Ease of transition and delivery of instruction through CYPHER Learning
What do you like best about the product?
CYPHER Learning has been very helpful in delivering our instructions to our students. It assures continuity of learning when face-to-face instruction is not possible. The plaform has very friendly features that even our preschool learners use the LMS almost everyday in their performance tasks. The features are very intuitive and interactive that made possible ease of implementation and integration of its use in our existing teaching-learning practices. The people in CL are also easy to deal with and are always ready to assist us when we need their help.
What do you dislike about the product?
None at the moment. Everything is running smoothly as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CYPHER Learning has been very helpful when the pandemic happened and the school was struggling to continue its instructional delivery. The problem of designing lessons using the platform was also solved through the trainings provided which in turn developed the skills of our teachers in using online platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
We run highly complex training programmes with diverse elements. We love the fact that the learning platform is comprehensive enough to carry out all our functions. The courses, accreditations, certifications. The automations are a great way to simplify the work.
The system is so extensive that it is quite difficult to learn at first. However, the support documentation is good and the response to questions is also very good and quick.
The title of the review is 'transformational' because it has enable d us to expand our operation - new learners are extremely impressed with what we have been able to build.

What do you dislike about the product?
We were disappointed to find we couldn't make the inbuilt e-commerce work for us. We use integrations which work ok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I enables us to structure our complex training programmes in ways that make it easy for learners and teachers to follow. It enables us to track competencies of both our teachers as well as students.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about CYPHER Learning is that navigating NEO LMS is easy and convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far, for the past 4 years of using NEO LMS under Cypher Learning, it has been helpful for lesson preparation and grading student outputs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their co-pilot feature, particularly the AI prompting for teachers, streamlines lesson planning and ensures smoother classroom engagement. This not only benefits educators by saving time and enhancing teaching effectiveness but also enriches my learning journey by providing tailored support and resources.
CYPHER Learning: It's Impact to Teacher Users
What do you like best about the product?
The term NEO wwas first introduced to us, and has been customized in order for the name of our school to be part of the website, which is great for allowing us to make it more personalized for the school.
I appreciate the user-friendly interface of CYPHER, which makes navigation and lesson management easy once done with the navigation training. In terms of implementation in class during orientation at the beginning of the school year, younger students are able to follow within a week with continuous guidance.
It is frequently used as it serves as a platform for communication and access to the learning materials, and can even check the time spent by a student in content pages. Parents are also able to track their children's activities and scores through the parent accounts.
The system also has the ability to embed or integrate other platforms used by teachers within its interface such as Google drive, Meet, Slides, etc.
In terms of test types, there is a variety within CYPHER. The automaticity in scoring, for some types, helps lessen the time of teachers in doing administrative work such as checking.
The customer support is also responsive to inquiries, even when there may be no resolution for the concern forwarded.
Overall, I am satisfied with my more than 3 years experience of using NEO/CYPHER Learning.

While CYPHER Learning works well for us, there are still notable disadvantages. One is the inability to generate quarterly attendance within the platform.
I've laso encountered errors during the syncing process where changes made in the parent class fail to reflect in the child classes even after it shows a notification that syncing is done.
Transferring a student is easy. However, even if the score and comments are copied, it does not transfer files submitted by the student from the previous class to the new class, losing a reference output, unless downloaded for back up. There are also instances when some scores are duplicated, though fixed when refreshed.
Another is the gamification feature which is not utilized as one might expect. Initially, my idea of the feature is that the assessment types may be customized as a game, not only as a leaderboard.
One may also get overwhelmed when announcements, comments, successful grading. etc. all appear in the notification. Some items may be more important which would be better if there's a separate icon of notification for it.
Accessing CYPHER learning is still easier using laptops or desktops. The mobile app sometimes does not show all the features so I uninstalled it before and instead used browser on the phone and click view as "desktop site".

CYPHER learning is trying to integrate AI in the system which may help educators in course creation. Although it does not exactly match yet our current set-up in creating lessons, based on initial presentation and trial, it still gives ideas to educators when tried.

I've had a positive experience with CYPHER Learning. It serves as an excellent platform for disseminating lesson content to students and parents. In the case of preschool, parents are the primary users, and guiding them through the platform to access lessons and submit tasks for their children is quite straightforward. Additionally, the platform facilitates effective communication and the sharing of announcements, making it a valuable tool.

While CYPHER Learning has its merits, there's room for improvement in its attendance feature. Customizing this feature to align with our school's attendance process would enhance its functionality. Similarly, refining the gradebook to better match our existing grading system would be beneficial. These modifications would contribute to a more seamless integration of CYPHER Learning into our school's specific requirements.

CYPHER Learning tackles challenges, fostering innovation and growth in light of the evolving artificial intelligence landscape. As AI becomes readily accessible, it is imperative for us to adapt and grow alongside it.

It is customizable and provides industry related free courses.

Requires content design skills to master the different features of the system.

Content creation is critical for our team and Cypher Learning has a handful of features and ideas in their platform.

Actually, it's not a problem. It's about the bulk upload of learners to be done by the instructors. We are just waiting for their instructions on when they can do the uploading.
Excellent Value, Responsive Staff, and Customizable Learning Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The staff members are fantastic! From the sales team to the help desk staff, they all have been incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and friendly. The product is exactly what we need at a reasonable price. We are a busy university with a variety of degree offerings and six term starts per year, and CYPHER Learning has gone above and beyond to help us customize our platform. We recently attached course and program outcomes to assignments using the competency tool in the system, and this will greatly enhance our assessment process for accreditation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of any downsides to CYPHER Learning. We have been very happy with the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CYPHER Learning is always willing to consider suggestions. Most recently, they create a number of new reports to assist with data analysis. This helps my team better understand areas that need attention, from curriculum adjustments based on compentency mastery, to grade checks and faculty audits for ongoing performance evaluations.
Great LMS
What do you like best about the product?
The platform can do a lot and allows for a lot of customisation of proceesess. It sufficeintly intuitive and easy to you and we were able to integrate it with our other systems. The tech supoort is excellent.

We have come across some system limitations that are specific to the way we operate. Some are resolved and others we work around.

We use this platform for our LMS to serve our face to face and online courses.
