What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that OutSystems speeds up the development process, which is essential for my software sales company. The platform's capability to eliminate the need for manual code writing significantly enhances productivity, allowing tasks to be accomplished more efficiently and reducing the time typically spent on debugging. Unlike traditional coding, OutSystems offers a visual environment that makes it easier and faster to troubleshoot issues, thereby streamlining the entire app development cycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of a folder structure for organizing server actions in OutSystems to be a drawback. This absence can lead to disorganization and makes managing server actions more cumbersome than necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use OutSystems to develop apps without manual coding, speeding up the development process and making debugging quicker.

What do you like best about the product?
I find OutSystems incredibly beneficial for developing both internal and external applications, like PTO apps, contracts bot, and price list management. The platform's low-code interface significantly accelerates development and reduces the need for extensive initial knowledge or time investment. I love the agents feature and how seamlessly it integrates with AI models, adding a layer of efficiency and intelligence to projects. The one-click publish feature is remarkable, streamlining the deployment process and reducing the complexity traditionally associated with publishing applications. I also appreciate the quality of the interface design, particularly when building apps, which enhances usability and efficiency. The training provided is of very high quality, making the initial setup streamlined and straightforward, which was a standout aspect in my onboarding experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that server and client actions on screen desperately need folders to better sort things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that OutSystems accelerates app development, reducing the need for extensive time and prior knowledge. The low-code interface and AI model integrations enhance productivity, making it easier to build internal and external applications.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the speed of development. Often, enterprise requirements between companies overlap. Being able to deploy prototypes so quickly greatly increases the rate at which value is produced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like many other AI platforms, the tools can be spotty at times. That is the price for efficiency at this stage of the technology.

What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate how OutSystems enables us to develop specific sign industry software in-house with a small team, quickly adding features and fixing bugs to keep the software smooth. I love the ability to bring ideas and concepts to production-ready states rapidly, which is crucial in maintaining a competitive edge. The integration capacity of OutSystems with different platforms into a single application has significantly improved our workflows, as illustrated by our successful development of a billboard reservations system. This integration prowess allows us to pull in various tools like Netsuite, QBO, and industry-specific APIs, streamlining our operations and ensuring we maintain a high level of efficiency. Moreover, the low-code environment OutSystems provides is often highlighted as a key benefit by my colleagues, making programming more accessible and reducing development time. The convenience and speed at which we can operate through OutSystems greatly enhance our productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the transition from our legacy code to ODC or React to be daunting. Despite OutSystems having all the necessary information to facilitate this transition, possibly with a tool like AI Mentor, the process feels overwhelming and cumbersome.

I find OutSystems allows us to quickly develop sign industry software with a small team, integrate various platforms, and bring ideas to production efficiently, enhancing workflow management for our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool has made my daily activities much easier, thanks to the agents and the many learning opportunities it offers. It has truly simplified my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, the only thing we need is to have them integrated into my applications.

It's very simple, and it solves everything while also saving some time.

What do you like best about the product?
Modernizing legacy applications. As we have a old legacy IBM main frame application built from 1997 this will be the best tool to modernize as a one place solution.

As a new user at this point I am satisfied with the tech.

Rapid Development, But Room for Improvement in Platform Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use OutSystems primarily for the development and maintenance of our company's internal software and mobile apps. I appreciate the incredible efficiency and flexibility it offers in terms of speed and reusability, which are major challenges in development. The platform allows me to quickly create different products and test them, significantly enhancing my ability to debug and refine them into more robust offerings. This process is remarkably time-efficient, enabling me to focus more on testing and refining rather than spending excessive time on writing and creating. OutSystems helps ensure my applications are stable before moving to production and facilitates a high rate of development within a shorter timeframe. Additionally, the platform was easy to learn, thanks in part to their certifications and boot camps, which made the onboarding process smooth for me after I joined the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest hurdle with OutSystems is the difficulty in developing between ODC and O11. I've had to build numerous REST APIs to connect these two different platforms, which complicates the development process. Additionally, the user management in ODC is inferior compared to O11. In O11, I have direct access to our production data, whereas in ODC, I do not. This limitation requires me to create an app just to view my production data instead of being able to query it directly.

I use OutSystems for developing and maintaining software, benefiting from speed, reusability, and efficient testing processes, which allows for more precise product iteration.

What do you like best about the product?
Outsystem is the platform that helps us in building new applications for our business and these applications are completely customizable according to our needs. With the premium features of outsystems we are able to create customer centric mobile applications within hours. And it's drag and drop feature makes it more easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working on this platform needs very less knowledge of coding for developing applications but still if you want to understand it's dynamic range of features you will have to get proper training and understand about each and every part of this tool so that you can work efficiently and use it to it's max potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The computer system from which you are want to access outsystems needs to have good data processing power because this software mainly develops applications on it's cloud storage and for running this tool properly offline on laptop will consume a lots of storage. It is a great platform for businesses who want to automate their systems.

The ease of learning to work with the tool and the speed of software development.

Access to training is somewhat limited for various languages, it doesn't make learning impossible, but it makes it difficult.

Constantly, new widgets and components are created that assist in development. The builders themselves are making the tool more robust for efficient development.
