Structured, clear, and efficient – Kertos impresses in everyday life

What do you like best about the product?
What particularly impressed me was the warm and structured onboarding. From the first conversation, it was noticeable that at Kertos, team spirit, openness, and a genuine "we'll get through this together" mentality are lived. Our IT manager was also enthusiastic from the first contact – the customer support was consistently professional, fast, and at the same time pleasantly personal on a direct "you" level.

Furthermore, Kertos impresses with a modern compliance solution that enables easy implementation of standards like ISO 27001. The user-friendliness of the board is particularly noteworthy: it is clearly structured, intuitive to use, and facilitates the structured planning and processing of open tasks.

Another plus point is the large number of functions and the simplicity of integrating various tools and platforms. This allows Kertos to be flexibly integrated into existing systems. The frequency of use in everyday work also shows how well the tool is received – it is used regularly and with noticeable added value for the entire team. The implementation after onboarding also sounded very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions could be designed to be a bit more intuitive, and occasionally the implementation of small adjustments takes a bit longer. An even easier handling would also be desirable when integrating new tools – overall, however, these are only minor points in an otherwise very positive overall impression.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A central business problem was to clearly structure our compliance requirements – especially with regard to ISO 27001 – and to transparently track the progress of open tasks. Kertos helped us to clearly map these processes, assign responsibilities, and efficiently handle to-dos. Through the central platform, we save time, avoid duplicate work, and always keep an overview of the current status. This way, we benefit from significantly higher transparency and a structured, comprehensible implementation of our compliance goals.

Super onboarding and modern compliance solution

What do you like best about the product?
What particularly impressed me about Kertos was the truly heartfelt onboarding: From the first conversation, it was clear that team spirit, openness, and a "we'll get through this together" attitude are lived here. Our IT manager was also thrilled from the first contact – the support was very professional and at the same time on a friendly, direct "you" level. Furthermore, Kertos scores with a modern compliance solution that allows standards like ISO 27001 to be implemented in a structured and efficient manner. The board looks very user-friendly and it's easy to work through the individual open to-dos, which makes it easy to plan and implement open tasks in a structured way. I was also positively impressed by the number of tools/platforms that could be integrated. The implementation and use of the platform was very simple and frequently used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can honestly say I have nothing negative to report. Both the collaboration and communication were consistently professional, friendly, and straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There was no actual problem. Kertos greatly supported us in preparing for the ISO certification. The platform significantly facilitates the structuring and tracking of compliance requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
Kertos made a good, competent impression from the start. After the first meeting, they immediately arranged a meeting with a reference customer so that we could get first-hand information.

The onboarding process went smoothly, the software is excellent, and the AI tool and the policy maker deliver good results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps closer collaboration at the beginning of the project would be desirable. However, all questions are answered quickly and competently.

What do you like best about the product?
At Kertos, we get our complete compliance from a single source. We felt that Kertos optimally meets our needs as a European AI startup in the healthcare sector. The consulting and support are fantastic. The onboarding is super easy and the platform is extremely intuitive.

Kertos has saved us a huge amount of time and we no longer have to constantly worry about European regulations. It makes our lives much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I can't complain about anything. Compliance is generally always annoying, but with Kertos, everything is finally organized and simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kertos removes any complexity from compliance. In particular, having everything from a single source and in one place makes the difference for us.

What do you like best about the product?
found that the step-by-step instructions made it easy for me to fulfill the individual points relating to ISO 27001. The document templates are also helpful. I particularly like the feature for designing and managing policies, as well as the ability to share them directly with our employees and to check who has confirmed which policies and completed which training courses.

At first, it took me some time to find my way around Kertos, but after a short while I was able to quickly work with and navigate all of its features. From that point on, it was an enormous support and also contributed to me feeling confident in many aspects of the audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
During the time I used Kertos extensively and actively, changes were made to the system from time to time, which confused me at times. Nevertheless, customer service always helped me quickly, and it was also easy to submit a report directly via the website. Problems were often resolved very quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Guided me through the entire process of implementing an ISMS, right through to successful ISO 27001 certification.

Managing compliance requests becomes efficient while peace of mind increases

What is our primary use case?

Our main use case for Kertos is managing GDPR requests and pretty much anything around compliance in our company. A day-to-day use case would be that a customer requests information about PII that we store about them or requests deletion of the data, and Kertos helps us manage those requests and respond to them very efficiently.

We also use Kertos for managing a catalog of all our GDPR relevant tools, which includes all the software we have. We use their auto detection feature to help us navigate the software that our company uses, whether we know about it or not, and Kertos really provides the documentation that's required from us from a regulatory point of view.

How has it helped my organization?

Kertos has been pivotal to us evolving from a compliance-conscious to a fully compliant organization that does not only take GDPR and compliance seriously, but has the tools and data to act on any related challenges arising. Having a complete overview of requests, issues, and deadlines in one dashboard has substantially increased the trust of internal and external stakeholders into our ability to deliver on all regulatory demands in our current environment as well as established confidence that we will be able to meet future demands should regulations change. 

What is most valuable?

The best features Kertos offers include the efficiency around having all our tools connected in one place, which gives us access to all the GDPR requests in one tool instead of in dedicated silos. Kertos makes it very easy for us and very time efficient to manage all things GDPR and compliance.

Having everything in one place has helped our team by making the legwork in the GDPR and compliance field very efficient for us. Our team can focus on more strategic initiatives and really on the structure. They have way more time to focus on specific edge cases rather than spending the day doing the legwork, and this has saved our company quite a bit of money that we would otherwise have had to spend on additional resources.

Kertos has positively impacted our organization by saving us time; without Kertos, to work on the volume of GDPR and compliance topics that we incur day-to-day, we would have to employ at least two or three more people full-time. This is definitely a huge saving on that end. Beyond that, Kertos has really given us a lot of confidence and peace of mind around compliance and GDPR topics because as a manager, I can simply log in and have all compliance and GDPR topics in one dashboard. I am definitely on top of things and know what's going on, whether we're compliant or whether we have open issues that we need to tackle, which has really helped us in terms of confidence and also ultimately our customers, as they can rely on fast responses in time-sensitive matters.

What needs improvement?

Kertos is already on a very good track of developing additional features that allow for automation, making it even easier to stay on top of things; so there isn't really a specific wish that we have at this time.

I do not have anything else to add about the needed improvements or something that could be enhanced in the future as our company grows, but of course it will be interesting to see how the already implemented AI features continue to evolve and further support automation in the compliance space.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working in my current field for six years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Kertos is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Kertos's scalability is seamless; I think we could grow by 10x or even 50x, and Kertos would scale with us seamlessly.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is very good, with response times usually in the area of minutes rather than hours, and they are extremely helpful.

I would rate the customer support a nine on a scale of one to ten.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

For some areas that we now use Kertos for, we previously used a self-built solution, and for other parts, we used a different third-party provider, which turned out to be way too expensive.

How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that it was really straightforward. The entire pricing structure is very transparent, and it was very clear to us upfront what we would be paying month to month. The setup was done in a breeze; we simply had to set up our account and then use one-click integration to connect Kertos to our tools.

What was our ROI?

I have certainly seen a return on investment from using Kertos. We believe that we save around two or three full-time equivalents, so the ROI is at least 4x.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Kertos, we evaluated other options that we ended up not going for because they did not integrate deeply enough into our tools but were more educational.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using Kertos is to get a demo in order to really understand how to use Kertos, because the product can do a lot of things, and it helps to have a firsthand view on how Kertos works and what you can do with it.
