What do you like best about the product?
Once set up it is easy to use. They help[ed with set up and are always there when i have questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we are small and i dont use the interface alot, I forgot about how to do things but they always help, which is nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confidence that everything is there is i need a backup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dont wait and risk not having what you need protected.

Great online backup solution

What do you like best about the product?
Online laptop Backups are happening without any user interference. Configuring and installation of backup solution is very simple and User friendly, User not required to configure what needs to backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Faced challenges while replacing the Laptop. After replacement, it took 3 days to list for the restore option which is very dissatisfying for us,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laptop users are used to roaming across the world as per their work , This application will more helpful for this kind of user. Anywhere in the world laptop backup will continue to happen with cloud servers without any issue.

What do you like best about the product?
ease of use and integration with Azure blob under the covers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of yet to dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exchange backups were painful. O365 backups are smooth and we get per mailbox now every 8hr.. which is nice.

Backup *should* be simple and comprehensive

What do you like best about the product?
Metallic is an enterprise-level backup using the same Commvault backup/disaster recovery solution that major companies globally use today, but it's designed for easy deployment into the modern workplace; remote employees. I set it up at my home on my Macintosh and PC within minutes, immediately it began to back up data and soon I had a full backup in the Azure cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been in the backup and storage industry for over 20 years, starting with ArcServe and Cheyenne, so I'd like an advanced console for those that hanker for a bit more customizing.

A "nice to have" would be the ability to restore into a virtual machine in either Azure or AWS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The home PC (or Mac) is incredibly vulnerable to data loss and deployment of cloud solutions like iCloud, Onedrive, or Dropbox aren't as widespread or easy as they should. Metallic Endpoint's default configuration starts with the most common places on a PC that need to be backed up; Documents, pictures, user directories, etc. Too much emphasis is placed on recovery of the whole machine when only a small part of it is critical; your personal data.

Also, Metallic Endpoint allows a user to do what backup administrators have been dreaming of for YEARS; restore their own data. In a study I was part of at a previous employer, we discovered that most of a backup admin's time is consumed by completing file restores from individual users. Frequently, it was for a file that hadn't been backed in a timely fashion or at all.

What do you like best about the product?
Enterprise-grade Backup & Recovery and the SaaS software evolves each month. The Customer Success team has been great!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to order the software direct from Commvault versus having to go through a partner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my critical assets backed up & secure.

Metallic Office 365 Backup is a easy to setup, easy to use backup

What do you like best about the product?
Love that this is a SaaS product. Backups work great, no issue. Cost is very minimal. No charges for Storage or Egress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation is just to do a basic backup. More detailed backups require help from support, but support is Awesome!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the process of moving all file server information to SharePoint and OneDrive. Metallic provides to solution to allow us to backup this information quickly and reliably.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely do a 30 day trial. You will not be disappointed.

Robust tool to handle all the work loads

What do you like best about the product?
Commvault is very systematic and all in one tool. it has all the advanced feature required even though it has traditional tool. keeping up with time is the great thing with commvaullt
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are a beginner in commvault then it looks complicated and not user friendly

We were able to backup all the type of workloads including physical, virtual, application and cloud

If you are not worried about the license price then it is the best solution to protect your data

What do you like best about the product?
The company has a very rich and full integration and support list, which I find to be a key factor for the brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's still a little bit easy to use and eat, but I think they are taking great steps in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Both people are trying to bring the best possible product experience from technology to customer support, and they are really doing that.

Talk about you and build the material to help disaster recovery scenarios.

Easy to use and I can find everything I need.

What do you like best about the product?
Commvault support a huge range of hardware and software platforms for backup.
There is continual innovation of features, and expanding support for new systems.
The technical support team are very good
The user community surrouding the product are also engaing
The licensing model has recently been overhauled and simplified
What do you dislike about the product?
The product can feel complex and prone to being particular and throwing errors. This is due to the large and far reaching nature and interactions with systems it is backing up.
The logs do contain all the information you need, but can equally be overwhelming and time consuming to fully understand - however that does promote a better understanding of the product and the systems you are backing up!
