What do you like best about the product?

By far, our project manager Priyanshi continues to be the best part of our experience with our partnership with Scrut. Her guidance, patience, and ability to advocate for our needs to her team is 100% the strongest deciding factor in our decision to renew our subscription with Scrut.

What do you dislike about the product?

The initial policy documentation is boilerplate/copy and paste for a standard AWS cloud app developer and has a lot of grammatical errors. Our model does not fit the template and it was impossible to get the compliancy team to fully grok. We had to rewrite a significant portion of the documentation ourselves without much guidance from the compliancy team. We also got paired with the absolute worst VAPT technician for our internal audit who could not use openVPN. After a month of back and forth we were elevated to the lead technician and magically everything worked fine for them. If it wasn’t for our PM, and the sunk costs to get to cert, we would have cancelled our contract.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

SOC2 certification
