What do you like best about the product?
Even though we haven’t fully started the ISO process yet, Kertos has already provided valuable preparation tips and resources. Their ability to cover multiple frameworks like GDPR, ISO, and AI Act gives us confidence that we’ll be in good hands when we start. The personal support feels more like working with a partner than with a vendor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Literally nothing. So far the experience has been extremely positive. We decided to switch to Kertos from another supplier and never regretted that decision!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to prepare for ISO certification without wasting time on trial-and-error. Kertos is helping us set the stage so we can move quickly once we officially begin.
DPO and ISO compliance in one - total gamechanger
What do you like best about the product?
Kertos helps us with ISO27001, SOC2 and other certifications, which significantly decrease the length of our sales cycles. Additionally they are our official Data Protection Officer (DPO). The combination of automating our compliance and acting as our DPO is unique mix, making Kertos the most suitable solution for any European startup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of for now - so far we are very happy.

What do you like best about the product?
Amazing support after the purchase; we booked the DPO and he already helped us so much - always fast to answer or hop on a call. They're also rapidly and actively developing the platform to make the process smoother / more simple to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some new platform functionalities are not fully baked out yet, but the'yre quick to fix them.

What do you like best about the product?
As a quickly growing scale-up, I could not imagine a better partner for compliance. We started with GDPR and added ISO through a cross-sell – all handled within the same platform. Kertos is the number one European Vanta alternative: full automation, hundreds of integrations, and the same technical strength but with local expertise. The personal support is always there when we need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find a true 'dislike.' I will say that because the platform is so comprehensive and automates so much, we had to take a moment to fully understand all of its capabilities. It’s a powerful tool, not a simple checklist, so there’s a small initial learning curve to unlock its full value. But their team was fantastic in helping us get up to speed.

Fast, Simple, Automated and Reliable EU Compliance Automation for Startups
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Kertos for our ISO 27001 work, and it’s working smoothly and was fast and easy integrated. The AI assistant (KAIA) walks you through everything, it automated most of the tedious tasks, and their customer support is outstanding. Whenever I had a question, they responded quickly and with clear, actionable answers. The fact that it’s fully hosted in Germany and built for EU regulations gave me a lot of confidence over other service providers in this space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I have nothing to complain about. A bit more guidance on setting up our internal compliance team during onboarding would have been a bonus, but the process still went smoothly and we were up and running quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us keep track of all the to-dos during onboarding and certification. Afterwards, it reduces our admin work to a minimum while still maintaining the highest level of compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Kertos’ GDPR features, especially the DSR workflows, fit integrate seamlessly with our operations. They’ve automated 100% of our compliance tasks, so what used to take days is now done in minutes and in many cases, does not even require a compliance manager's interaction anymore. Onboarding was a breeze as most integrations can be added with just a few clicks from a list of several hundreds of tools. Our homebrewn software is connected via API. Their team is very responsive and helps within hours if something beyond the standard scope is needed (which we saw rarely). As a European company, we also value having a partner from Europe that understands requirements and challenges first hand while easily measuring up to US compliance products.

Once implemented, it gets easy to forget we're even using the platform as it handles most issues by itself.

We needed to process GDPR requests quickly and keep our compliance status continuously audit-ready. With Kertos, the system runs in the background while our team focuses on core business priorities.

Kertos’ hundreds of integrations meant we didn’t have to change how we work, and the platform’s simplicity is matched by its depth. Knowing that we can expand into frameworks like SOC 2, NIS 2, or the AI Act later on is reassuring. We especially value the quick turnaround when we have questions – the support team knows our business and gives actionable answers right away.

One point that stood out to us is the customizability of the reports and dashboards. Although the standard dashboards are very good and clear, it would be great if we had the ability to tailor certain widgets and data points even more to our specific needs.
