The people make the product

  • June 27, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Docebo's team of talent worked alongside us every step of the way to support successful delivery of our WBT goals. They customized our learning plan, provided a high degree of support, and shared best practices to ensure we were set up correctly from the start.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do not have any dislikes to report. It was difficult having now LMS administrator experience, yet with Docebo's team of talent, we received the support we needed to meet our goals!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to delivery training just-in-time differentiated to individuals in various departments. Our Global Support Organization was the first to recognize the value of Docebo. Since Bootcamp implementation, they've seen a reduction in ramp time from 11 months to 90 days, and seen increases in NPS and case closure rates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Many LMS platforms deliver similar features, Docebo's differentiator is the people!

Docebo Review

  • June 26, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How adaptive Docebo is and how much the team continues to innovate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system does not let you go “back in time”. There is nothing set up to auto enrol people from things they no longer need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve driven a much higher learner engagement with Docebo. It allows us to use gamification elements, notifications and surveys all within the system allowing our Docebo platform to be the hub of learning for our organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a solid plan about what you want to achieve. While adaptive, it can be cumbersome to “undo” what you have done to move in a different direction. (Ie change learning plans, you will still have old users in associated courses until you manually remove them from each course)

Partners in performance

What do you like best about the product?
It's beyond the brilliantly designed user experience or even the cutting edge technology that continues to be push the bar of whats possible. What I like best is the partnership and the people. Ive always felt important and a part of development of the platform. Feedback is always taken and they really invest in making the platform work for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so much in development and a strong platform its hard to say i dislike anything. There is functionality i would like to see but the roadmap that is shared looks promising.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Originally it was an engaging platform that would drive adoption. This was successful and what we realized is content being the next phase to that adoption strategy. Content that goes beyond role or compliance to personal growth.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Docebo is! We were able to take the platform and make it our own. The highest complement I get from our customers is that it's user friendly. The Docebo platform is easy for any level learner to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for the reporting features to be improved! We have a lot of customers who request reports and right now all you can get from Docebo is an exported CSV. Although, it's filled with useful information, the design of it leaves something to be desired. It would nice if I didn't have to use an API to get my reports to be readable. Thankfully, I have brought this up to the Docebo team and they have it on the road-map to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Docebo as learning platform for people outside of our organization to learn more about the products we sell.

Using Docebo to Access Existing Learning

  • June 26, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The customization options for Docebo's homepage and UI are huge factors for our organization. We care about our brand and look and feel, and needed that level of customization. Also, the ability to cluster courses in different ways for different audiences is fantastic
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting does leave a little bit to be desired. I would love if they had more options for custom reporting. The data exists in the system, we just need to get it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Docebo is a powerful tool for allowing our organization to share training across departments, and to enable our learners to engage in their learning socially. Docebo has already helped us communicate on a more global training strategy

Friendly, global, but room for improvement

  • June 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Docebo have a very uder/customer friendly approach. Our Customer Success Manager is always there for us and open to listen to any issue/feedback we have. He is always very optimistic and enthusiastic, constantly trying to keep us in the loop.
What do you dislike about the product?
unfortunately, there have been moments (issues) where Docebo has not been able to provide us with what we need (e.g. running platform on older Android devices, gamification badges on mobile, branded app support)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Docebo is our first LMS provider

Customer-first experience

  • June 24, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Amazing implementation and helpdesk team
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features seem more like bugs such as course ratings filter (see ticket 92081) and auto enrollment in all courses in a learning plan skews report results (see ticket 96466)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greater UI flexibility and course building depth
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pay for the implementation expertise. It was well worth it.

Phenomenal Knowledge Base - So easy to find information and how-to data!

  • June 23, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Docebo Knowledge Base is hands-down the best I've ever seen, supporting an LMS. When the product rolls, there's zero lag between the product functionality, and the knowledge-base. This made it possible for us to train our top-level administrators within a matter of weeks, instead of months. The ability to rapidly find answers for yourself, will result in YOU being in control of the data flow. You're only limited by your imagination on how to use the Docebo solution.

EDIT: I've now used the solution for 2 years. Docebo just gets better and better. They have changed their development model to be more "agile" and deliver major functionality about every 6 weeks. Improvements feel like they're constantly coming into the system, making things more intuitive, easier to use, and delivering world-class functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Docebo's Cloud-based solution means that all changes that you're "hoping for" have to be carefully vetted against all their current clients. This is fantastic, in that we have very little disruption to our solutions, but often means the solution we're looking for has to "wait" until enough customers also want it!
I wish there was a simple button on the staging area that you could click that would show you upcoming changes. Instead the admin menu says, "New" and you have to basically go dig into the menus to figure out what changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Docebo to enhance our Instructor Led Training with Blended-Learning approaches. Now, instead of a facilitator doing all the teaching, instructors can direct learners to E-Learning modules within the solution, and courses. Our Learners LOVE being able to come back for the data, time and again, after the course is completed. It's stored in one simple location for them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Review the Knowledge-Base. It's one of the most incredible "little known" functionalities. You'll be up and running in NO TIME!

Many great functions, continuous updates and decent communication

  • June 23, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. The platform offers many functions: gamification, automatic groups, enrollment rules, wide variety of notifications and more
2. When needed, they bring experts to discuss certain topics and future updates
3. For very basic level questions, their support is pretty good, they respond fast
4. Being able to create custom pages using widgets, HTML and CSS
5. Easy integration with Google Analytics
6. Sometimes they ask us for our feedback regarding a certain functionality - it is appreciated (but in the end I'm not sure how much of impact it has)
7. It's easy to control partial admin rights for other users (Power Users)
8. In general, very flexible platform - without skills, you can make your LMS look very professional
9. Over the years, communication greatly improved. Docebo Community and montlhy release updates are fantastic
10. Updates are now more regular and communicated better which is a big plus
11. When you find your way around the platform, there are many things possible with workarounds. It's not ideal but the amount of things you can figure out is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Very hard to push any ideas. Everything has to go through the Ideas Portal which is discouraging.
2. Some delays with certain update releases.
3. Their support isn't great when it comes to harder questions or when there are bugs. Sometimes they claim something works as intended only to admit later that it's not and it's a bug.
4. Many updates seem meaningless. There are functions that haven't been updated in years (some even in 5 years!).
5. You can often notice that some options were updated in one part of the platform only, whereas it's lacking in the other part (e.g. enrollment to Course vs. enrollment to Learning Plan).
6. No reports for the standard mobile app.
7. Branded Mobile App is way too expensive for little functions it offers.
8.. When creating custom pages, some widgets are missing (e.g. my team, gamification, more statistics from my profile).
9. Creating tests and surveys is good not ideal - some basic options are still missing and no changes are being implemented.
10. Our Customer Success Manager changed 5 or 6 times in total. 4 - 5 changes were just last year...
11. Connected to point 3 and 10 - they seem to have a big employee rotation. All new employees just don't know as much about their platform and very often I find myself knowing more than them in some cases.
12. To be fair, there's a lot of focus on functions that you need to pay additionally for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to the APIs, we're able to take creating course reports to the next level. Gamification helps us keep our employees motivated. Additionally, being able to customize the look and feel of the platform. Thanks to the Extended Enterprise, we can create multiple platforms easily.
