Best no-code web design platform for everyone

  • April 16, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Webflow is by far the best no-code platform that anyone can use to build any kind of design they want. Webflow has every CSS property, every HTML element, and several interactions possible with CSS and JS. And all of this is possible without writing a single line of code. Unlike other website builders, Webflow does not use abstracted widgets and elements. Webflow gives you all of the barebones and core components that are possible with HTML and CSS. This is the reason why you can virtually build anything with Webflow because you are actually working with standard code components unlike other website builders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I don't like with Webflow is that you can not build super dynamic websites with it without using code. Webflow is very closed off right now and it does not have support for third-party plugins or applications that you can use to extend the functionality of it. For instance, the biggest selling point of Wordpress is its huge collection of plugins and integrations that you can use to build anything. If Webflow has such support and integration for 3rd party tools it would be unbeatable in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Webflow for the past 2 years now. Webflow has helped me a lot in developing pixel-perfect bespoke designs for myself and my clients. Webflow is also really easy to maintain and edit for my clients because of its cms features. Also, I am now able to design websites that are very interactive and with custom interactions built all without code.

The worst choice for SEO goals

  • March 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
No-code features for fancy separate landing page design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been a Webflow customer for three years until we started our content marketing efforts.
If you are building a business blog, knowledge base, or something other based on their CMS — it's a disaster.
Even you have any SEO goals — WebFlow is the worst chose you can make.
Webflow's CMS editor functioning like from '95:
- You have to compress images manually.
- No 'table' support or you have to write a code
If you need additional features like a table of contents, you can do it manually or add some JS that will slow down your page. Unfortunately, their support forum is overwhelmed with user requests to make some simple tweaks, and the replay is always the same: "it's not supported. Use that code snippet".
- their editor keeps crashing while working with large content. I've already lots my work twice for the last day.
- No SEO tools at all, like you may have with Ghost or Webflow.

Unfourninatly we have a significant cost to migrate from Webflow to WordPress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Website building and support. Benefits — only for landing page design.

The easiest web design tool EVER!

  • March 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As long as you have basic knowledge of HTML/CSS - webflow is the perfect tool to use. Super simple, straightforward, drag & drop design with the ability to fully customize. I haven't run into anything it can't do yet. I use it for my freelance clients and my own portfolio. The tutorials have made me a better designer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite a few different tiers for pricing, some features hidden behind additional paywalls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Easy to design and launch custom sites
- helps me better understand the principles of web design
- great tutorials, easy to get started

The bridge between design and front end development

  • March 13, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm seriously surprised by the capabilities of webflow. I was a little skeptical at first, but it genuinely is a GUI design tool that outputs a working website and or exports working HTML and CSS code. It makes design hand off and even design implementation extremely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found there to be a bit of a learning curve, but I think that's to be expected with any new tool. It did take me a little bit to get used to remapping the way I think about spatial relationships and objects, but once I had that down it was easy. Webflow provides a wealth of knowledge in their education library on everything as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're creating marketing pages to widen our conversion funnel. Sometimes we'll get an idea on focusing on a specific SKU or product, or it may be something ephemeral and season specific, so being able to to have the flexibility of designing and creating a quick landing page without engineering involvement has been a big game changer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think they're doing everything right actually. There's a wealth of knowledge in their education repository, and that's really where it requires some drive time to understand the platform, its capabilities, and help yourself. It's just a big of a gear shift for someone coming in like myself.

Building websites has been a breeze

  • March 11, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Logic-based workflows. I can make changes without any dependency or bottleneck of development resources that need prior scheduling and sprint planning. I'm avoiding all thsoe
What do you dislike about the product?
More comprehensive would have been better. Instead of just minimal-based website design. If I can make a PWA progressive web app with advanced developer level flexibility. I bet I will be a daily user of webflow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small team and getting quality developers for our budget has been really a bottleneck and the time we need to spend to get the resources doesn't make sense in 2022
Recommendations to others considering the product:
you can check multiple no code platforms . Im sure you will land to webflow in the end

    Marketing and Advertising

A former great begins to backslide.

What do you like best about the product?
It's an excellent tool for building websites that are custom in appearance. It has a nice set of tools, and it's a great place for beginner web designers. It's also a place where pro web developers can spend more time focusing on design, and less time worrying about implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Webflow always had poor support by today's standards. Not on par at all. Slow. Impersonal. Not particularly interested in solving your problems using their tools or navigating their byzantine pricing and subscription types. But actually, that was a tolerable problem. Two stars.

What is totally intolerable is their EXCEEDINGLY poor and progressively worsening understanding of the market, and the needs of their active fanbase. Their recent release of Workspaces, after months of promises, is a complete miss. And they're really not that interested in addressing it. Zero stars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can build sites quickly. It produces an attractive result, and in the right situations, it's a really good solution. Mostly for marketing/brochure sites that don't need a lot more than attractive presentation and clear lead generation flow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Until they start to listen better to the user base, I honestly can't recommend it.

They actually think they're a competitor to Wordpress. There's no way anyone can take that seriously. The hurdles that we've had to go through to simply share projects with our clients, the excuses we have to make for the absence of basic functionality, the exceptionally high price and lack of options for hosting...

No. I probably won't be recommending it again for a while.

We didn't know what was possible

What do you like best about the product?
Ellevest has been using Intellimize for about a year now and has been able to optimize and personalize our website better than we thought was possible previously. Our support team is top-notch. They are incredibly knowledgeable and not only support us in launching tests, but also come to the table with insights and ideas to further our goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when I feel it would be more helpful for our team to meet directly with analysts or developers on the Intellimize team rather than going through our account management team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are leveraging Intellimize to run multivariate tests on our marketing site. The insights we glean from Intellimize testing are being used in channels and platforms throughout the company and have helped us to better drive results all throughout the funnel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend users of Intellimize think about your current multivariate testing capabilities and the time it takes to gather learnings - the testing velocity with Intellimize is one of the greatest value propositions of the product.

"My Favorite Tool For Creating Stunning Websites"

  • February 16, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- webflow probably is oxygen builder however i think if you compare the two user interfaces webflow clearly wins in that regard with webflow you have granular control over pretty much every element on the page so even the tiniest things like if you want to have a mobile nav drop down you can control how that drop down animates you control what kind of easing you have if you want to create custom animations on either page scroll on page load you can do that with webflow.

- There is a free version available for those who are just starting their career in web design is a plus.

- Even some of the guys i know who are really into hand coding they only want to do it that way even they accept that webflow is actually the best tool of all of them and the reason for that is really because webflow is coding for you as long as you know how to correctly structure your websites and you correctly name all the classes within webflow it will be just as neat as if it was hand coded in the first place.
What do you dislike about the product?
- I have is is a steeper learning curve so when you're working with something like Elementor it's very drag-and-drop you've got section you've got a column you need drop in the columns you just click add new column and it just add new columns and automatically space them and it automatically adds padding to everything which I actually personally hate but if you were you know from a beginner standpoint it's it adds a bit of breathing space to the design so yeah so when you're building an element or it will seem easier to put something together the controls in.

-The problem I'm facing is the CMS limit even on a business plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- I am a professional web designer and funnel builder for small businesses ..so i help businesses grow their business online through my web design services in which webflow is my everyday tool to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Want to build stunning websites with ease and without coding knowlegde than your search ends here.

Intellimize Makes A/B Tests Easy & Insightful

  • February 14, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
"Sunbasket has used Intellimize for over a year. Their user interface is easy to use and understand. The insights are easy and they allow customization of events and goals. Their team helps with campaign Setup and optimizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ticketing interface can improve as they optimize their new interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sunbasket uses Intellimize for multiple types of A/B testing. They allow for standard A/B tests like CTA and Hero image tests but also more sophisticated tests like Form Submit tests, Hide/Unhide different parts of our website, Order of modules on our LPs as well as audience-specific variations and experiences which has enabled us to incorporate our seasonal campaigns into different parts of our LPs and Homepage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many great ways you can use Intellimize to improve your online KPIs. Don't just think of them as an A/B test tool. They can do a lot more and their reporting and optimization algorithm is sophisticated.
