Great conference

  • June 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Covers the whole spectrum of apps, from three minutes ready to go simple app to very large and complicated business app
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limited options to integrate code into the platform (I understand it is a design choice but a great deal of flexibility is lost here)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company uses Outsystems for internal use. Our current focus is migrating silo'ed business practices in departments and legacy systems (spreadsheets, microsoft access) into Outsystems apps.

What do you like best about the product?
That the focus on the development team is always the client's needs and not the discussion on what tech stack to use
What do you dislike about the product?
For some potential clients it might be a bit pricy, so it's really not a product that reaches everyone
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing applications in outsystems allows me to focus on the client's needs and their core business

OutSystems: Fast Development And Valuable Deliveries

  • June 05, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems is a very helpful plataform in our company: we develop lots of applications quickly and we make deliveries that are valuable to our internal and external costumers easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that support teams don't go that deep on solving open support cases. Sometimes, they made the cases so difficult that we quit and we work in workarounds instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The plataform is our central universe when we talk about digital transformation. Our developers work to delivery applications to enhance all business areas and this is huge for us. We solve problems for HR (employee journey), industry (material traceability), sales and customer journey (B2B and B2C apps), etc.

Want to become a developer but no programming skills no worries LCNC is the platform to become....

  • May 26, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is such a platform which saves the time of developers... An application can be created in a limited time. It is not necessary that one should be from an IT background non IT users can also use it...
It has an accelerator which indeed accelerates the development of the application, there are many inbuilt templates which can be used and just replace with the data that we have
What do you dislike about the product?
It provides only 2gb of free database space... And few times the IDE( service studio) lags very much and takes long time to publish the module.

Though the knowledge of SQL is not needed if we need complex query then we have to have the SQL knowledge
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The drang and drop property help the developer to save his time. It takes lots of time or huge lines of code just to display the data in data and the sort, pagination property but in Outsystems just drag the entity to the main and all functions will be ready in just 1 or 2 minutes.

The product could be delivered more faster using LCNC in comparison to other traditional development

What do you like best about the product?
Working with OutSystems helps us to provide our employees and customers with a solid system.
Changes are made quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Architecture is not enforced, so we have to monitor our developpers, because it is very easy to do it wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We build a new system to replace the old legacy system.

Introduction to low code software development with OutSystems

  • May 18, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the library of pre-built components that OutSystems has to offer. Being able to create functional interfaces is so much easier compared to other development methods, and having access to existing widgets, templates and actions makes our code both more robust and easier to maintain in the future. The Forge store allows us to grab unwanted components from applications we've already built rather than starting from scratch, which can save a lot of time! Even if all these features weren't amazing enough, it's always great to be part of such an active community where your questions are answered in no time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that the development environment within OutSystems, Service Studio, has a slower response time than higher code IDEs. In addition, custom features that are not included in the standard features can be difficult to build and time consuming to create. Finally, it seems that certain community-driven enhancements are overlooked in favor of more profitable short-term goals instead of being prioritized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm benefiting from OutSystems because it helps me reduce costs and increase revenue by enabling me to deliver digital products faster with fewer resources. This agility gives me a competitive advantage and ensures that I stay ahead of technological advances.
