gives full creative control, from design to development to hosting. Any limitations can usually be solved with smart workarounds or third-party integrations, which makes it incredibly flexible for almost any project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Powerful tool that mirrors code but user friendly

  • June 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Webflow is a powerful tool that allows you to do what code does, but with the added visualization of what you're building. It mirrors a lot of the naming and organization as code does, which makes it easy to pick up if you have a code background. I love how Webflow streamlines the design process with classes, components, and variables, making it easy to make global changes across the site. When running into problems or errors, the customer support is quick to respond and provide solutions. Overall, Webflow is a powerful tool and easy to use and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet! I have had suggestions that would help me as a designer and I'm happy to see those updates roll out with the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A tool that designers can create a visualization of the web project that can easily transfer to the development team. It has streamlined that process for us.

Webflow is efficient and easy to use with no need to figure out cumbersome plugins.

  • June 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how the designer interface is a very simplistic translation of writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like Webflow is not a sustainable platform for one time users looking to make a nice portfolio website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow is a better alternative to using WordPress. I work for an advertising agency as a website designer and developer, and WordPress has caused me many headaches with clients because of its' sometimes unreliable plugins. Webflow cuts out the need to rely on excessive plugins and add ons.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building custom websites efficiently.

Website Design Made For You

  • May 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Webflow allows plenty of editing capabilities and design options which is great for our wide range of clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how webflow updates and moves common editing tools often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem we are having is needing it to integrate with our PMS so that that pricing/availability and any other information automatically updates on our websites.
