NEO LMS as helpful platform
What do you like best about the product?
The jivochat is very helpful especially for the teachers and students who have some concerns or questions in using the LMS and also as an educator, the message feature helps me to communicate with my students, the gradebook is very helpful to track the status of my students and also it includes MS Teams, Panopto and Immersive reader.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any problem with Cypher learning

NEO LMS helps me to do my teaching job easier.

Utilize NEO LMS because it can help you a lot especially in teaching and it could help you improve your skills.

It's extremely customizable. There's nothing else that really stands out about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to give an assignment, I have to click a ton of different functions (most of which I don't want to think about). The students have also had a lot of issues submitting assignments

Simply submitting assignments in the world of zoom.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the lessons feature, and that I custom build out what I need
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the grading is a little clunky. Figuring out how to drop/weigh grades different is a bit confusing. Also, the quiz feature is quite complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using NEO has facilitated the shift to emergency remote learning due to the pandemic. I appreciate the huge amount of bandwidth provided, since I upload lots of videos. L
For the price, you can do better.
What do you like best about the product?
The course layout is intuitive. Gradebook features are good -- video and audio feedback is possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Discussion boards are difficult/not intuitive. Programming each module is clumsy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used NEO for our graduate programs until two weeks ago. When we did a full cost-benefit analysis, it was not profiting our user base. We transitioned the entire undergraduate and graduate catalog of courses to Canvas as of the Summer 2021 term.
Easy and convenient access for Online Learning
What do you like best about the product?
NEO makes teaching and learning a piece of cake. Teachers and students find it easy to adopt and implement online learning through the use of this platform. Its 24/7 customer service is very reliable. It is also the LMS that is easy to customize. Access is flexible since we can open the platform with a mobile, pc, laptop, or tablet device. Executing the lessons with NEO is time-saving, designed to get out of your way, to let you do your thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about NEO is I cannot find any bad experience with NEO. The team that handles the NEO support consistently gives updates to its users and they continuously improve their service to their clients. Though there are announced system maintenance at times which users do not like, it does not create a major disruption to the implementation and access of the platform. They make sure that maintenance improvements are done during the hours when users are on a break.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have major problems with NEO. Minor problems would be the use of the NEO application through smartphone or tablet devices. But whenever I use NEO through the smartphone or tablet web browser, I also get the same easy access as when I access it through my pc. As an educator and an LMS coordinator, The simple and easy-to-use platform makes it easy to do collaborative learning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you plan to use NEO LMS, I would recommend that you get in touch with their representatives. They can give you a complete overview of the platform effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very economical and friendly. Even a young grader can follow. As a mattaer of fact, it was easy for us to transition from traditional to online learning as it was easy for our faculty to adapt to the platform.

For further improvement would be customizing the grade book based on the needs of the institution.

The problem was the apparent loss of data due to synching. But with Cypher Learning staff, it was retrieved.

- Grade Book helps me track my learners progress from the first test,
- I can upload resources to my students and organise them nicely into folders and sub-folders for east retrieval.
- Most of the features provide a platform for me as a teacher to customize my lesson
- The assessment tab does wonders, it is possible to give assignments in multimedia format
- I can out announcements to my students any time thus making communication seemless

Lesson Schedule requires a lot of setting up.

Communication barriers have been removed in our school community, every member of our staff is able to send out an announcement to everyone any time
Giving resources to students especially during this covid times that we have to limit the physical contacts.
Monitoring learners progress is easier, thus as a teacher i can give a very informed counsel to my students after studying their academic perfomance trend

Very Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The simple interface is excellent for ease of grading.

It is beneficial to use a large screen to work with it. It would be hard to maneuver on a small screen.
