A Tool That Lets Anyone Create Professional Websites

  • August 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Webflow is fairly intuitive and there are a lot of options for styling and content. Great for people who want to create and publish websites without a lot of coding knowledge necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's likely because of how my organization has Webflow set up, but adding and moving text blocks around can be tricky. I wish there was a format painter option to keep the format of one section the same as another while keeping them as separate elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow allows us to create templatized micro-websites without having to code it.

Webflow Makes Collaboration Easy for Non-Builders

  • August 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Webflow makes it easy for me to stay involved in the web design process, even though I am not the one building the pages. I work alongside a Webflow designer, and the platform lets me review progress, give clear feedback, and make small text or content changes without worrying about breaking anything. It strikes a great balance between technical execution and creative ideas, allowing me to focus on messaging, structure, and brand alignment while my designer handles the complex building work.

The interface is clean and intuitive, so it is simple for someone without a technical background to navigate. I also appreciate how quickly we can make updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is the lack of additional in-platform guidance such as tooltips or contextual help popups. While Webflow is generally intuitive once you become familiar with it, it is still a complex software with a steep learning curve for new users. Certain features and settings can feel overwhelming without immediate, accessible explanations. Although there is a help center and community resources, having more built-in prompts, interactive tutorials, or quick-reference guides within the editor itself would make onboarding smoother. This would be especially helpful for those who do not work in Webflow daily but still need to navigate it efficiently for reviews, updates, or light edits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem Webflow solves for us is that we wanted to modernize our website a few years ago, and it provided a solution that was both reasonably priced and feature-rich. As a small startup, we needed a builder that could deliver professional-quality results without requiring a large development team or a high monthly cost. Webflow offers the flexibility and tools we need to keep our site looking current and functional while staying within our budget.

Powerful No-Code Web Design Tool With Endless Flexibility

  • August 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Webflow is how it gives me full control over the design without needing to write code. It feels like I'm designing visually, but still building a real website under the hood. The interface is clean and once you get used to it, it makes a lot of sense. I also really appreciate how easy it is to make responsive designs and how fast the published sites load. The built-in CMS is a huge plus when working with dynamic content.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Webflow offers a lot of flexibility, there is a learning curve, especially for users unfamiliar with front-end development concepts like flexbox, z-index, or CSS classes. Pricing can also be a bit complex and on the higher side when scaling projects or adding multiple collaborators. Additionally, customer support could be faster and more accessible for urgent issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow is solving the problem of having to rely on developers for every design change or website build. It lets me go from idea to fully functional website much faster, without sacrificing quality or flexibility. I don’t need to hand off designs or wait on code to see results, which saves a lot of time and back-and-forth. It also helps with client work since I can build custom, responsive sites that are easy to maintain and update, even for people without a technical background.

What do you dislike about the product?
we can't create nested collections or fully relational databases, which can limit content structure flexibility.

A massive upgrade from Wordpress — cleaner, faster, and more fun to use

  • August 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Webflow strikes the perfect balance between flexibility and ease of use. It gives you the creative freedom of custom code without having to actually code (unless you want to). The interface is super intuitive once you get the hang of it, and it’s just way more enjoyable to work in compared to something like WordPress. No bulky plugins, no surprise theme limitations – just a smooth experience from design to launch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s definitely a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, especially if you’re coming from simpler site builders or even WordPress. It can feel a little overwhelming at first with all the layout and style options, but once you understand the box model and how classes work, it clicks. Also, CMS filtering logic could be more advanced, but they’re always improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow has completely eliminated my dependency on developers for simple website updates or launches. I can design, build, and publish fully custom pages all in one place, without waiting on anyone else or fighting with clunky plugins. It’s also made it easier to maintain consistent branding across pages because of how styles and components work. Overall, it’s saving me a ton of time and giving me way more creative control.

Great for web beginners

What do you like best about the product?
Although it takes a lot of time to master Webflow, or even feel comfortable in the program, once you get your bearings, it feels great to hop into a project and just start building
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a few bugs from time to time that annoy me. For instance every so often, you'll be unable to click into text to edit and will have to refresh the browser. Also the way webflow exports code can be a bit messier than I prefer, so we tend to clean up the code exports once we pull them into VSCODE.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to be extremely creative with our web designs for clients allowing a much more personable experience than Squarespace templates.

Webflow Made Me Stop Chasing Perfection And Start Creating Again

  • August 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I used to obsess over code. The kind of person who couldn’t hand off a single pixel without rewriting the whole thing in VS Code. But Webflow did something strange to me: it made me care less about perfection and more about momentum.

I didn’t expect that. I thought a visual builder would feel limiting or gimmicky. Instead, it made me faster creatively. Not because it did everything for me, but because it removed the noise between idea and execution.

The surprise wasn’t that I built a good site. It was that I felt more like a designer again, not just a technician. It reminded me that building things on the web can actually feel fun. Not perfect. Not "developer-approved." Just fun.

And weirdly, that was enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Webflow is how creatively dependent it can make you on the platform itself. Once you get used to building with Webflow’s system of thinking, its way of structuring layout, interactions, even animations, it gets harder to think outside of it. It’s not that it limits your creativity, but it quietly reshapes how you approach problem-solving. Over time, you start designing for Webflow instead of just designing. That influence can be hard to notice until you try building somewhere else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webflow solves the problem of disconnect between design and development. Instead of handing off static mockups or trying to explain interactions in words, I can build exactly what I envision and see it live immediately. That’s saved me time, frustration, and miscommunication. It also eliminates the need to manage hosting, updates, or plug-ins, which means I can focus purely on building and launching, not maintaining. For someone who wants creative control without the drag of a full dev workflow, Webflow feels like having design, development, and deployment all in one space - without compromise.
