NEO for NEw and Old
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using the NEO-LMS for around three years both prior to and during the pandemic. Its consistency to provide a connection between faculty and students has been proven to be very useful and efficient for all parties.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't seem to find anything that I dislike about NEO-LMS but just the notification bell that really does notify you when there's a new message or activity. You may tweak this at some point but I still prefer this since it does notify me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a work-from-home standpoint transitioning back to the face-to-face mode of teaching, NEO has made it easier for the students and faculty in terms of familiarity. With new incoming students, there is always a provision to navigate around NEO and exploration has been smooth so far. Training the students in NEO has always been beneficial and has further made their education and stay easier.
Matrix Review
What do you like best about the product?
Matrix's customer support has been excellent
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels not as intuitive at times as other LMSs I've worked with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in a different industry than most Matrix users, so our problems are a bit different - we are looking for ways to do workforce development using e-learning...
Great overall learning platform with powerful community tools
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, and community tools available (forums and groups) in the platform, eliminating the need for outside solutions using social media. As we serve a global student body, the fact that the platform itself is available in multiple languages is a great bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a bit complex to set up, but nothing major. Once you get the hang of the system, it is actually easy to understand and use. Not much to dislike, so this one is tough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been providing us with a great LMS for all of our teaching needs. Our business model hinges on having a great LMS and we're very happy we went with Matrix from the get-go as it really is a full solution to all of our needs.
I love Matrix LMS and the support team that they have.
What do you like best about the product?
The Matrix team is very helpful. When we have a problem, they are quick to offer solutions. Also, the report feature is great to get real-time feedback from our members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX is not the best for beginners. You cannot edit the layout too much in the Matrix portal. We would love to add an application to classes prior to enrolling in the class.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't think of a current issue we have that matrix is solving but they did help us set up our subscriptions for membership. We would love for them to add applications in classes as an option.
Matrix LMS review
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is good, displaying various things like courses, calendar, and links on one page.
What do you dislike about the product?
The path of a course is decent but a bit complicated to create compared to other LMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Matrix LMS solves the problem of keeping track of learners and their progress within courses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Matrix LMS is a good LMS but not a great one due to its higher cost and some complicated steps in setting up some course features.
An amazing platform and support system
What do you like best about the product?
Some of the features I like best about Matrix LMS include: A) the ability to have an unlimited amount of sub-organizations, B) create courses that can be copied and synced across all sub-organizations, C) the ability to embed the Immersive Reader for language translation and literacy features, D) a robust reporting ability, and E) the technical support and suggestions system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the things that I dislike about Matrix LMS is that the reporting feature is almost too robust. It is difficult to make sure I am getting the data I am needing. I don't like that Matrix LMS can not integrate with Clever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems we are solving with Matrix LMS is providing ubiquitous access to STEM resources to all K-12 students in a school district and the surrounding community.
User of Matrix for 7 years
What do you like best about the product?
A bautiful user interface, lots of great features
What do you dislike about the product?
Not usable for Proctorio (third party proctored exam)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to store content, self graded quizzes, many options for assessments
Matrix as our LMS Choice
What do you like best about the product?
Matrix’ simple and innovative interface enables easy navigation through the course which allows the learners to focus more on the subject matter and acquire the skills faster. This creates a positive employee experience leading to increased competence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though Matrix has a Curriculum that can be mapped to monitor competencies, the current features don’t support BCFG’s Career Pathing and Developmental Planning
Matrix is still developing its HRIS integration, as of now they are working on using our O365 credentials to make user access more convenient;
Employee data syncing will also need to be updated manually as they are still developing SAP support
Matrix is committed to offering new product features and enhancements based on the requirements and needs of the users. They also welcome new ideas to improve the overall LMS experience of the learners.

In a shorter period of time, instructional designers would be able to prepare customized content that is not only interactive but very engaging. Thus, we can deliver more targeted learning courses.
Its strong and flexible system will enable us to render backend support, generate data and analytics and deliver customized solutions which are all critical in ensuring the sustainability of our programs.
Matrix is able to address the different needs of the stakeholders (learners, designers, and administration) and enable us to provide better learning avenues for our employees.
