Intuitive, straightforward, and better for design
What do you like best about the product?
We moved over to Webflow from Wordpress, and what strikes me thus far about Webflow is how much more user-friendly it is. The hierarchy of information is easier to comprehend, the design tools are more easily accessible and offer better capabilities, and I'm confident in our ability to run a much cleaner website experience than we did on Wordpress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to publish small changes to the website without republishing all in-flight updates at once, but I think that might just be a learning curve thing. It's different than anything I've used before in that sense, but there are ways around it that make it work fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a better, more user-friendly option to Wordpress, and we found that in Webflow.
In my opinion, the essential tool for creating a website in 2024
What do you like best about the product?
- Clean Graphical Interface
- Clean Code Generated
- No brain server use
- Solid Growth (new features, CMS, ambitious vision, etc.)
- Friendly Community

What do you dislike about the product?
- Some classic no-code limitations in CMS (e.g. nested collections)
- Users and E-commerce features not robust or professional enough
- Users and E-commerce features not robust or professional enough
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rapid integration of design mockups. Simple to configure and use CMS
The base product is very good, but Webflow often doesn't think things through enough.
What do you like best about the product?
For context: We use Webflow daily in our agency and we work with Webflow since 5+ years.
- The base product (I call it "visual coding") is a huge time saver
- Components
- page building (not in the current state though..)
- Simplicity of hosting sites
- Community (the Forum, Finsweet, etc.)

What do you dislike about the product?
- Components have no support for background videos and lottie files in the properties
- Page building is not thought through yet:
- In Build mode there is no option to add links to a navigation (neither automatically, nor manually). This means that the clients of our agency can build new pages now with Build mode but they still have to call us to add a link to the navigation.
- In Build mode its not possible to add Components into Component Slots
- For us as an agency, the workflow for handling clients and client projects is messy and not thought through. If I want to give the client simple access to the Build mode, my client would have to create an account and I would have to transfer the project over to his account. Then he would need to invite me back into his workspace. And even then: The client has way too much power and possibilities to break the site, because he is the administrator of the Workspace.
It would be much better if we could invite our clients to Build mode like we can invite them to the old Editor. It would keep it very simple and the client only gets to see what he needs.
- No native CMS slider
- [Bug] All Images inside grids that dont have fixed width in pixels always load the lowest resolution version of the srcset.

Webflow enables us as a Branding Agency to develop Websites inhouse instead of handing over the Webdesign to an external programmer.
Empowering Website Development with Flexibility and Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Webflow allows me to create branded website experiences for my clients, enhancing their speed and autonomy post-launch. I find the components feature immensely useful for building blocks that facilitate new page creation. Additionally, the CMS offers powerful dynamic data structures. The engaging Webflow University videos initially gave me a positive impression and encouraged me to learn the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the build mode experience and the user interface not very intuitive for marketers. The build mode, especially when creating pages with components and component slots, feels overcrowded and dense with various properties and property groups. This complexity makes it less approachable and friendly, giving an impression of being a very advanced professional application rather than something user-friendly for marketers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow allows me to create on-brand website experiences for clients, enabling them to move with more speed and autonomy post-launch. It provides powerful CMS features and reusable components, facilitating easy page creation and dynamic data management.
Webflow, a powerful tool to create incredible websites
What do you like best about the product?
I love the power to create animations based on CSS and JavaScript without the need to write code
What do you dislike about the product?
It has the drawback that the learning curve is somewhat steep, and although it is a No-Code tool, I think it is necessary to have knowledge of CSS to understand how many of the design tools work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue of cost, which is somewhat high compared to other platforms or web tools
Redefining the way we built websites
What do you like best about the product?
Before Webflow I had to develope with code editors handle servers and databases. All the unwanted thinks that come with web development for a web designer. Thanks to Webflow I can concentrate on the design and the fun parts of building websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to run it headless on your own server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to take care about technical infrastructure, backups and security. This allows us to invest more time in quality websites.
Scalable, fast, and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Migrating to webflow has been wonderful, far more reliable, scalable and simple to implement than wordpress was.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found much to dislike, getting quality support can be tricky occassionally
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow is the platform on which we've built our entire site. It's the 'front door' of our business.
The CMS/Website Designer we all dreamed of
What do you like best about the product?
Webflow has changed my life. I learned BETTER to code, thanks to the FULL TASKBAR that offers ALL the possible "setups" (CSS syntax) that are already there for you, and thanks to the fun Webflow University.
It's a dream come true, hoping that they will add some missing feature to make it PERFECT. This way of working, added with the amazing Quick Stack feature and the good hosting they offer, make Webflow the perfect solution for the person who wants to learn, and for the navigated web designer.
You are not going to miss the other "vintage" CMSs... ;-)
I suggest Webflow for small and big corporations companies too. There are for both the worlds, advantages to be gained.

What do you dislike about the product?
Combo Classes. The Classes are limited in a way you miss the freedom of the clean HTML and CSS Code. A Plug-In helps. but would be perfect to have the possibility to edit deeply and have total control of every class in every div/element.
Components. Would be nice to have more components to start with; more sliders, more ready-to-use boxes and so on.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To have everything under your eyes (all the CSS Syntax)
To do it fast (no worries about hosting and cyber attacks)
Nice corporate support (they even make videos with comments, to help you!)

Website Rebuild with Webflow
What do you like best about the product?
Using Webflow is very user friendly! I love that you can pre-load assets into the platform to use across your website.
What do you dislike about the product?
The designer mode can be confusing at first, as you have a lot of freedom and can change any tiny detail. The learning curve was fairly quick though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything you need to launch a new website is native to Webflow, including hosting the finished product.
So close to perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Lightning fast UI that actually looks the same live as it does in edit mode. Also, their tutorials are entertaining and helpful- hard to achieve!
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any web tool, it's still not quite WYSIWYG and the more code knowledge you have, the more you're rewarded using this tool. That said, it's heading in the right direction and may someday (soon) be a true visual editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow adds a visual layer to coding that's much more intuitive than traditional code stacks.
