Professional, uncomplicated, and efficient!
What do you like best about the product?
The platform makes it incredibly easy for us to efficiently map compliance-specific issues even as a small company. The topic of internal information security is thus checked off! Customer support also leaves nothing to be desired.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been a customer for two years now. Initially, the platform was still more rudimentary - however, the development speed of Kertos is truly impressive, which is why I can't really mention any points of criticism.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: The compliance requirements are a huge challenge for us in Germany. Kertos helps to shed light on the matter and is an efficient solution to properly cover the topic.
The right way to solve your GDPR process!
What do you like best about the product?
Kertos made it simple to manage multiple frameworks from one place – GDPR, ISO 27001, and now even the EU AI Act through a cross-sell. The AI-CISO Kaia is a huge time saver, giving instant, reliable answers that would normally require a specialist. We’ve saved significant resources by consolidating everything into their platform instead of juggling separate vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I’d love to see from Kertos is even deeper integration with some of our existing tools, so we can push and pull data without any manual steps. The current setup already streamlines compliance massively, but tighter connections would make it almost effortless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to handle compliance for different regulations without building a big in-house team. Kertos gives us the coverage and automation to do it all efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
We initially worked with Kertos for our ISO 27001 certification and were extremely impressed by their expertise, structured approach, and commitment to delivering results. The team made a complex process feel smooth and manageable, guiding us every step of the way through weekly check-ins with clear communication and actionable advice.
Because of this great experience, we have since engaged Kertos for GDPR compliance and AI Act readiness as well. They consistently bring deep knowledge, practical solutions, and a proactive mindset to every project.

What do you dislike about the product?
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be to enhance the user experience in their Kertos platform. While it's a helpful way to document and keep oversight of various components, it could be a little more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kertos takes the complexity out of compliance by handling the heavy lifting for ISO 27001, GDPR, and AI Act requirements. Their expertise and ready-to-use frameworks save us countless hours, letting us focus on running the business while staying fully compliant.
Efficient ISMS solution for ISO 27001 – particularly suitable for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is modern, clearly structured, and very easy to use, which significantly simplifies the implementation of ISO 27001 requirements. Particularly helpful is the clear division into modules and templates, which saves a lot of time in documentation and tracking. Kertos can be well adapted to internal processes, and the existing integration options facilitate data exchange with other systems. The support responds quickly and competently, and the product is rapidly evolving – problems are addressed promptly and often resolved in the short term.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features could be made more intuitive, especially with more complex workflows or when filtering content. However, since Kertos is continuously being developed, it is expected that these aspects will be optimized soon. In the area of document management, there is also potential for additional convenience features to make working with extensive files even more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kertos helped us structure and centrally manage the entire ISO 27001 implementation process. Before its introduction, we had to maintain documentation, measures, and responsibilities in multiple tools and folders, which was confusing and time-consuming. Now we use Kertos as our central hub for all information security topics – from policies and processes to tracking measures. Although we have not yet received the certification, we are actively working on it, and Kertos supports us in keeping an overview, saving time, and avoiding mistakes.
Compliance Automation from Start to Finish
What do you like best about the product?
Using Kertos automated 100% of the process for us. With the help from there experts and the great customer success team nothing felt like an obstacle and everything was just easy. We where using Vanta before, and you really can tell the difference it makes, having real people who are there to guide and help you through the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to come up with something we disliked about Kertos. It ran smoothly did exactly what we needed it do and allowed to to streamline our processes. I would say the tool is very powerful so it can take a moment to get the full understanding, however even there the Kertos team was with us every step of the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kertos helped us speed up and simplify all our compliance needs, staying within regulation is no longer a worry, but rather something we have become confident in. Rather then spending hours working on documentation, overlooking risks and filling out endless documents we have one software we can do all this in and have it automated rather then manually working on it ourselves. Compliance no longer takes up loads of our teams capacity but rather became and easy checkin.

Compliance partner that grows with our needs as a startup - made in the EU
What do you like best about the product?
We wanted a platform that simplified managing the EU AI Act and GDPR while also providing a DPO. From our very first meeting, Kertos showed that they understood the complexities of the EU AI Act, GDPR, and DPO work. The DPO kickoff was well-structured, giving us clarity on our responsibilities from day one. We also appreciate knowing that if we decide to expand into ISO or other frameworks later, we'll be prepared. We especially look forward to implementing the Kertos Trust Center, which will showcase our compliance efforts and streamline the paper-based process of becoming a new vendor, making it faster and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any negative points so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We developed our own GPT, which we sell to construction companies. As the EU AI Act questions increased, we needed to address it. We also received many questions about our GDPR documents, which slowed down our sales and created unnecessary work. We wanted to improve our documents and thus look for a partner that not only has a strong platform but also in-house experts. Kertos helped us stay operational and compliant without unnecessary complexity.

Even though we haven’t fully started the ISO process yet, Kertos has already provided valuable preparation tips and resources. Their ability to cover multiple frameworks like GDPR, ISO, and AI Act gives us confidence that we’ll be in good hands when we start. The personal support feels more like working with a partner than with a vendor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Literally nothing. So far the experience has been extremely positive. We decided to switch to Kertos from another supplier and never regretted that decision!

We wanted to prepare for ISO certification without wasting time on trial-and-error. Kertos is helping us set the stage so we can move quickly once we officially begin.
DPO and ISO compliance in one - total gamechanger
What do you like best about the product?
Kertos helps us with ISO27001, SOC2 and other certifications, which significantly decrease the length of our sales cycles. Additionally they are our official Data Protection Officer (DPO). The combination of automating our compliance and acting as our DPO is unique mix, making Kertos the most suitable solution for any European startup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of for now - so far we are very happy.
