Powerful web development platform
What do you like best about the product?
Webflow allows you to design visually without sacrificing the quality of your work. You also get a powerful CMS function which is top of the market. The design of the product makes easier to build beautiful website with great customization. Great developer community.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not the easier web development platform to master, but lot of great resources to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s best for the ones that don’t like a pure designer approach, but also would like not spending much time with technical implementation. You can get, with one tool, ecommerce function, CMS, a built-in hosting, language translation and website analytics.
Webflow - great tool, great business, great community
What do you like best about the product?
The support from the community! The ease of use of using Webflow as a designer who also develops. It's a learning curve to get into it, but you always feel as thought you are well supported, both by the free training resources that Webflow University provides, but also by the community. For my clients, I also love the hassle-free simplicity of maintaining a site - not needing to run frequent updates or manual backups is heaven for my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The increasing costs and add-ons. I love Webflow but find it increasingly harder to sell to my current client base - they aren't huge hitters and a good portion of them are non-profits. They love the ease of use but having lots of pricey plugins overwhelms them (so we don't use them!). They would also struggle to justify the value of the plugins - eg. analytics - it's great for the bigger clients, and likely to provide a lot of value/save a lot of time having it there available inside of Webflow but when it comes to my smaller or charity clients, it's impossible to justify that spend - they just don't have the kind of disposable income that'd allow that kind of spend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow solves the problem of the client having to manage a site in multiple places (eg. hosting, php, cms etc). Being all in one is what drives a lot of my clients to switch over (often from Wordpress, sometimes from Drupal).
Developer friendly web builder
What do you like best about the product?
Webflow becoming a great tool for both designers who can code, web agencies and startups who wants to scale their website. With the new features like components, Localization, Analyitics etc. you will have an all-in-one marketing tool in your hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Webflow has no pricing for micro websites. But you can export your website without CMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow provides a great platform for me to create unique web experiences faster.
Better, faster, smarter way to build and maintain our sites
What do you like best about the product?
As a Senior Designer and Platform Admin, I've really enjoyed working in Webflow the last several years. The design interface is super user-friendly, easy to drag and drop elements and build custom components without getting bogged down in code. The ability to use global libraries for components and styles as well as using 3rd party pre-built elements has streamlined our processes and allows my team to deliver faster and better. What gets me really excited about Webflow is how they are always looking to innovate with new tools and features. The evolution of Webflow from when I started using it to today is amazing and I can't wait to see what's next.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ok so in all farness, a little more access to the back end code like direct access to the CSS to edit would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivery of new pages and sites faster and eaiser as well as the ability to assign user roles that can do direct editing to their own content and allowing my team to concentrate more on bigger things.
Incredibly powerful website design builder
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness of building powerful websites without the requirement of having a deep knowledge of coding. They constantly upgrade the tool adding new component to achieve the results.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing would be a disadvantage. Also, there's no option to use the tool in any other languages, just in English.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving the problem of bringing website designers a tool to develop an astonishing product without having to have a deep knowledge of coding.
Webflow improved greatly in 3 years - now on par if not better than WordPress
What do you like best about the product?
Webflow's UI is so much easier than it used to be, thanks to "Editor mode". To use Designer mode effectively, you still need some development or technical chops, even if it's mostly no-code - but I like that a clueless marketer like myself can still manage our website 95% of the time!
What do you dislike about the product?
Image resizing can really be a problem - it sometimes breaks logic on entire pages, which then need to be rebuilt. So not totally error-proof!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow is our entire website. It all runs there, and runs well.
Its very convenient for multiple departments to collaborate on webflow.
What do you like best about the product?
I like its accessibility. The way anyoje can learn, develop and start collaborating on digital solutions
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version should have more number of sites and pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design variety is great. We are able to make high quality animations
Intuitive, straightforward, and better for design
What do you like best about the product?
We moved over to Webflow from Wordpress, and what strikes me thus far about Webflow is how much more user-friendly it is. The hierarchy of information is easier to comprehend, the design tools are more easily accessible and offer better capabilities, and I'm confident in our ability to run a much cleaner website experience than we did on Wordpress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to publish small changes to the website without republishing all in-flight updates at once, but I think that might just be a learning curve thing. It's different than anything I've used before in that sense, but there are ways around it that make it work fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a better, more user-friendly option to Wordpress, and we found that in Webflow.
In my opinion, the essential tool for creating a website in 2024
What do you like best about the product?
- Clean Graphical Interface
- Clean Code Generated
- No brain server use
- Solid Growth (new features, CMS, ambitious vision, etc.)
- Friendly Community

What do you dislike about the product?
- Some classic no-code limitations in CMS (e.g. nested collections)
- Users and E-commerce features not robust or professional enough
- Users and E-commerce features not robust or professional enough
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rapid integration of design mockups. Simple to configure and use CMS
The base product is very good, but Webflow often doesn't think things through enough.
What do you like best about the product?
For context: We use Webflow daily in our agency and we work with Webflow since 5+ years.
- The base product (I call it "visual coding") is a huge time saver
- Components
- page building (not in the current state though..)
- Simplicity of hosting sites
- Community (the Forum, Finsweet, etc.)

What do you dislike about the product?
- Components have no support for background videos and lottie files in the properties
- Page building is not thought through yet:
- In Build mode there is no option to add links to a navigation (neither automatically, nor manually). This means that the clients of our agency can build new pages now with Build mode but they still have to call us to add a link to the navigation.
- In Build mode its not possible to add Components into Component Slots
- For us as an agency, the workflow for handling clients and client projects is messy and not thought through. If I want to give the client simple access to the Build mode, my client would have to create an account and I would have to transfer the project over to his account. Then he would need to invite me back into his workspace. And even then: The client has way too much power and possibilities to break the site, because he is the administrator of the Workspace.
It would be much better if we could invite our clients to Build mode like we can invite them to the old Editor. It would keep it very simple and the client only gets to see what he needs.
- No native CMS slider
- [Bug] All Images inside grids that dont have fixed width in pixels always load the lowest resolution version of the srcset.

Webflow enables us as a Branding Agency to develop Websites inhouse instead of handing over the Webdesign to an external programmer.
