Complete free version and community support that makes a difference
What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibility of testing the main functions of the tool in the free version, in addition to the support offered by the community.
What do you dislike about the product?
Throughout the time I used Flyway, I did not find any negative points worth mentioning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Flyway to execute SQL scripts on databases, thereby maintaining version control in an organized and consistent manner.

What do you like best about the product?
The Redgate Database migrations make it easy to work with multiple people on the same locally hosted database
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful feature tends to be Flyway’s rollback/undo support
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Redgate Flyway is solving the problem of keeping database schemas consistent across multiple developers’ local environments. In a group project where everyone runs their own local database, it prevents differences in table structures, columns, and constraints from creeping in.
This benefits me by:
Ensuring everyone’s database is at the same version
Automatically applying schema changes in the correct order
Eliminating manual setup and “works on my machine” database issues
Making database changes reproducible and predictable across the team

What do you like best about the product?
Speed of much DB deployments can be made
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like the ability to apply wildcard patterns to certain databases for migration rules, as we have a lot of databases, so having them each as environments doesn't work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving issues with bad SQL or untested SQL as we can make a schema change quickly and our CI will run through a DB deployment from start to finish to test our schema scripts and all migrations, all within minutes. DB changes used to take us hours, now they take minutes.
Easiest, Most Comprehensive Database Schema Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's the easiest and most comprehensive database schema management tool I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of clarity around how best to manage rollbacks. Lack of best practices (i.e. discrete DDL, DML, DSL users), etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting continuous delivery by managing database schema migration easily and clearly

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it enables develops, data architects and DBAs to collaborate. It also ensures that only approved changes make it to the database.
What do you dislike about the product?
While relatively simple to administer, one more tool does cost time. However, the benefit outweighs the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us control how is updating the objects in our databases as well as keeping track of the changes themselves. The workflow is really easy to understand and we can get from proposed change by a developer to an approval (fixes) by data arch, to approval by a DBA within minutes.
Flyway is easy to use, easy to implement

You can put SQL scripts directly into a folder to run migration scripts as opposed to using a library to send queries to a server.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited in its fearures if we want to have a intricate rollback system

Profiling! Works like a charm for me
As it helps me to migrate the + setup test env db or dev env db in minutes as in my use case seeded data for app was very different on staging,dev, prod env.

We can have integrated test workflow for entire app deployment life cycle example : migrate test moc db when app is building.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basic problem was to have seeded data for application which is committed for all env so that we can easily migrate or rollback

The ease of integration with Jenkins and usage.

Nothing really. All that matters to me is performance and FlyWay is right on target.

I am ommiting manual efforts and hence manual errors while performing a DB activity in Prod.

in no matter of time u can make u wrk easier, jst migrate urself to flyway
light n wasy to install
What do you like best about the product?
the best thing is that it is light and does not require any heavy hardware for installation .Also the configuration is so simole just like plug n play and easy to maintain versions using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
it does not have any GUI and review apply history is sometimes a little cumbersome.

version maintenance and includes the flyway deployment along with jenkins pipeline to automate overall environment release.
