What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful thing about outsystems has to be its ai based development..which makes easy to debug the application and also about reverting to previous version if any errors caused
What do you dislike about the product?
some times service studio acts weird some clicks dont work until i restart the service study

lately outsytems has brought up a major update in its ui and it has become much better than before and lot of new widgets and components are also added to achieve the functionality we need

What do you like best about the product?
The drag and drop functionality of the Outsystems is one of the best things. The interface maintained for development is well maintained and understandable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yeah. The latest update of outsystem service studio seems to be not good and gets stuck a lot. Also some of the advanced features of Outsystems can have a handful of resources.

With outsystems applications are easy to build.

What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems is very easy to learn, enterprise ready, awesome training and documentation material. Whenever you get stuck, then there is the OutSystems community, which is the most active IT community I have ever used.

It is for enterprise, so for smaller-sized companies, it might be a hefty price to use OutSystems.

Things have changed; everything is moving faster now, and I’ve learned new things along the way.

Optimized times to build features
What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which functionalities can be built. The reusability of components makes a difference in having a speeding process. Also, the catalog of widgets pre-made.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations currently about aggregates, which in some occasions need to be changed to advanced SQL. Also, the limited information on managing records directly from ServiceStudio
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unit testing for single actions, the same way we can test an aggregate or an SQL advanced query now. This allows faster testing of a full feature by validating their elements
Easy learning and implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Since the platform itself is providing many valuable training courses along with exercisie practices, it's easy to learn and develope application on your own. Along side the forum available is really helpful to clarify all kind of doubts from experienced learners. You can make a full funtional web/mobile app using the funtionalities giving your application an amazing UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service studio sometimes take too much time to open and lags a lot.
Also while using the merge and publish option, it's removing the logic (implemented by the other developer) completely. So introducing an easy way to retrive the different versions of publish in service studio in the time of developement would be really helpful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outsystems is saving a lot of time while developing an application, since we are able to work on both front end and back end simultaneously. Also the easy learning process has been helpful in implementing long typed codes by small outsystems logics.

There are many feature that are available in Outsystems such as pre-build applications for various domains, forge , forum and support functionality and many more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Considering the dislike points in OutSystems are not major but few are there. Recent Service studio UI is not as eco-friendly as like before. I loved the old and if there is an option to choose the version, I'll choose the old service studio UI.

There are various points that are considered when compared with other competitive software. Outsystems have the capability to build applications in low time when compared to others.
One small step for a senior, one giant leap for a junior
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who does not have a comprehensive background in the IT, OutSystems has made it possible for me to actually develop complex applications and progress with an amazing speed. The visual approach to logic etc. really works for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since OutSystems is still a relatively niche solution, it can be difficult to find help and/or resources online. (Sometimes you just don't have time to write a Forum message and wait for an answer.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems has given me, a complete junior and newbie to the IT, a change to build sales-worthy applications. The learning paths (online) have meant more to my knowhow than anything else on my career.
